Just thinking about mcgregor saves yestarday a know it was just Hamilton but am shocked he's never had the chance at a big club apart from rangers of course when he left a was surprised a top 6 team in England never took a chance on him he's proven himself at the top level not only in Europe for rangers but for Scotland aswel at the age of 39 he is still in good shape just wondering what's your thoughts on why he never got picked up by a big club.

Poor at cross balls, and distribution is hit and miss.
Same as Goram, great shot stopper, but EPL teams are looking for more.

Spurs were interested in him after they signed Allan Hutton but apparently him n Hutton had been hitting the nightclubs n stuff together partying a bit much so Spurs decided it would be a bad idea.
I also think he should e got a chance at a top 4/ 6 club. Liverpool have had Pepe Reina and Jerzy dudek for example. Not great keepers Man U have had a lot of problems through the years. Arsenal never convincing with keepers. I remember having an argument in the boozer with a guy I know, I said mcgregor was the best British goalkeeper at the time, he tried to shoot me down saying joe hart was better, which may well have been the common consensus at the time. Hart was doing well for city but I’ve never been a major fan of his. I still stand by my statement. Think McGregor was at hull at the time.

He's taller than either Goram or Klos, probably our two best ever keepers.

Not good enough on cross balls, does not dominate 6 yard box and his control and distribution has never been a strength. Good keeper though and a true Rangers man.

Bgate w that's why a said at a big club other than rangers meaning we are a big club maybe his lifestyle was part of it just a weird one a mean first and foremost a want my keeper to be a great shot stopper if his passing and that is good then that's a bonus seems now a day's they want keepers who can pass but are decent shot stoppers cheers for the replys guys just wanted opinions on it.
