Keep seeing Barrons name being mentioned with us, a few months ago it was supposedly a done deal signing him up on a pre contract, then I seen that Clement walked away from the deal as he wasnt want to be held to ransom, anyone know has this changed? and are we back negotiating with the player and agent? Just seems quite mixed reports on matter.

All I heard, and that was second hand, was that the agents were trying to fire up the signing on fee to an unacceptable level from our perspective. If the demands are realist, I’d like this one to happen. Sooner rather than later.

Be good to hear if anyone is in the know about Barron. Lads a great young player and great prospect at only 21. He was very dynamic against them on Saturday and bossed there midfield second half. I hope we get him as he will certainly improve our team and go on to bigger things.

I don’t think McKinnon is as good as Barron. I’d like us to reevaluate the offer in summer. He will be on much less than Jack, however, we have even better in Rice on our books.

Lennon miller at Motherwell probably the best young Scottish player in the country atm.
We should sign him in the summer, take him with us for pre season tour etc to get feel for the club and loan him back to Motherwell for the season.
He’s going to be some player.
Him and rice could be Scotlands midfield for 10years in the next couple of years say 3/ 4 years time.

My understanding on Miller is he has signed pro terms with Motherwell, so unlike Rice, they can ask for top dollar for him and have already had enquiries from down south. Think they expect him to go for seven figures and doubt we'd pay that for a 17 year old.

Was speaking to a couple of the youth coaches yesterday and he can play both Centre Half and Central Midfield, and that adaptability is something Gio and his team are trying to imprint at all levels.
Be interesting to see how we line up with a full preseason under our belt.

From what I've been told the youth we are currently bringing in will be among the best in the country. If we can develop them we will follow the mould Ajax use with bringing in more than half the starting 11 via our academy. We already have 3 from the academy in the first team in mccann, lowry and King. Future looks great with all these youngsters.

I'm not overly concerned about Jordan not signing, not sure how the climate would have suited him, bad enough when your raring to go to a new club but being pushed or dragged to come is not what we need right now, we need a full blooded warrior midfielder whos going to run through walls to join us, loads of midfielders out there who would walk over broken glass in bare feet to join us and for less money
people need to stop with the doom it's constant, players knocking back clubs is part of the game it happens every single day in football, we are just being scrutinized to a higher standard right now . I wonder why that is? Dark arts at play again especially in media outlets

Medical team upgrade/ reshape
Youth policy changing
New transfer strategy
Offloading 7 + players on big wages
Signing players
It's not a 2 week operation a bit of patience is needed, and we need to fully support the management team and players current and incomings now more than ever, this in-house bickering isn't doing anyone at the club good, let's all support the team and get behind every player and not just ones you like maybe try giving guys like Wright and dessers more encouragement instead of abuse.
Ps for what's it's worth I believe in the manager and feel we will have some big players coming in and a few out the door WATP.

Great post. Things are obviously not going as quickly as we like but I see some extremely positive changes. Might not be good enough to win the league or qualify for the Champos league this year, but if we have got rid of the high waged players who contribute little, and have added young hungry talent then it sets us up for success in the future. I will take a full season of transition apposed to kicking the bucket further down the road and pout us in an even weaker financial position.
Sadly this is the window we should have had after the Europa league run when all our players were at their highest value.

Cheers lads, forgot to add it was euros on aswel which was holding up things as well, looks really Rosey over at parkhead but honestly they daft games we lost last year against county, Motherwell we would have went on to win the league and Rodgers would have been getting absolutely hounded, is straight in the CL, injury and vad luck has in my opinion been alor of our down fall last several season, just been cursed with injurys, Clement has said he's found the Problem and it's putting it in place to correct it, hopefully it starts this year and finally rid this curse.

Gjd, I'm all for positivity mate but tbh the doom and gloom that comes from the support is in reaction to the way the team/ club we all love are performing/ running and when it's as bad as it is now, fans are going to bicker and also call out the club on the way things are going. These posts come around every so often calling for the fans to get behind the team as though we are the problem, we as fans are asked to support the team which we do everywhere they go, we are doing our bit as we always do, it's the other side of things that aren't running properly. We are entitled to be pissed off and call out what's going on mate, as rangers wouldn't be anything without people like you and i. This isn't just a phase we are going through we've been injuring this for a long time. In house bickering will always be there even if we're doing trebles.

Well a good result yesterday after a very disappointing week and that's putting it mildly, let's hope we can kick on now and win all remaining games, I for one don't believe the leagues over just as I stated when beale left the club, will it be difficult? Absolutely but if we can put on a real show and beat them at Celtic park it will throw the cat amongst the pigeons and hopefully they panic, it's very disappointing that we have blew so many points of late, motherwell was bad but Dundee and Ross county was especially frustrating, but in all honesty we didn't deserve to win we were far too negative and lethargic, really need to get behind the team and hope they repay us with a winning run to glory, as big mar said " keep believing ".

I've been as a whole disappointed in him, showed a couple of flashes but poor so far for me, I'm not the type the wright of a player so early tho, he's not played a great deal last year and I'm hoping he's just needing a run of games, I was expecting him to be a bit more of an old style winger taking players on but seems he needs to cut inside all the time to get on his left foot, he's quite frustrating to watch at times but I suppose a lot of wide players are.
