Now that this season is virtually over and looking like we are unbeaten in the league, next season becomes the focus.

No doubt SG and his staff are well ahead in plans for new recruits and will know who they will sell and for how much if an offer comes in.

For me, the biggest issue that we will have is the one that SaG cannot influence.

This year there is no doubt that some of our key players have benefitted from empty stadiums.

Next season will we see the return of the boo boys as soon as two passes go astray or someone makes a mistake that costs us a goal?

Surely even the least savvy amongst us must realise that the sunshine supporters (who must share an opinion no matter the effect on players) cost us points.

Celtic will be reinvigorated next season with a new manager and a few players - we need everyone on side behind the manager and every player who is chosen to wear the shirt.

Ranger swill be reinvigorated as well DK mate and well aware they will need to step up to the challenge.

As for maybe be unbeaten in the league (? ) the players are played like they are on holiday now on the cup game.

totally agree DK19 and for sure some people are going to say well if they play for the Gers they should be able to take that from the fans or else they shouldn't be playing for us. for me support the players on the park and criticise after the game if its warranted. i'm tired of saying it, that every boo does the opposite of what is intended. it doesn't make a player say, oh i better play better, it causes the player to retract and not ask for the ball in fear of another boo from the crowd. Every team in this country know that all they need do is to make it difficult for us in the first 45 then our fans turn on our own players and effectively become the 12th man for the opposition.

Supporters don't cost the team points. Fans have been putting pressure on players to perform at Ibrox since the beginning, its up to the players to cope with that pressure and if they can't then they move on. Supporters cost us points, that's priceless. 👍.

Behind the scenes the focus may well have shifted to next season but from a player and coaching point of view the full focus is about beating them on Sunday, we aren't unbeaten league champions until the table says it's so.

For goodness sake, get a grip man. By you're reckoning, your insinuating that some players are not strong enough to take criticism or some booing, and as soon as crowds are back, and they get booed, they'll buckle and cost us a result? Get a grip! You obviously don't think much of our players. If they lack the ability to ignore the boos, or the criticism, then they should be nowhere near a team like Rangers.
I've been going to Ibrox for over 30 years now, and as far back as I remember, fans have always been hard on players. Are today's players so delicate and precious they can't handle it? Behave!

Of course they will have to get their mojo back next season and we have to be prepared for a better challenge from them.

They also know the league is over and we are champions but they will want to try and humiliate us on a last gasp exit on Sunday.

Expect them to come at us with all guns blazing at our reduced squad.

This close season will be the most important close season to date and we need to see four quality new players in line with Gerrard's strategy of continuous improvement of the squad. For me we need to bring in two quality midfield players, we can't continue to depend on Davis and Arfield ton play every week especially nit we want a run in Europe. Whoever comes in needs to be a significant upgrade on Zunga! I would also like to see us sign two quality forwards, I don't see us retaining Defoe and I just don't rate Itten. If we lose Kent Morelos or Helander then we will need to replace them with players of at least the same quality. With Katic injured and just getting his fitness back I wouldn't be adverse to seeing another centre back on our books, perhaps an older player with experience and leadership qualities.
