Morelos' agent wants a contract of 40-50k/ week and a substantial fee. he's likely to leave before end of the transfer window, if fit.

Is on around £33k pw at the moment. Don’t think a new contract around £40k pw would be unexpected for him to extend. Depends what substantial fee means, £500k… £2m?! Personally, I would offer 2 year extension on top of the year he has left, £40k-£42k pw and a reasonable sign on. All with a view that we need him in CL this year and this is potentially shaping up to be a great season where we could fight on 4 fronts and have the depth to do it. Then I would do everything to sell next summer. I feel we will get him and Kent signed up but with a view we sell both next summer.

Agree sweep, if he won’t sign the contract offer its time to find him another club. Will he come back from injury firing on all cylinders? He has been a problem since he joined Rangers with his disciplinary record, temperament, huffs, falling over, and missing sitters. On his game he is handful but he is not what you would call a clinical finisher. Cannot allow him to run the contract down and leave for peanuts!

I wouldn`t give his agent a penny, he doesn`t play for us and he obviously blabs personal information to outsiders . As for Ross Stewart, no way he could replace Alfie, he`s not in the same class and is a huge drop in class from where we want to be as a club.

We are bringing in cash and had a great run in Europe last year, I'd give him £45k a week. If we want to push on from last year we need to pay more. Alfredo is worth it.

Give him 40k based on performance and goals scored, 500k sign on bonus based on an extra 2 years extension, and a sell on clause of 20 mill for first bidder to meet the price (which won't happen my opinion and I love Alf when he is on his game)

Motelos did have a disciplinary problem but he has well and truly sorted that out. He is also a very good player, much better now than when he signed. Hope he stays for another 3 or 4 years as he gives us something different from other strikers.

Morelos is never a natural finisher but what he does over and above that is unmatched. I’m not his biggest fan and technically he’s not the best footballer but he’s vital to the way we play. Like Diego Costa or Drogba were for Chelsea a few years ago.
