Story iv been told is his agent was holding the deal up being greedy so he's sacked him.

Villa have agreed to pay him the years wages to leave so don't think he will mind dropping wages for a year at rangers. If he signs for a epl team he will only be backup. Rangers will give him game time and a chance to win something.
