Our cup record is embarrassing and we need to put that right I'm hoping the shift in mentality apparent since patkhead is on show for rest of season if it is well win a league and Cup double.

I agree that was under SG it was one of the things he failed at time and time again.

Hopefully under gio the record gets better but the league has to be the priority given the riches it brings.

The cups are old hat, meaningless in the big financial picture, and not worth the risk of injury to first team players. For the next few seasons at least, it should be league/ Europe, league/ Europe for us. Let others have the rags.
