4th Official on twitter reporting rangers have definite interest in Luis Palma and Dessers. First I've seen Luis Palma mentioned in weeks so that is a positive in my opinion and Dessers looks a player from what I've seen (YouTube which isn't the best option lol) . Conference league top scorer last year and managed 8 goals this season in serie A for a team who were relegated. Bossed the Dutch league as well and only struggle I've seen him have was in Belgium.

Dessers is definitely a player that would do well for us but i feel that the fee is a bit inflated considering his age, if we can get him for around 3 million then i'd be pleased with that. i'm really hoping we don't spend big money on Haji Wright that one just doesn't excite me in the slightest i think there is far better value for money out there.

Lewis Ferguson scored the same amount of league goals as Dessers - from midfield. Other than a purple patch in the conference league his scoring record over the last several years has been very average. At 29 this year his resale will be non-existent.

Palma and his agent are publicly agitating for a move from Aris after signing a 4 and a half year contract last January. If that’s how they conduct themselves I’d rather not see them anywhere near Rangers. We don’t need that drama.

Beale - Dessers league goals scored since 2017 - 9, 3, 15, 7, 9, 6 having played 149 games.

Lewis scored the same amount of goals as him this season in Serie A from midfield.

Even last season Dessers scoring ten goals in serie A at a team that got relegated is quite impressive, our fans go on about signing players that are first team ready well its rare that we can afford a player that is proven at a high level under the age of 25. Dessers would excel in a team that dominates the ball like we do, just like he did at Feyenoord.

I feel dessers is a big risk and I'm really concerned at the fee.

People are inflating this guy's record which is not as impressive as people making out. If you read up more from clubs he's been at fans say he misses a hell of a lot of chances.

However I do think his traits make him a good fit for the Scottish game if we can get him for a lesser fee I'd be ok with his signing but nothing more than 2million for me as there is no sell on potential at all.

I would think it would make more sense to pay the 5 million wanted for 22 year old kristovic than pay same or more for 28/ 29 year old dessers and protect our investment Beale might be the manager but do you forget what our club went through with these exact type of stupid moves with fees we will never get back I for one want to safeguard our team and not be selfish and look at one season at the cost of future seasons.

Storm cantwell is not a striker and I think most of the talk on cantwell was if we should get him right away for a fee or wait for nothing both would be right in a way.


I don't think many people doubted cantwell being a good signing it was a no brainer.

Also storm it's not like you ever venture an opinion on a player before playing for club so it's a bit hypocritical to call others out for something your too scared to do yourself ?.

Gofor mention players we are linked with over the last couple of seasons that i say I've seen play? their is many players mentioned on her i know nothing about, players i know about, i knew about Raskin because we were linked with him years, seen Maja live in over 10 games seen Butland many times seen Dowell many times live twice seen Cifuentes many times, seen Cantwell like many others many times, seen Trusty a handful of times just gives me names gofor, as said earlier know nothing about Sterling Palma Krasso Patino Woodman or Yates all mentioned, by the way gofor i only know about Jovanovic because seen him play a few games watching that young lad we were after.
