Bolton Wanderers are interested in signing Rangers winger Harry Forrester, who is surplus to requirements.

Kaymer

1.) 08 Aug 2017 16:48:55
I'd drive him to Bolton myself

Really disappointed in Forrester. I thought he had something about him when he first came to the club. Terrible attitude and too fond of a good night out. allegedly.

In time he will regret how he has reacted whilst at Rangers. He could have been a decent player and maybe got a move to a Championship or Mid - table Premiership club (Stoke, West Brom) .

It's a steep learning curve when U play for a big club like Rangers, and unfortunately, young Harry has let himself down.

He'll know it in time that he blew a great chance to have a good career in the game

2.) 08 Aug 2017 20:43:46
Think he has some sort of ability but not matched by attitude. One of those who will be looking back in 10 years time wishing he'd made the most of his talent. No sympathy for that type of guy.

3.) 08 Aug 2017 20:52:33
I always thought he was guff and will be glad when he's gone.

4.) 09 Aug 2017 13:24:12
I agree with most, if not all of the above. I have never been a huge fan of Forrester, though I do think he had a bit of ability. I always found his attitude questionable. I just hope he does the decent thing and moves to a club that wants him and does not just sit tight stealing wages from a club that clearly does not.

5.) 09 Aug 2017 13:25:10
Harry forrester is a terrible player lads, let's be honest here! Quicker all the dead wood is away the better

On sky wags signs for ipswich.

Kaymer

1.) 07 Aug 2017 13:44:01
Just seen it Kaymer, 1 Million good bit o business, Hopefully now get Walker

2.) 07 Aug 2017 13:53:37
Rangers social media have confirmed it also.

3.) 07 Aug 2017 14:54:41
Good luck to waghorn but I'm surprised we got anywhere near a million for him.

4.) 07 Aug 2017 17:38:36
Give Hearts the 1 million to sign Walker if that's the fee we got for Waghorn.

5.) 07 Aug 2017 17:42:23
Well done to waggy good words about rangers

6.) 07 Aug 2017 17:50:05
Jaws, we didn't. It's around £220,000 and a few add-ons.

7.) 07 Aug 2017 18:38:44
If it was 1m or near it then it is a great bit of business but it was an undisclosed fee and I think its prob more around the 500k mark but could be wrong.
Imo after Walker the only other business we will be doing is arranging loans out and in.

8.) 07 Aug 2017 18:50:32
Wee-ecky always thought 1m was a high valuation and something around 500k was more realistic.
How do you know the figure was 220k though?

9.) 07 Aug 2017 19:34:04
Andy1872, two sources that I trust, but one of them is now saying that it was £220,000 up front with another £240,000 over two years, taking it to £460,000.

10.) 08 Aug 2017 01:23:00
Yeah 460k sounds right but 2 YEARS to pay 240k that 10k a month! Thought Sunderland would've been able to pay the remainder quicker than that.

08 May 2017 21:34:48
Seeing reports rangers and hearts being notified of berra to leave ipswich.

Kaymer

1.) 08 May 2017 22:05:25
Wouldn't touch berra he's brutal

2.) 08 May 2017 22:35:31
@espekay - 100% agree. I've never been impressed with him anytime I've seen him last few years.

3.) 08 May 2017 23:28:20
No, he is not better than we have got now.

4.) 09 May 2017 05:14:30
Just because he might be better than what we have now doesn't mean we should sign him. It woudnt be hard to be much better than Kiernan/ Senderos. He has never really impressed me for country, don't watch Ipswich enough to tell, but na not for me.

5.) 09 May 2017 09:58:35
Need to agree on that wouldn't want him.

6.) 09 May 2017 11:52:26
No thanks 👎🏻

Garner n waghorn scoring for fun at ipswich lol.

