16 year old Blackpool player Weston signing, 250k.

Snell

1.) 29 Jul 2020 16:11:51
Not the one we were all hoping for!

2.) 29 Jul 2020 16:13:21
OMG WE NEED SEASONED PROS THIS YEAR OF ALL YEARS MAN.

3.) 29 Jul 2020 16:15:45
Bar why not.

4.) 29 Jul 2020 16:17:12
Totaly agree wonder if were that skint or loaded if we can spend on a 16 year old that's no good fur 1st team this year.

5.) 29 Jul 2020 16:22:32
A good signing.
He may be young but has already played in the first team and was being chased by several Premier League teams and ones from the English Championship.
We got him because due to different regulations, English teams couldn’t sign him until September.

6.) 29 Jul 2020 16:23:05
Guys I’df Weston signs good business, we can’t take eye of future.
Leeds, Everton and Southampton all want him.
Signing this lad has no impact on bringing in first team players.

7.) 29 Jul 2020 16:33:39
Hell stay for 2 year then head bk up the road home sick watch this space.

8.) 29 Jul 2020 16:42:27
look i am sorry to be the one to point this out, trust me i am, but no matter this years outcome we do have future seasons we will be playing in. we have one academy going and another to come in.

9.) 29 Jul 2020 17:03:23
Absolutely embarrassing that clown Stewart Robertson says in an interview trust us with your money it will be reinvested in team our signings ate an embarrassment free transfers young boys who are nowhere near readyy for the intensity of playing for our club outwith signing of Hagi this has been a shambles so far and I don't care that transfer window still has lot of time to go we play sheep on Saturday and we are in no better shape than last season so how is that any progress it's not there hasn't been a statement signing it's not good enough and we are virtually giving them 10 in a row without them having to do a thing shameful.

10.) 29 Jul 2020 17:04:59
great what a window so far 4 bench warmers and a 16 year old celtic must be crapping them selfs.

11.) 29 Jul 2020 17:12:58
Exactly Eric some people just don’t think before posting or they really are just that stupid.

12.) 29 Jul 2020 17:35:42
Peter all I’d say is give the lad a chance. He has played ONE minute for Blackpool first team.
U r right a few wanted him.

13.) 29 Jul 2020 17:36:49
Stick least you made me laugh with that rant.

14.) 29 Jul 2020 17:40:21
Alot of seasons are still wrapping up or just finished don't expect signings till mid August. Players are on player breaks.

15.) 29 Jul 2020 17:59:23
Good signing, the young lad is said to be a prospect. Welcome to the famous Glasgow Rangers Weston.

16.) 29 Jul 2020 18:23:05
John25, I have already said on here we won't spend until we get money in from Fred or Barisic. I understand that, however this announcement to me, at this time, 3 days b4 the league starts, either to get55 or to stop their 9.75, is embarrassing. Its another Academy player, we won't see in a first team Jersey.

17.) 29 Jul 2020 18:33:30
Well bar that’s life. If the boy develops he will get a game.
If our club embarrass u, u don’t need to support them.

I don’t agree we won’t spend before we sell.

18.) 29 Jul 2020 18:46:36
Folk moaning we need Statement signings, the majority of top leagues have literally just finished. Players will get a week or so off before reporting back for the start of next campaigns. The C.V. issues have totally changed the way the summer window will work this season, hence why it’s been extended to October! The only players you were likely to get in over June/ July were free transfers or pre agreements. You’re never getting a marque signing in before the SPFL starts, teams aren’t wanting to sell their ‘statement’ players whilst their seasons are not finished. I’d rather wait a few weeks for a top player than panic into signing Cosgrove or Shankland. It’s far from ideal but due to the circumstances it’s the way it must be. Need to be a bit more patient guys.

19.) 29 Jul 2020 18:47:49
So because the lad is 16 everyone assumes we are wasting our money. He has already made his first team debut. Ok won't push 1st team for maybe couple seasons but if we develop him into another morelos that's a lot of profit. Just now including him we have at least 4 cracking young strikers coming through. Look at Ajax they bring top talent into their youth academy, bring the players on to 1st team level then sell on for huge profits. Great business model if you ask me and 1 we should have been using for years. Who was the last player we got decent money for?

