Excellent news, however the job is not yet done, the individual decisions of many of the Rangers family to withhold the money from this shower of scumbags is exertign the intended pressure. And by the look of it we finally have shrewd Rangers minded business men who are happy to turn the screw. i'm neither an expert in shares or a mathemitician (or clearly that good as spelling) however currently ashley and the sleazedales are believed to hold proxy votes in the region of 36.7 percent of the current shareholding with todays moves I understand the Three Bears have in the region of 19.6 percent so clearly the job is not finished. I need someone with a better idea of share dealings in a listed company but I saw it stated elsewhere that if an individual or consortium reach over 30% ownership of a limited company then they are able or obliged (not sure which) to trigger a buy out of the remaining shareholders. If this is anywhere near right it would be interesting to see what percentage the representatives of the rangers fan groups currently own as I saw somewhere (so not sure of accuracy) of 12% now surely if the fans groups join forces with the three bears we could trigger the circumstances that the 3 bears seem to be aiming for and that is an opportunity to take majority control of Rangers. Someone previously said that the price offerred under these circumstances is the average of the price in the preceding year. Surely within the Rangers family we now have at leat enough to combine to give the 3 Bears their 30% to force the buyout, on the basis what I have said is roughly correct, or is the fragmented family going to be yet again a barrier to us being ran again as a transparent and honest business. On a personal note I have held out despite my 16 year old sons protests and have refused to put a penny into any business attached to the scumbags and therefore not bought his prized season tickets. today was the first time in along while he has smiled on the subject of rangers because I can see a time when we take our place back in the rangers family (i have no axe to grind with those who choose to keep attending or supporting we all make our own decisions on what we think is best for our family and rangers is no different, but I look forward to the day soon when I can sit with pride again within the heart of Ibrox, I would however reiterate that for those choosing to withhold their cash I think we need to continue that pressure to asssist those now trying to rescue our family as any money currently spent will only go to keep the Rats afloat and straight into their pocket. We have well regarded financially astute people in place to step in so now is the time to tighten the screw
