Lammers is getting rave reviews in the Dutch league and the Utrecht fans can't believe they got him ?.

Not saying I wanted to keep him or was impressed at all by him but they’re playing him as a lone striker. We never gave him a chance as a number 9 and decided to play him in a position he’s never played before. Maybe that was part of the issue.

David he scorwd 5 goals in 3 seasons previous to rangers. Probably why he's not looked at as a number 9.

Lammers i hope continues to do well for utrecht, but not suited to scottish football for me ? I think we'll look to sell him in all probability for a loss, this summer
Just look at the number of clubs he's already been at without settling and he's not old ? Tells you all you need to know and we're too big a club for him imho ?.

He’s technically gifted as a player and he always worked hard in a Rangers jersey. Unfortunately for all parties, he just didn’t cut it in Scotland. I wish him well and hope for a decent fee when he moves on permanently.

Kri55 some of the fans were a disgrace the way they treated Lammers. Cheering when he was subbed really annoyed me and I felt terrible for the lad. I’d understand it if he didn’t try but he always put a shift in.

I get that Paul but maybe it’s not a coincidence he’s started to play better when played in his natural position. He looked totally lost in attacking midfield maybe he’d have been better up top.

Wholeheartedly agree david1996, absolutely disgraceful behaviour from our fans towards one of our own players, benefits no one booing the team far less Individual players lacking confidence being subbed or coming on, moronic to think that's going to do anything for the confidence, only hindered the team / club with bad blood, I hope he tears it up at Utrecht I liked the big guy had a soft spot for him he always tried his best and actually very good with the ball at his feet but like most our forward players it's decision making or final product that let us down badly at big moments.

I hope the lad does really well, just because it never worked out with us is no reason to dislike the boy. Some players and managers don’t work at certain clubs doesn’t mean they are bad people Sima doesn’t get a sniff at Brighton but we rate him.

This is what is so good about not havin go obligation to buy in deals.
If he ends up having a successful loan spell. As let’s face it he’s not been out of this world so far, just good, then Utrecht would just have signed him and sold him on at a profit.
Now we can sell him to a club who can afford the fee we will be looking for instead of £2.5m we wanted in the contract before he left.

Same with ridvan, don’t put an agreed deal. Take £500k fae galatasaray and leave the fee open just give them a right to match the highest bid.