20.) 29 Jul 2020 18:47:56
I actually think this is a great signing another cracking young talent picking Rangers football club above other top flight English teams

Read about him a few months back and a lot of talent scouts said the boy is going to have a bright future ahead of him

No matter what will get profit from this after hopefully he progresses into a great young player for us

We obviously have money to spend

And I’m sure the first team players the club wants will be here soon

Wow what have I been drinking tonight - surprised myself when I read that back how positive it was 😛😂😂😂

SERIOUSLY though I’m glad we got him it’s a positive guys trust me.

21.) 29 Jul 2020 19:28:14
Yes it is positive the lad seems to have picked us, allegedly from same street gerrard was brought up in.
Grew up watching some of Sg career.

22.) 29 Jul 2020 19:35:36
We are just replacing the youths like Kai Kennedy etc that will be leaving with boys that want to be at rangers and 250k is a hell of a lot for a free agent cross border transfer would probably be between the 3-5 million mark in England great business if you ask me give him a 2 year deal with the club getting a option for another 2 year add on in 18month that’s the way it should be done that way in 18 months if he’s good we can put another 2 year on his contract and protect or investment.

23.) 29 Jul 2020 19:47:32
That’s a few good young talented players we have now with the likes of

James Graham we signed back in June
Now tony Weston coming up
Charlie Lindsay signed a 3 year professional contract from our youth ranks, heard Gerrard really rates the lad
Along with rest that are already here McPake, Mebude, Paterson, Kai, Mayo to name a few

At least the young squad is looking good

If we can get zunga and a striker for main squad I’ll be happy.

24.) 29 Jul 2020 19:50:39
I might be wrong but there's rumours of the boy Nathan Young Coombes going to waste ham! Maybe softens the blow getting the boy from Blackpool! Absolutely have to demand the right money for our kids but if we can and also a big sell on clause!

25.) 29 Jul 2020 19:51:35
We're signing and already have lots of young talent at the club, but they never get a chance. Every club in England, Portugal and Spain are fielding first teams with an average of 3 players under twenty years old. Should Patterson be in for tav, when our glorious captain admits he can't handle the pressure? Maybe a youngster can. Could he be any worse? Now we're going to be signing another midfielder too. We have about ten defenders now, sixteen midfielders and only Defoe, crocked, alfredo, off as soon as he can and Murphy or Barker, both not trusted by Gerrard as forwards. Am I the only one scratching my head.

26.) 29 Jul 2020 19:52:55
Securing Weston is a major plus. The boy has been attracting interest from EPL Sides like Leeds United. As for not being ready for the first team, although I am sure that we have signed him for the future I remember a young lad, Derek Johnstone, making his debut for us at 16, wouldn't mind DJ back in the team now! No one is disagreeing that we need new players especially a striker and a quality midfield player and Gerrard has already highlighted the need for more players. The European Leagues don't open their Transfer Windows until mid August. We can start worrying if we haven't signed two or three quality players by August month end.

27.) 29 Jul 2020 19:55:20
Too many doom and gloom merchants lol BAR honestly mate of this bothers you that much I think football isn’t for you.

28.) 29 Jul 2020 19:59:03
Hopefully Mirko Marik does a really top job by scoring a lot of goals
and I would love to see SG getting Adrian grbic from Clermont in France to team up with marik at rangers.

29.) 29 Jul 2020 20:01:58
Rossco that is just hyperbole mate. Could pull up within two minutes a team in those league that doesn't apply too.

30.) 29 Jul 2020 22:21:53
Rossco can you name the sixteen midfielders we have. Please be realistic about ones who may play and don’t call our wingers midfielders.

31.) 29 Jul 2020 22:53:55
Nathan Young Coombes Under contract till end of june 2021 so if West Ham want him 1-2million plus 20 percent sell on imagine if he was at West Ham youths they would prob want between 5-10mil just cause it’s the epl

We need to stop letting player leave for nothing.

32.) 30 Jul 2020 06:24:02
Young-Coombes going to west ham?