Kaymer

1.) 15 Aug 2017 20:30:13
In a stronger league than ours too. Does make you wonder what they could have done played correctly

2.) 15 Aug 2017 20:43:27
Ipswich aren't playing against teams who make playing us their cup final! The games are far more open! Best of luck to them but let's move on and get behind our strikers

3.) 15 Aug 2017 20:49:24
But they wernt scoring for fun at Rangers or they would still be there. Couple of good guys but just didn't work out . They got plenty of changes to be fair

4.) 15 Aug 2017 21:52:21
The Championship is wildly overrated. Actually watch some of the games and you will see that. Don't buy into that whole nonsense about it being streets ahead of SPL.

The pressure at Ipswich is nothing compared to Ibrox but well done to them regardless, never good enough for us.

5.) 15 Aug 2017 22:20:06
Waghorn was through one one with keeper on a lot of occasions with us and couldn't finish so we can't rewrite history he wasn't good enough to play for us or he would still be here.

6.) 15 Aug 2017 22:40:07
I'm not a fan of Mick McCarthy but maybe Waghorn and Garner playing well may have something to do with the manager.

McCoist, McDowall, McCall, Warburton, Murty and now Caixinha.

Mick McCarthy has more experience and knowledge of management than all six of these managers combined.

I always support the man in charge of the first team, but could you imagine if we got a decent experienced manager who is able to get the best out of players and play to their strengths?

Could you imagine someone like Mark Hughes, Tony Pulis, Sam Allardyce, Harry Redknapp, Alan Pardew, Steve Bruce.

You can debate the success rate of these managers and whether they'd suit the club or not but you can't argue they all have experience and would be realistic IMO.

We are Glasgow Rangers after all.

7.) 15 Aug 2017 22:52:33
played correctly . waggy. really?

how exactly did we play waggy incorrectly? he got plenty starts and lots of support from midfield and full backs bombing on to help provide chances which he missed week in week out once he stepped up to SPL. championship was his level where btw loads of his goals were pens but once in SPL he was found out - sorry it's true

ok maybe we didn't always play to garner strengths in a 4-3-3 but waggy - sorry i'm not having that

weight of the jersey at rangers is just too much for some to bear - something players at Ipswich st johnstone &'the like won't ever experience waggy was one and if you ask me makay was another

8.) 15 Aug 2017 22:09:05
prob mainly because when they made a bad pass they had 5k fans booing and calling them for everything then coming onto websites like this and get told they are the worst players in the world and aren't worth 200k. i suppose that is a great comfidence booster for any player that wears the red white and blue. wee example of the rubbish some fans spout on here big wes doesn't come for a one cross against motherwell they score on here get him sold he isn't good enough he is rubbish he is not rangers class. why don't we support our players wee wake up its not going to happen guys gers play 40 games win 40 games player rating 10 out of 10 every game no mistakes net worth 10 million each. that's what some fans on here expect wise up guys support the team and player give them a lift when they are having a bad game

9.) 15 Aug 2017 23:39:47
Played correctly.

What I mean by that is having actual wingers (not forwards played put of position) in the team to create real, constant goal scoring opportunities. Not just half chances, and a decent couple of chances in a game.

The way we played under MW didn't allow Waghorn too many opportunities to showcase his ability and given that Candeias is the first real winger we've had in a good while, Waghorn might have benefited having the type of service Candeias provided for Morelos goal against Hibs.

10.) 16 Aug 2017 01:45:12
"Waghorn" and "Ability" There's two words I never thought I'd see in the same sentence. He put in the effort, no denying that, but not good enough for Rangers.

11.) 16 Aug 2017 07:51:51
Now that's a manager i like to see at the gers alan pardew

12.) 16 Aug 2017 14:22:17
sorry but I've never seen a striker miss soo many opertunities and he had hunners . loads of sitters one on one with the keeper and loads of other chances he skied into the top half of the stadium or put well well wide he couldn't do it in a rangers top never mind tactics or positioning he couldn't score whe he had the chance unless it was a nalty

13.) 16 Aug 2017 14:46:47
Let's just get behind "Our" manager players and coaches and we will get success. Doesn't happen overnight but a blind man can see improvements. C'MON THE RANGERS

15 Aug 2017 08:40:01
Seen on sky rangers to appeal jack. s red card can't see them win it copland rd camera shows straight headbutt

Never no tho if they use the old provoked card stokes had hand round his throat and was just as bad as jack putting his head down jacks face etc but does not excuse jack for what he did. just wish he seen stokes smirk oor to the bench when ref showed him the red an stuck the head on him good n proper lol lol

Personally i would just accept it move on an get the lads geared up for the jim jams this weekend.

