So bears and bearettes, reports surfacing this morning that alfredo morelos has told rangers he's not signed a pre contract with sevilla or anyone else or even spoken to sevilla or anyone else ?He states he hasn't spoken about leaving rangers ?You honestly don't know in the football circle what to believe right enough! Poster RFC on here was adamant that his source said it was a done deal back in january and alfie had indeed signed a pre contract back then with sevilla ? Would be interesting what he thinks of this now ?.

As far as I'm aware Alfredo doesn't have to disclose any bosman pre contract unless it's to someone in the same league so with big games still to come up wouldn't you say that so you can maximise game time? Or his agent could be advising him to keep quiet for now. Regardless I can't see him staying with us and believe it's just a formality so I wouldn't read too much into it, players, and agents, possess a hell of s lot of power thesedays.

I would have thought it more likely that his agent leaked the rumour to increase his options, either a better deal from us or to bring clubs out of the woodwork for him.
I'd be surprised if Alf has stated he hasn't spoken to or signed with anyone, if that wasn't the case.
He's free to do what he wants TBH. He's out of contract in summer, as we all know, so if his agents aren't working his ticket, they're not doing their job.

I'd love Morelos to stay but it's the Morelos of before I want. The guy needs to look at himself and ask if he could do more. I've defended him against people talking of his weight in the past but right now he is not fit enough. Before he could hold the ball up or bustle through defenders he shows how out of shape he is by hitting shots that aren't going to bother the keeper from outside his normal area as he knows he can't beat the man. If he could sort that I'd love him to stay but this is a team game and we need guys that are about the team not themselves.

Simple truth is none of us know and he will be on a decent wage after a big transfer so unless he's willing to take a cut and be seen as third choice until he proves himself then it's a no from me and by the look of. it a no from most of the other posters on here too. He's not even first choice for Scotland he's probably about third or fourth choice so that says more about his ability in my opinion.
