Keep seeing Barrons name being mentioned with us, a few months ago it was supposedly a done deal signing him up on a pre contract, then I seen that Clement walked away from the deal as he wasnt want to be held to ransom, anyone know has this changed? and are we back negotiating with the player and agent? Just seems quite mixed reports on matter.

All I heard, and that was second hand, was that the agents were trying to fire up the signing on fee to an unacceptable level from our perspective. If the demands are realist, I’d like this one to happen. Sooner rather than later.

Be good to hear if anyone is in the know about Barron. Lads a great young player and great prospect at only 21. He was very dynamic against them on Saturday and bossed there midfield second half. I hope we get him as he will certainly improve our team and go on to bigger things.

Lennon miller at Motherwell probably the best young Scottish player in the country atm.
We should sign him in the summer, take him with us for pre season tour etc to get feel for the club and loan him back to Motherwell for the season.
He’s going to be some player.
Him and rice could be Scotlands midfield for 10years in the next couple of years say 3/ 4 years time.

My understanding on Miller is he has signed pro terms with Motherwell, so unlike Rice, they can ask for top dollar for him and have already had enquiries from down south. Think they expect him to go for seven figures and doubt we'd pay that for a 17 year old.

Was speaking to a couple of the youth coaches yesterday and he can play both Centre Half and Central Midfield, and that adaptability is something Gio and his team are trying to imprint at all levels.
Be interesting to see how we line up with a full preseason under our belt.

From what I've been told the youth we are currently bringing in will be among the best in the country. If we can develop them we will follow the mould Ajax use with bringing in more than half the starting 11 via our academy. We already have 3 from the academy in the first team in mccann, lowry and King. Future looks great with all these youngsters.

Well a good result yesterday after a very disappointing week and that's putting it mildly, let's hope we can kick on now and win all remaining games, I for one don't believe the leagues over just as I stated when beale left the club, will it be difficult? Absolutely but if we can put on a real show and beat them at Celtic park it will throw the cat amongst the pigeons and hopefully they panic, it's very disappointing that we have blew so many points of late, motherwell was bad but Dundee and Ross county was especially frustrating, but in all honesty we didn't deserve to win we were far too negative and lethargic, really need to get behind the team and hope they repay us with a winning run to glory, as big mar said " keep believing ".

Miovski will not be a Rangers player absolutely not a hope in hell we are giving Aberdeen anywhere near the money they are asking. to think otherwise is complete insanity, and I find it highly unlikely that our gaffer sees shankland as the man to spearhead our attack this year, he's not mobile enough for our formation, in a pair possibly but one up top he's not starting in our 11, no chance, someone of Kenny millers mould would be more suited to our formation last year, just like you wouldn't play Boyd up front himself in this team.

Totally agree, cantwell didn't help himself with the online stuff and calling fans bellends but some of the abuse of players at times is a joke Tav and Goldson especially, sickens me to see an hear it, these guys gave loads of effort for us and gave us many great nights, never hid and very rarely injured, yes has defensive flaws at times but the good far outweigh the bad, I for one will never forget the service they done for us during turbulent times, took us to a European final and stopped potentially umpteen titles in a row from Celtic, if the rest of the squad were in the same fitness mould as Tav and Goldson we would have had a far bigger trophy haul, very rarely injured and never hid regardless of this rubbish bag nonsense, aye maeda ripped him apart but let's just focus on the negative points out of nine years rather than all time British scoring defender, team of the year most times, player of the year alot, Europa top scorer .
