Any truth in Davies missus being terminally ill, reason for his absence.

I sincerely hope not.

Wouldnt be a far off estimation by the look of it, supposedly she was diagnosed as terminal a while back. i'm sure we can all agree that if that's the case whatever time they need they should have. I don't like to pay too much attention to the murdoch rag for obvious reasons. And while they do have a track record of some poor taste articles it would be a new low to get this one wrong.

Darth with all due respect where did you hear that? I've never heard those words muttered anywhere. I sincerely hope this is just a disgusting rumour for him and his wife's sake. Also as harsh as it sounds if the club knew that before signing should they of thought twice. Personally I believe gio saying he is injured and back soon, why would they say he's back soon, if his wife's terminal surely they would say its looking like a few months ect so all goes quiet dor the guy. I hope this is just a nasty rumour and we see him fully fit soon.

Not sure what the current status is. His wife had cervical cancer and delayed treatment as she was pregnant. They had a healthy baby. I hope for the very best for them. I hope our fans give them the respect they need.

Arfield - her previous diagnosis was in the press before and I think they both did a fair bit of interviews around it to help raise awareness in younger women - lots of suggestions it's unfortunately returned. Awful news and quite inspiring what she's overcome. Let's hope it's not true and all is well.

@arfield. She was diagnosed at 19 apparently dude. Its all speculation because there doesn't seem to be anything concrete coming from either of them. But its otherworldly sh*te regardless.
There was an article in the daily record in 2019 claiming she was considered terminal then! If that's true shes done extremely well. Got a few cases of cancer around me and saying chemo is crap is a bloody understatement. With a bit of luck he's off to support her through some treatment and that's all it needs to be for both their and the kids’ sakes. As much as we all would want him out on the pitch, this sort of thing has to come first.

Nobody should be posting anything personal to the players this type of thing personally should not be speculated they would rather not having to deal with speculation / Gossip.
