Rumours on a West ham gossip page that they are eyeing up Robby McCrorie as an investment in the goalkeeping department.

1.) 25 Apr 2020 14:31:17
Yep see it in papers. He should be our future. Boy will go on to have an excellent career for club and country.
Spurs also keeping tabs on him.

2.) 25 Apr 2020 16:12:32
He’s better away as StevieG won’t give him a sniff😎.

3.) 25 Apr 2020 19:03:50
Shagger is getting on, another season max? Mccrorie would be an ideal replacement. Really hope he stays.

4.) 25 Apr 2020 19:46:39
This is going to annoy some folk as it does me. McGregor still made some fantastic saves this season but he is also failing to make saves that was bread and butter to him. I think at times he was being a bit scrappy with his kick outs, maybe that was down to frustration. He's still a magnificent goal keeper but he won't last forever. So for me the boy McRorrie looks good as a future replacement.

5.) 25 Apr 2020 21:50:05
I'd agree The Stuck. Would like to see him integrate into the squad, as second rotation maybe? Better on loan than third choice but if he gets the odd cup game etc for us I'd be happy.

6.) 25 Apr 2020 23:53:20
We'd be silly to let him go! Greegs is approaching the end.

7.) 26 Apr 2020 05:26:14
The boy is a class act in the making. Reminds me of chris woods.

8.) 26 Apr 2020 10:04:53
Surely it’s time for McCrorie to become number 2 and part of 1st team squad. If he earns chance to be number 1 from cup games, training performances, injuries or suspensions to Shagger then it’s up to him to prove he should be our number 1.
It will be good training with Shagger on a daily basis and like most we probably expect next season to be his last and we will have McCrorie read to step in.

9.) 28 Apr 2020 09:09:05
Can’t see Foderingham sitting on our bench another full season, I was surprised he stayed in January.

10.) 28 Apr 2020 13:51:29
McCrorie is going nowhere. Gerrard and the staff see him as McGregor's natural replacement, maybe even within a year. Remember Greegs himself went out on loan to prepare for first team duties.

24 Aug 2018 08:31:17
Stevie G and Mark Allen are actively looking for a new winger to replace Murphy, don't know if its loan or perm signing.

Source is mate who had a meeting with them cancelled this week due to them needing to work on it.

1.) 24 Aug 2018 09:19:49
That would be ideal, think all the extra pennies from this European run will be helping give us the option of more transfers!

I see the express are reporting that Celtic are now interested in Joe Worrall. Makes me wonder if their super duper scouting department and years of pre planning in that regard is actually a pile of dug meat when in fact they will just copy us! 😜.

2.) 24 Aug 2018 11:07:23
Wee_bear, . Wouldn't be the first time.

3.) 24 Aug 2018 12:11:29
Yip been going for years gers after christie miller (when at hibs) etc the jumped in too there scouting system must be safe money on it just follow rangers and try get who there after as everyone knows rangers only sign THE BEST players.

4.) 24 Aug 2018 14:29:41
Snell, the gaffer has already said it will be a central defender and that's his business done.

5.) 24 Aug 2018 14:59:25
i don't see the need to panick about murphy we have arfield kent middleton lafferty tavernier candieas who can ALL PLAY WIDE POSITIONS. centre back a must for cover and suspensions. and if we keep signing folk what's point of youth system that produces nobody when we could funnel the money into one decent squad player.

6.) 25 Aug 2018 12:48:53
dutycalls, he may had said that to the press but can assure you that's what he was doing on Tuesday. Whether something comes of it or not we will need to wait and see!

7.) 25 Aug 2018 13:46:37
You can assure me? How can you do that? Are you a confidant of SG or Mark Allen? Maybe you're a board member in disguise? The manager said it, I believe him, and I'll give your 'assurances' a miss, thanks.

8.) 25 Aug 2018 13:59:45
im not a personal confidant of either mate, however the guy who told me the story was personally meeting SG that day, hence why i choose to believe it.

Silly me for posting Rangers info on a rumours page though 🤔 You can believe what you want but if you are going to crap your knickers so much over something you read on the internet then you probably should get out more 👍.

9.) 25 Aug 2018 17:08:40
Read on the internet? Gerrard stated it in an interview! At least that's believable, unlike your 'pal' fantasy.

20 Apr 2018 13:45:44
What is everyone's thoughts on the Alistair Johnston statement?

Said we are ahead of schedule and if we keep backing the club as we have then we will hopefully see success. Also commented that a decision on Murty hasn't been finalised.

Shows how either out of touch or blatantly arrogant the board are for me.

1.) 20 Apr 2018 14:29:22
On field with the funds made available by the board we should have a better product on the park so I think we are behind in that department. Off the park I think we are making progress in terms of strips, sponsorship commercial deals etc although I still worried a wee bit about our board, more concerned about James traynor and s Robertsons roles

2.) 20 Apr 2018 14:30:12
I think he as made it at a strange time, almost to prepare fans for a 3rd place finish by saying its still progress!