15 Jul 2020 12:53:38
Question around the Kai rumours, press story says he was sent back to the academy last week. He appeared with the first team on a training video from a few days ago though? Wonder if the press are inflating the story. Wouldn't be like them eh?!

Snell

1.) 15 Jul 2020 13:17:26
playing time demands and bad advice. he's off.

2.) 15 Jul 2020 15:46:09
I take it you’re the agent for him Eric?

3.) 15 Jul 2020 16:10:38
Yup saw that Snell. Was wondering the same.

4.) 16 Jul 2020 13:24:16
Young reporter is a very good friend of mine, he says kal has asked for very little more than the 2grand he has been offered to stay, he has been offered 10 from Bayern and city, pathetic from rangers.

03 Jun 2020 13:09:12
Hope i am picking this up wrong but sky have announced deal with SPFL and agreed to offset cost of lost games over five years. Is this the ten mill we warned of splitting out? If so it's a disgrace that 17 of top leagues in Europe try play to a finish, ours pushed to end to give that lot a title that the rest of the league end up picking up the tab for!

Snell

1.) 03 Jun 2020 14:01:38
Corrupt to the core

Even estonia belerus etc are back finishing there season as well as german danish polish started english italian spanish etc due to restart.

2.) 03 Jun 2020 14:05:31
Now as i said to my mate if old firm game was played and it was cut to 10 points would they still have stopped season?

YES probarly as there too many related to smell tic on board
New board should be appointed to spfl and you can not have or been conected to anyone ever who is connected to any football club.

3.) 03 Jun 2020 14:39:14
Think that sky deal also means season ticket holders will get to stream home games.

4.) 03 Jun 2020 15:31:38
Excellent point believable! we paid for cfc title! …… any regime change of any kind now required in Scotland?

5.) 03 Jun 2020 15:49:32
It’s rumoured they agree the settlement was £1.5m to be paid over 5 years.

6.) 03 Jun 2020 15:54:47
There should have been an investigation into why they acted so quickly and with gusto to end the season, but if Rangers dropped it and nobody else cared about anything but money it shows Scottish football is finished and has no soul nor credibility, unfortunately we are stuck here, that’s the big problem now.

7.) 03 Jun 2020 16:26:07
1.5 mill, where did the 10 mill being banded about a few weeks ago come from?

8.) 03 Jun 2020 17:28:02
same place as a few weeks ago up doncasters jacksie.

9.) 03 Jun 2020 17:56:45
Gers fans should boycott all away games and let them all suffer more why buy tickets to fill other clubs bank accounts etc when we buy season ticket etc for ibrox only giving our hard earned cash just to our own club.

10.) 03 Jun 2020 18:50:58
I’m really starting to believe that not giving them my money is the way to go, never really thought that before, but if we carry on then it stays as it is, they take rangers fans cash, which remember many like me have already paid on sky/ bt, for away games,

11.) 03 Jun 2020 21:07:21
Mentioning other countries starting back now is pointless as Scotland is still 6 weeks away from being able to restart. That is not the spfl or Celtics fault it is due to Scotland being behind on the recovery and our health advisors holding things up in restarting. All these other countries leagues will be completed before we are given all clear to play a match. It’s Boris and Nicola who are to blame for this mess more than football clubs/ authorities. ( why didn’t they shut things down when Europe was realising the problem)

12.) 03 Jun 2020 21:13:49
You really couldn’t make this up. The money the clubs will lose due to ending the league early will be a lot more than it’ll cost for testing. Doncaster will get praise when he should be sacked for this.

If the virtual ticket is covered within the three season tickets I’ve renewed and Rangers are the only beneficiaries then I’ll live with it. If Sky or the SPFL, in particular, get a share where they wouldn’t normally then it’ll be a disgrace.

Well done Mr Lawwell, your minions doing your bidding have cost all clubs just to keep your bonus in tact.

13.) 04 Jun 2020 07:24:05
Once again we jump in. It’s 1.5 million a year for next five years. Total 7.5 million.
Those who look to the past and the present miss the future.
It’s all about next season.

