No what you're is making an outrageously generalised statement. My issue was you didn't specify who has to come out of the dark ages? The boy's family? Rangers fans? Celtic fans? You are the only person who implied religion would be an issue. And as to your point about elements of fans having out dated views then absolutely, but that's a societal issue, not a footballing one.

It's the club who are interested in signing him? So the club has certainly moved on from the 'no Catholics policy' and I haven't seen anyone on here saying the don't want him because he may or may not be one. I'm not sure what I'm pretending isn't there exactly?

Seeker, who's in the dark ages? Not wanting to sign for the team you supports biggest rival hardly puts you in the dark ages. If religion was mentioned then perhaps but it wasn't. So put your high horse back in the stable.

How do you know Dave King won't spend the money? How do you know MW would even want a player like Vuckic? People on here assume Dave King isn't spending any money but its not up to a chairman to identify and sign players, they will negotiate with the other club but the manager will identify the targets.
