Reading a lot of the comments on here by the looks of it we all agree that it's not if gio is sacked it's when now for me the team has went back the way we are slow can't defend and all round poor to watch even when we win just out of curiosity a would like to see who other fans would like as manager to replace gio.

Last season GvB was the greatest since sliced bread. This season things not going as we would like it to go and now GvB is the worst manager we have had. I despair with some of the posters on here. I am not going to say he has done this or he has done that. We have no devine right, as some seem to think, to win all and sundry.

Bluetoon all fans are entitled to there opinion on the club after all the fans are the ones who put in there hard earned money and unfortunately when things turn bad for a manager no matter what they have done people will question if they are right for the job and its only right can't go on with a manager who maybe can't take us to the level we need to be at to win cups and leagues.

No one has called Gio the worst we have ever had.

The issue is we look awful wether we win, lose or draw. Very few performances this season you would call as acceptable and something is off colour right through the club.

Can we win the league? Technically yes. Will we win the league on current evidence? Not on your nelly. And if we aren't winning the league then questions definitely deserve to be asked.

I've never read on here that Gio is the worst manager Rangers have ever had.

Blutoon, it happens all the time. Mangers are lauded as the best thing ever, but it can go bad at anytime. It's happened to much better managers than Gio. And at Rangers, it's happened to much bigger legends than him too.
This excuse we have no devine right to beat anyone, in theory is correct, but when a team packed with players, some costing more than the poorest of oppositions whole squad, are struggling against them, then fans have every right to criticise. If you want to stay silent, feel free, but the majority will never sit back and take this crap.

Most on here sat back and took the crap under Gerrard for long periods and made every excuse going.

You never sat back coldo. If you're honest with yourself (that's a laugh), you were one of the main antagonists on here calling for Gerrard's head not long into his tenure.
The difference between Gerrard and Gio in the league, is that Gerrard had the tims number from early on, whereas, Gio doesn't, and doesn't look as If he ever will.
Gio done amazingly well getting us to the EL final, and delivering the SC (both with Gerrard's squad), but he blew a big lead in the league by continuing to play the wrong team, and deploying the wrong tactics, and so far this season, he still hasn't got it right.
Gio is never going to get the same time as Gerrard. Gio will either walk soon, or he'll be told to go. I don't want it, and even though he's made many mistakes in the league, he has been let down with recruitment, and certain players playing with their head up their arses, or not being good enough. 2 of them you are a very vocal fanboy of. If you think Kent is cutting it, or Arfield is good enough to start every game, then you know very little.

Baxter one well informed poster wrote that off Gio a few days before Dortmund game.

Gio inherited a team going nowhere and had just been pumped by hibs in the cup semi? If Gio had been backed in January particularly with a Striker like Colak we would have won the league?. The striker we had couldn't hit a barn door from 5 yards?.

Agree Neil, too many can't see past Alfie, for me personally, I want him away as he has shown no respect to us fans with his antics. As you say he is at the stage where he doesn't look like scoring nowadays, our big mistake was not selling these players when we could have got good money for the, Alfie, Kent, Kamara, as no one else appeared to want Conor Goldson we just gave him a rise in wages for being crap.

I don't think that we should get Gio. out. He should be given some more time.
I think that he could benefit from some help and guidance and would love to have Souness come and be the one to assist him.