14.) 04 Jun 2020 09:55:12
I’ve been saying this to fans for long enough now, any away games we should boycott in the Scottish leagues, starve them all of our money.
We get behind our own team financially, rest of next season once we allowed bk and the next again, this is the only way to show our strength. Wee need fan groups etc to spread the news.
I’m a season ticket holder, and have not been to an away game since 2012.

15.) 04 Jun 2020 10:50:26
Is that right though John? BBC have it as £1.5m over 5 seasons?

16.) 04 Jun 2020 11:42:07
I’m all for boycotting away grounds.1,000 tickets only for away games.
Think of this St Johnston alone made £450,000 from us attending their shed.
Why pay for them to survive when they hate us.
Pay Rangers tv to watch away games.

17.) 04 Jun 2020 11:56:39
Jim 1972, for the sake of accuracy, had our wee nicola told everyone the truth about nike conference in late February, lockdown would have been much earlier and many lives saved, fact not rumour.

18.) 04 Jun 2020 13:21:01
dont forget lads our club agreed to end the season we didn't so that put the ball back in the court.

19.) 04 Jun 2020 13:24:30
1.5 mill to sky who will make money off the season ticket plan plus there is also 4.5 that was due to BT apparently? Is it right the sponsor is now sky too?

20.) 04 Jun 2020 13:36:59
No way we are 6 weeks away from restarting. No way.

21.) 04 Jun 2020 14:17:50
John25, £7.5 million or £10 million, the point is the same pal. This is money that was only made known to clubs after they voted for the resolution to end the three lower leagues. My point is that whilst Doncaster may have reached agreement to amortise payments over 5 years, he will be made out as some sort of saviour in certain circles for doing so.

What about the lack of a sponsor?

22.) 04 Jun 2020 15:49:14
It doesn't say 1.5 mill per year for 5 years, it says 1.5 OVER 5 years
Is it just me!

23.) 04 Jun 2020 18:09:50
He who hears cool, I take u back to April when I wrote it was all being done too quick as Liewell knew uefa plans
We were shafted, can’t change it now so need to concentrate all efforts on winning it next year.

25 Apr 2020 13:56:49
Rumours on a West ham gossip page that they are eyeing up Robby McCrorie as an investment in the goalkeeping department.

Snell

1.) 25 Apr 2020 14:31:17
Yep see it in papers. He should be our future. Boy will go on to have an excellent career for club and country.
Spurs also keeping tabs on him.

2.) 25 Apr 2020 16:12:32
He’s better away as StevieG won’t give him a sniff😎.

3.) 25 Apr 2020 19:03:50
Shagger is getting on, another season max? Mccrorie would be an ideal replacement. Really hope he stays.

4.) 25 Apr 2020 19:46:39
This is going to annoy some folk as it does me. McGregor still made some fantastic saves this season but he is also failing to make saves that was bread and butter to him. I think at times he was being a bit scrappy with his kick outs, maybe that was down to frustration. He's still a magnificent goal keeper but he won't last forever. So for me the boy McRorrie looks good as a future replacement.

5.) 25 Apr 2020 21:50:05
I'd agree The Stuck. Would like to see him integrate into the squad, as second rotation maybe? Better on loan than third choice but if he gets the odd cup game etc for us I'd be happy.

6.) 25 Apr 2020 23:53:20
We'd be silly to let him go! Greegs is approaching the end.

7.) 26 Apr 2020 05:26:14
The boy is a class act in the making. Reminds me of chris woods.

8.) 26 Apr 2020 10:04:53
Surely it’s time for McCrorie to become number 2 and part of 1st team squad. If he earns chance to be number 1 from cup games, training performances, injuries or suspensions to Shagger then it’s up to him to prove he should be our number 1.
It will be good training with Shagger on a daily basis and like most we probably expect next season to be his last and we will have McCrorie read to step in.

9.) 28 Apr 2020 09:09:05
Can’t see Foderingham sitting on our bench another full season, I was surprised he stayed in January.

10.) 28 Apr 2020 13:51:29
McCrorie is going nowhere. Gerrard and the staff see him as McGregor's natural replacement, maybe even within a year. Remember Greegs himself went out on loan to prepare for first team duties.

