All for bringing in youngsters but where is the room for these guys in the squad along side our own prospects yfeko king would compete with nisala at the back and barron Watson miller all playing similar roles to rice and McKinnon not to mention the senior players in middle of the park cantwell Lawrence cufientes Lowry still around.
Still lots of players needing moved on and some quality to give us a strong 11 and bench with these guys no more than squad players at present.

Lennon miller would be my top Scottish target this summer
Would be great to see him, Barron and Watson join the club. I’d have no problem selling raskin to accommodate signing these 3.
Perhaps one of them, likely Watson, could be loaned out once signed. Barron playing back up to Garcia and miller backing up, or taking the place of diomande if he’s good enough when given a chance.
I really like miller.
Also I’d take Danny Armstrong as a squad player definitely a more than decent player with good numbers always a steady 7 and never seen him play bad.

But we never give them a run to find out and end up leaving a few years down line when we’ve wasted a good portion of their careers.

End of the week should give a bit of transparency to who is leaving and what the gaps are as a priority. Re Cordoba granted it may be an agent touting him but as far as I read Levski moved the goal post as well to above what we were offering to buy as he is in the Copa America team - so maybe he did want to come but his price went up significantly.
I get the furore over the South Americans and Africans but remember they have international comps as well usually at key points of the season, so not too many please in critical roles or we will be up the creek again during the season.

I almost posted similar earlier. Players from Africa, South America etc should be looked at but not too many for this exact reason. We lost Sima at AFCON and then with a long term injury. I accept could’ve just as easy happened at Rugby Park but the time they are away is an issue at key points in the season. Good post mate.

Galdames Chilean defender, can play LB but his preference is CB, out of contract in 6 months so shouldn't cost too much and a big solid lad with quality skills, plays in the argentine premier league, coming into his prime at 25.

There is passing interest in him. For the home grown quota and forest also need to sign a new center back which they are in the market for.

Good post Sima, the top players find space in between the lines then they have the skill to play a pass or take a shot, thought Gundogan was a class above, great player his pass leading up to the second goal was top drawer, MaGregor couldn’t get near him.
Another level above were Germany. All their first 11 play for the top teams in Europe. We have two or three that play for top sides.

Just my opinion but people need to get a grip with this inherent pessimism We are in a market where regular top team players are out of scope. Kabanyi from BM is a young player that is in the same mould as Cortes who couldn't get regular time at Lens and he's made an impression at a lower league like ours. Recruitment needs to be smart with a potential to be good in our league with a sell on value. Granted some may be a Brandon Barker but that is the risk we need to take - have a bit of patience and then judge.

lens would struggle very much to beat bit rangers and celtic regularly, and the mid table teams in france would absolutely have a game on v a decent hearts or aberdeen team, sometimes we speak too much about our league being poor, so are very many outwith the richer bigger clubs.

I might be in the minority here but if he signs for someone else so what he’s a guy from a relegated team (loan) that the Swedish didn’t fancy, there’s others at a similar or better level we can and probably are going for. PC and team are experienced enough to know what is needed and unfortunately for us keep it private till signed.

Agree on the wake up call and from what we’ve seen of PC he won’t be repeating a performance like that again in defence - get Balogun in to replace Goldson
Injury list is growing but it’s the same with everyone else. It’s a bump in the road that needs to be flattened soon as - time to redeem with a performance against Benfica.
