I wish some of our fans could appreciate what Gerrard has done for this club. Jeez, he has done wonders considering our position when he took the realm at Ibrox, ok his leaving wasn't great timing but come on people what he got us was phenomenal 55.things would be absolutely dire if Celtic had won 10 just think about that and let's give him credit. Now it's time for Gvb so let's get behind him now please and let's remember the good times Gerrard gave us.

I wish fans would realise everyone is entitled to their own opinion whether you agree with it or not 1/ 9
Is a horrendous record respect he won the one we all wanted but it’s time to move on.

He is appreciated mate. His time is over though. New era / chapter has begun. Time to move on. i'm pretty sure Gerrard isn't still talking about Rangers and us fans. I have closed the book. Its Gio's time to shine.

Gerrard sneaked out the back door without any respect for the fans. Fans are falling for his party lines and he's now feeding the AV fans the same party lines. 1 out of 9 is brutal. His tactics, tinkering and his inability to drop his favourites were more than questionable. Yip we are delighted to get 55 but for some unknown reason he's regarded as a poster boy by some on here. GIO is an upgrade and I can't wait to see us progress.

Storm 1 in 9 doesn't sound great but I'm deliriously happy with the 1 we got. AND deliriously happy Gerrard delivered as I never imagined we could win anything never mind 55 due to the state we were in.
Jking he certainly is NOT appreciated by many on here who have very short memories, we are now respected in Scotland/ Europe and its a wonderful feeling being back.

We all appreciate what SG did but not the way he left.
SG is in the past let's look forward to GVB tenure.

Most fans appreciate everything he done for us, he only has himself to blame if some turn against him, it’s all about G. V. B now.

Gios here now, thanks SG, but now we look forward. Thanks for the foundations. Build, build and build. The future's bright. WATP.

The timing of Gerrards leaving was maybe not so bad. He was clearly struggling to deliver the level of performance achieved last year. I lost count of the number of times posters on here were reduced to taking comfort from the result a game despite what was widely acknowledged as puzzlingly below par performances.
The manner of his leaving was shabby though. It is very difficult to believe that his appointment and that of his back room staff at Villa was the work of a couple of days.
Particularly disappointing given his track record of plain speaking and straight answers.
Thanks for what he did but I suspect we are in a better place now than we were two weeks ago.

Ritereg I think the same mate but acknowledge Gerrard for what he has achieved with us.

Ory I’ve already been slated on here for saying my piece but I agree with you. I hear about 1 in 9 trophies was shocking and he was tactically inept. It was the one trophy every rangers fan in the world wanted and his inept tactics of playing 3 up front has seen us playing some brilliant away performances in Europe and an attacking style of play not seen at I Rox for many a year!
The question I ask myself is this, when SG took over from the circus and shambles that we were, if someone said to me he’d win the league and stop 10, get through the group stages twice in Europe, transform the professionalism and implement solid foundations throughout the whole club, leave us part way through a season to manage in the premiership bit we’d still be in Europe, semi final of a cup and 4 points clear at the top of the league. Oh, and the league we won was done by going unbeaten! I for one would have bitten your hand off!
That said, it’s thanks SG and we move on to hopefully bigger and better things under Gio.

1 in 9 is Celtic Da patter when you don't take into account the bigger picture.
From the starting position Gio has inherited ( top of the league, semi-final, Europa League Groups ) a few of you are going to be devastated when Gio doesn't deliver trebles and doubles every season.
I wonder who the first will be to question Gio's favoured 4-3-3?
Or call him a clown when he doesn't make the subs you demand or his tactics?
Or when he eventually leaves, who will be the first to question Gio's loyalty and call him him snake, rat etc.
Get over your bitterness and rage about an ex-manager you didn't rate but seem to be mightily upset about him leaving.
You need to stop embarrassing yourself over the denial of what Gerrard achieved and now look to the future under Gio.

Not just themselves they are embarrassing MPH, they are embarrassing the club and it’s traditions.

Support the club and everything/ everyone connected during good and bad days.

Just my opinion.

Tactically inept is exactly what you have just proved alloa. 433 worked a treat in europe we all agree but in the spl? Have you watched us this year? Its anything but free flowing attacking football. Gerrard did nothing to change it. Hopefully Gio's 433 is the attacking kind where we have pace directness and we get players running in behind and not the 433 where fredo can't score, we play tippy infront of teams and we ship goals right left and centre.

New guy - this season? agree hasn't been pretty but so far we sit 4 pts clear at the top of the league, semi final of a cup and if we win our next European game against Sparta should be in the knockout stages of Europe for the 3rd year running, we are not having as bad a season as you suggest but hopefully GvB will get us back playing more attractive football again.