24 Aug 2018 08:31:17
Stevie G and Mark Allen are actively looking for a new winger to replace Murphy, don't know if its loan or perm signing.

Source is mate who had a meeting with them cancelled this week due to them needing to work on it.

Snell

1.) 24 Aug 2018 09:19:49
That would be ideal, think all the extra pennies from this European run will be helping give us the option of more transfers!

I see the express are reporting that Celtic are now interested in Joe Worrall. Makes me wonder if their super duper scouting department and years of pre planning in that regard is actually a pile of dug meat when in fact they will just copy us! 😜.

2.) 24 Aug 2018 11:07:23
Wee_bear, . Wouldn't be the first time.

3.) 24 Aug 2018 12:11:29
Yip been going for years gers after christie miller (when at hibs) etc the jumped in too there scouting system must be safe money on it just follow rangers and try get who there after as everyone knows rangers only sign THE BEST players.

4.) 24 Aug 2018 14:29:41
Snell, the gaffer has already said it will be a central defender and that's his business done.

5.) 24 Aug 2018 14:59:25
i don't see the need to panick about murphy we have arfield kent middleton lafferty tavernier candieas who can ALL PLAY WIDE POSITIONS. centre back a must for cover and suspensions. and if we keep signing folk what's point of youth system that produces nobody when we could funnel the money into one decent squad player.

6.) 25 Aug 2018 12:48:53
dutycalls, he may had said that to the press but can assure you that's what he was doing on Tuesday. Whether something comes of it or not we will need to wait and see!

7.) 25 Aug 2018 13:46:37
You can assure me? How can you do that? Are you a confidant of SG or Mark Allen? Maybe you're a board member in disguise? The manager said it, I believe him, and I'll give your 'assurances' a miss, thanks.

8.) 25 Aug 2018 13:59:45
im not a personal confidant of either mate, however the guy who told me the story was personally meeting SG that day, hence why i choose to believe it.

Silly me for posting Rangers info on a rumours page though 🤔 You can believe what you want but if you are going to crap your knickers so much over something you read on the internet then you probably should get out more 👍.

9.) 25 Aug 2018 17:08:40
Read on the internet? Gerrard stated it in an interview! At least that's believable, unlike your 'pal' fantasy.

Well played today Gers. Also well done Gers fans because we might disagree when things don't go our way but we carry ourselves with infinitely more class than that lot. One rough patch and they are rabid animals. Proud to be a bear for so many reasons.

Snell

1.) 29 Nov 2020 21:34:22
Absolutely, we've had 8 yrs worth of problems and they've had 8 weeks and that's how they behave - disgraceful.

2.) 29 Nov 2020 22:14:57
They're a joke. If I was Lennon I'd spend some of my 10000 pounds a week on getting my yellow teeth fixed. Just a suggestion. Then looking for a job in Turkey or arabstan.

Over the last six games, Rangers are the club side with the best form in THE WORLD. 🎉🎊🎉🎊.

Snell

1.) 23 Nov 2020 20:24:26
That's interesting Snell. 😉
I'd never have thought of that.
Long may it continue. 👍

One swallow does not a summer make.

3.) 23 Nov 2020 22:17:08
Agreed Bankie, let's hope this form continues through and into the new year.

4.) 23 Nov 2020 23:58:39
Stop the count XD.

5.) 24 Nov 2020 00:24:12
Long as deecee stops posting about 55 everyday, long long way to go, , and Rangers were flying last Xmas, so much so they were favourites to win the league, and some fans had already bought the 55 scarves, , i'm sure gerards got that at the back of his head and will keep it hatched down for the foreseeable.

