RR, I agree with your points.
Stockridge seems very comfortable with the figures and yet states that
"Rangers will be down to last £1m by April" and seems to indicate that things are going to plan. SHOW US THE FORECASTS AFTER APRIL 2014 THEN
He agrees that he should not have taken a bonus based on the clubs league win-WELL PAY IT BACK THEN.
He also pledged to clarify one of the resolutions contained in the order of business for the annual meeting, seeming to allow directors and employees to make a loan which would then be converted into equity at a nominal value of 1p per share, essentially meaning that for an investment of £66,000, they could receive 6.6m shares.
We will pass that on to our lawyers, " Stockbridge said, "and look at having that reworded as that is not what is intended by this resolution. " DID THE LAWYERS NOT LOOK AT IT FIRST TIME ROUND?
SO MANY SPIVS, SO LTTLE TIME
Many questions to be asked -1. why such a high figure and how does it compare with simiolar public offerings, 2. who received the 5.7million and do they have any connections to Green, Stcokridge and co?
He still doesn't get it - His comments“Unlike most football clubs Rangers has money in the bank, no borrowings"
Unlike most clubs we've gone bust, left a lot of creditors as well as HMRC severely out of pocket, formed a new company and taken in £30m from shareholders and the forecast is that next April well have 1 m left.
No thanks to him, he's burning shareholders cash like its going out of fashion - severance package to Green, overnight stays at Turnbery on way to Stranraer and who knows what else
Wonder how much he took as his severence package!
10. Agreed. Anyone who can't remember that he was on over £800 k a year has a serious memory attention span problem and should not be allowed to be involved in sourcing and signing new players!
God help us if the choice is between Easedale or King
Good points SPM. Blin is a professional and will leave no stone uncovered when analysing the books and you can be sure that there will be a lot of nasty surprises however as long as he stops the rot and at least gives the shareholders some idea of what was going on
Matt, good point.
Unless MColl and Blin take over, then the present lot will bleed the club dry. The remaining cash will go and then they will sell and leaseback the assets at astronomical terms then when the club can't afford the lease rentals they will sell on the land including Murray park for vast profit.
Blin has thefinancial acumen and reputation to stop the rot and get the financial house in order.
and McCoist's not blameless - he's a shareholder also, and travelling to Stranraer and staying at the Turnberry Hotel! Come on -is he taking the Piss?