Why are people so concernd with walker is he signing etc etc

Wether he signs or not does not faze me i'm more concernd with what happens on the pitch just now and the players who are already wearing the gers badge just now

Players come players go walker ain't going to sign for rangers and the rest of scottish football are going to say may as well give rangers betfred cup prem league an scottish cup they signed jamie walker fae hearts

1 man does not make a team rangers need a quality squad all the way from goalie to forwards and signing jamie walker ain't going to fix every position on the pitch

wallace good player captain 1st player at admin to say after 5 mins were do i sign deserves all the respect and support from our fans our club for what he has done for our club but gets slated on here

Mckay waghorn haliday (loan) kernian garner etc done there time now moved on i wish them all tbe very best but it now time to stand up and support the players who are at rangers not slate them.

Kaymer

1.) 14 Aug 2017 12:34:05
We're concerned with signing Walker as he is 1 of the top talents in Scotland, he offers something different that we currently lack. I would like us to be a club that snaps up homegrown players before they go down south

Sick of our country best talent going down to play for Diddy league 1 teams ( I know those teams offer more money! ) But how can ouread game develop all our best players go to these teams then end up getting sold on at massive profit

I read the other day that a championship team was ready to offer something in the region of £8m for Marvin Johnson ( I know he's english) , my point is! What fee did Motherwell get for him? 250k? Free transfer? ! even if Motherwell had received 1 or 2 million then that money would have been reinvested in our game by them buying other young Scottish players.

I bet you by the end of season Liam Boyce will be touted around for 7 or 8 million if not more

2.) 14 Aug 2017 13:02:53
Sorry for the rant but I just think Scottish people are so negative about the Scottish game whilst small English teams cherry pick our best talent for next to nothing! ! Anyone remember Ross McCormack for instance! !

Oops there is going again!

3.) 14 Aug 2017 14:06:39
Money not in the game here players getting double of someone like sheff wed . norwich. ipswich etc why they go better standard of football better quality of teams to play no disrespect but you would rather test yourself against forest. villa. sundrland. reading. etc than east fife. stirling. elgin etc etc . But my personal opinion scottish football bringing threw they youth etc has died since scottish farce association done away with u21s league etc

Rangers 1st team away to aberdeen not everyone can afford to go an take kids etc when years ago all you done was pop along to ibrox watch the u21s etc pay £5 a head for instance that wae more kids going to football club colects extra few quid and all the young talented lads are playing week in week out instead of training all week and most sitting at home watching soccer saturday with jeff sterling

4.) 15 Aug 2017 09:15:47
Kaymer,

My point is tho if we were to invest in our own players then sell them off for a profit and then reinvest the money again on another promising youngster from Scotland the money would start to come back into our game. Spread the wealth and all that

Most ain't negative most are facts

Some on here support pedro some don't

Some wonder why no one can score for rangers but can for every one else

Some want to wait till players gel ( how long? ) some dont

It same as performace i can say we played amazing you might say not we all have our opinions but the thing we all want is rangers winning but things take time but how long do you give it that's the BIG QUEDTION

Yip mr souness said same thing an was slated for it

On pedro yip give guy chance always back the manager till board say other wise but peple say give players time to gel? How long do you give them end of sept? Xmas? End of season?

It easy to say give them time to gel but there with each other every day training gelling doing tactics getting to know pace skill awareness ability etc etc etc of each other so why need to wait till they gel on pitch?

Mckay garner o. hallaran waghorn seemed to have gelled quickly at new clubs even andy haliday so why need so much time at rangers? Are the other clubs more professional than us they gel quicker? Just asking as the need time to gel thing is total bull tav wallace miller windass fod wilson holt been there yrs still not gelling properly as it not always 100% passes crosses to each other or so