6.) 24 Nov 2020 01:36:44
The Glenbuck Cherrypickers once went 125 games undefeated, in the Glenbuck and district world championships, played in, Glenbuck, every Sunday when the shearing was done and the cherries had been destoned and pickled in syrup, they're only Defeat, a closely contested cup semi finals match against Glenbuck Cherrypickers BC, went to penalties after the BC couldn't stay out any longer as it was Monday the next day and the goalkeepers mum was up early for her shift at the big house, and it was getting dark, , after a thrilling game the Glenbuck Cherrypickers were finally defeated by 32-31, and the Glenbuck Cherrypickers BC went on to international glory, beating the Inter Milanda Nursery in the old fairs Cup, leading to Milanda calling for the European governing body to disqualify the Cherrypickers BC, for no other reason than they got beat, and they claimed at least 5 Bc players were showing signs of having illicit pocket money, its no fairs was they're call, they wrote letters, in crayon, to everyone from the head nursery teacher and the jannie, to the head of skool uniforms, claiming the Cherrypickers had worn undeclared strips and they also claimed an ice cream van had deliberately set its chimes off when they were taking a penalty but failed to mention that 4 Cherrypickers men ran off to get a cone and a bottle of ginger before returning and sharing a fag with half the milanda team, the strip situation was explained by the Glenbuck Cherrypickers board that they had originally declared they're strips as being manufactured by New Balance, but they were changed to Castore, after they're former star midfielder and board member SuperCooper had got mixed up with all the deals being done every Friday, , and so the Cherrypickers went on to become Legendary, in Glenbuck and the surrounding area, and they still talk of the good old days down the Glenbuck and surrounding area social club, known in the local area as the GASAS, club, , a true story, honest.

7.) 24 Nov 2020 07:17:48
Tom, you ok?

8.) 24 Nov 2020 07:53:19
Morphine mode, but I began to believe it,

9.) 24 Nov 2020 07:58:53
Tomthumb. Before you phone your GP to make an appointment (which I suggest you do) you cannot compare last season or the season before with this season. This Rangers squad is strong, deep and are flying in every game. If we are still at least 14 points ahead in January after the Celtic game then we WILL win #55. We are a totally different kettle of fish this season. Good luck with your appointment. Psychologists can do wonders nowadays.

10.) 24 Nov 2020 08:18:54
Thanks very much for your concern and your advice Doiger, now please use your obvious intellect how and why “ you can’t compare last years team with this years “, that’s a very strange concept isn’t it, can I compare last years Xmas with this years? Or last seasons European champions with this years? Or indeed last Sunday’s steak pie with the one I had 3 months ago, the simple answer to all of that, is quite obviously “ YES” I can compare them, and everything else, now explain in your own words again, why I “ can’t “ compare? Il hold off on the doctor advice thanks.

11.) 24 Nov 2020 08:19:50
And btw doiger, I never at any time compared the team to last years did I?

12.) 24 Nov 2020 08:36:29
The key for me on this season's squad to last season's squad is from the bench now, we can replace quality with quality 👌 That for me will make the difference this season, along with the tweak of the system, where gerrard has our players interchanging constantly, making it hard for the opposition to mark 👍
The players are playing the system superbly and without shouting its over, because its not, or anything like that, this is why i do fancy us to win the league title this season 👍🙏.

13.) 24 Nov 2020 08:46:03
Important question Tom. Which steak pie was better? 🤤.

14.) 24 Nov 2020 08:55:39
You might as well have compared a 3-month old steak pie to previous Rangers teams as the comparison is similar. Good luck mate. It is only banter.

15.) 24 Nov 2020 09:25:07
Nobody compared anything, I simply said it was far too early for talking of 55: it was you who jumped in, but yes you’re right, it’s banter,

Great steak pie in Blackadders, maryhill rd, expensive but good, and in muirhead.

16.) 24 Nov 2020 09:26:54
That was pure funny as fck.

17.) 24 Nov 2020 09:56:23
I'll take over from Deecee.
55 incoming!
We're a totally different side from last year.
Defensively tight at the back.
Scoring goals from all over the park.
Quality on the bench.
Playing some lovely football.

18.) 24 Nov 2020 10:32:33

24.) 24 Nov 2020 23:39:58
Briangersfan, I'm sure Shorts were taken over by Brownings of Kilmarnock. I agree about their pies, we used to come out the Ritz Ballroom in Irvine at 1am, and get a roll with a mine and onion pie on, delicious.

Reading the points re: Leeds and if they are a big club, thought it would make an interesting discussion- what do you guys consider the criteria for a big club?

It's all about opinions, so thought an interesting discussion!

For me it comes down to worldwide reputation and fan base- I personally wouldn't qualify Newcastle for example (sorry coop! ) As the majority of the fans are all local.

Outside that, it's consistent success over a short/ medium history. Say last 20/ 30 years. Just my thoughts though, what about you guys?

Snell

1.) 18 Nov 2020 16:45:41
Snell, Newcastle are a massive club mate, and what you talking about “ the majority of their fans are local” so are every other clubs majority of fans local, there are many Geordie fans abroad, a big club is simple really. It’s the size of the club and the obvious amount of fans, there’s plenty of big clubs win nothing for years, but if they’re big, they’re big, successful is a different story,

2.) 18 Nov 2020 16:58:38
That's the point Tom, everyone can have their own interpretation! I can see Doiger got in there and posted similar 🤣

I wouldn't personally class Newcastle as a proper big club, but that's my point. All up for debate mate!

3.) 18 Nov 2020 22:25:51
Well if you don't qualify Newcastle as a big club, try buying them, ?

4.) 19 Nov 2020 08:55:58
Not sure what that even means mate 🤣.

06 Oct 2020 15:59:27
Danny welbeck released by Watford and available on a free. Discuss 😜.

Snell

1.) 06 Oct 2020 16:17:53
What again?

2.) 06 Oct 2020 16:35:18
Is there maybe a reason this guy can't get a club?

3.) 06 Oct 2020 17:15:22
He gets clubs easy mate Bar72. His problem is he never lasts there more than a season 🤣 sure he is only 28 or something, madness- feels like he has been about forever!

4.) 06 Oct 2020 17:21:49
His nick name should be sicknote he is always injured.

5.) 06 Oct 2020 18:34:34
Danny unwellbeck?

6.) 06 Oct 2020 19:04:44
He must have the worlds best agent. He always finds a good club on big money!

7.) 06 Oct 2020 21:50:33

When you have a second Google Arluno Calcio, a wee team in the Italian 8th tier.

Does their badge look familiar lads? Think I have now found an Italian team to cheer on!

Snell

1.) 05 Oct 2020 11:16:50
Just looked that up snell that is our badge is that not a breach of copyright surely?

2.) 05 Oct 2020 11:17:55
Italy have an 8th tier. Fs. Is it under 13s.

3.) 05 Oct 2020 11:56:27
I wonder if big Amo designed their new logo for them. It's very impressive.

4.) 05 Oct 2020 12:21:41
Fair point Rangers. Never thought of that.

Couldn't get Google translate to work so not sure but think they were founded in 2010. Wonder if it's maybe some Gers fan ex pat's?

5.) 05 Oct 2020 12:25:23
*Raymgers.

6.) 05 Oct 2020 18:54:02
Seen it before, don’t think it’s copyright.

Hearing from Celtic Da's on Twitter! Don't worry sweep mate, it's all guff. The club know they would be hung out to dry if they attempted a cover up.

I read your full post Davie. Still doesn't mean it makes any sense. No one would pay 50 mill for him, we would be a striker down for a crucial season and what does it do his value if he flops?

Also, see my point about release clauses it's irrelevant adding one on for that fee and they are to benefit a player not the club.

The point is right that we have submitted our squad for group stages. Only issue for Wilshire is does that not mean every club has? So euro football won't happen for him regardless of where he ends up?

People misunderstand the benefit of buy out clauses. They are there to protect a player by agreeing a fee we will definitely accept. Why would the club need one? If we value a player at a certain price it doesn't need a buy out clauses, we can always set that as our asking price. Seen it a few times on here now.

Thanks for getting back to me Kirkcaldy Loyal, least you stick to your guns mate!

In terms of Wilshire, would only want him on the pay as you play a lot are suggesting but imagine he will have other offers in England so might not be keen.

West ham fans saying they paid him off with three million apparently? So maybe money won't be the driver for him!

What's your thoughts mate?

It's not the size of the donation that counts mate, the measure of the man is when he can still show generosity and consideration to others when he himself is facing challenging times.

Hope you and the family have a brilliant Christmas mate.