The board have some serious decisions to make in the next few weeks, and it will be an interesting watch.

3.) 20 Apr 2018 15:55:19
He’s chosen his words correctly in the sense that he says we are ahead of where we were 5 years ago. Unfortunately that doesn’t wash with the poor manager / player recruitment over the last couple of seasons. The next managerial appointment is critical for the board to keep the fans onside and that we are finally heading in the right direction.

4.) 20 Apr 2018 15:56:49
Im sure leanne dempster isn't saying that hibs are ahead of the curve. They'll be saying that's exactly where they expect to be. Why would we settle for anything other than a proper title challange.

5.) 20 Apr 2018 16:45:37
UJ, I admit that I haven't read the full statement, but when you use a term like "ahead of the curve" you are implying that you are doing better at this point in time than you expected; not that you are doing better than you were five years ago.
If he thinks that we are doing better than they expected, they must have started out with pretty low expectations.

6.) 20 Apr 2018 17:08:23
Traynor left rangers year's ago

7.) 20 Apr 2018 17:21:41
Union Jack

Would have to disagree that he has been clever with his words as since the interview he has been openly ridiculed on every social media site and media outlets.

8.) 20 Apr 2018 17:30:44
Regarding my above post about traynor I was told he was still employed much to my horror . thankfully as Marco c says this was not the case

9.) 21 Apr 2018 11:13:25
Marco C Traynors company Level 5 media are still
doing Rangers PR and media and he is still found in Auchenhowie on occasion. I saw him last week whilst picking stuff up from Ross McC.

10.) 21 Apr 2018 11:15:15
Level 5 is owned by Walter Smith and Murdo McLeod also.

11.) 21 Apr 2018 11:20:13
bgate w Jim Traynor and level 5 media ARE still at Rangers. Traynor has NOT left he still has a role.

23 Mar 2018 18:13:05
Niko gone, contract terminated by mutual consent.

1.) 23 Mar 2018 18:56:35
Said in February he would go before April. Heading back to the USA

14 Nov 2017 13:51:33
Ally McCoist being considered for the Sunderland job 😮 i heard league one has some brilliant away days.

1.) 14 Nov 2017 15:27:51
Anybody putting money on McCoist must literally zip up the back.

2.) 14 Nov 2017 17:52:46
Mccoist is a legend support your own

3.) 14 Nov 2017 19:07:11
legendary player. god awful football manager.

4.) 14 Nov 2017 23:43:47
Super ally rangers legend and always will be

5.) 15 Nov 2017 09:01:44
Mccoist was an amazing player and a very unlucky manager. Remember we were top of the league, had beaten the dhims and then meltdown happened and it was an impossible task for anyone to control and cheeky chappy I believe to an extent was used as a scape goat first by whyte then green and then blamed by the support. Shameful behaviour against a man who loves rangers like the rest of us.

6.) 15 Nov 2017 10:44:01
honestly to judge the man as amanager when he was at rangers is just rediculous.

he stayed when no one else would have with all the stuff going on in the backround.

he got us through 3 devisions and left when everyone was shouting for his head.

i would like to see what he could do at a club without all of this turmoil going on ion the backround.

i know sunderland are hardly that club but they are not as bad off as we where

7.) 15 Nov 2017 13:07:29
True pedz, I think all must have learned something from walter smith about management. I hope wee ally does wellwherever he end up.

8.) 15 Nov 2017 16:05:24
he got us through 3 divisipns that my dead granny could have ped mate 😂 my memory of him as manager is giving over inflated wages to the likes of kyle, sandaza, black and a legion of other donkeys. was a perfect time to invest in youth players that would have been much cheaper and had a sell on value. grew up idolising him as a player but as a manager i really don't rate him. as a sidenote anyone that touches that sunderland job needs there head looked at. they are one of the fastest sinking ships there is

9.) 16 Nov 2017 13:50:15
I'd be delighted if McCoist got the Sunderland job, there were rumours at one point he would be the next Rangers manager and I don't want to see him anywhere near that Ibrox dugout again.

10.) 17 Nov 2017 12:29:53
He got us through 2 divisions, League 2 and League 1.

My mate just got sacked from his job at the circus. He is suing them for funfair dismissal.

12 May 2020 17:35:41
Biggest question I have is one solitary vote yes from the championship. Someone fishy there.

1.) 12 May 2020 18:24:51
Hi Snell, that would be ICT mate. Apart from the 13 who voted with us, I would take no more to do with any of the rest. I don't see any mileage in taking this further, in my opinion, we'll never get any support in this Country.

2.) 12 May 2020 18:44:51
Can anyone tell me what happened to Partick Thistle yes vote.

3.) 12 May 2020 19:23:27
There probably not checked the spam folder yet.

4.) 12 May 2020 19:27:39
Partick voted as a 1st division club.

5.) 12 May 2020 19:51:42
Ted, no they never.

6.) 12 May 2020 20:15:28
John25.Partick did vote as div 1 side.

7.) 12 May 2020 22:34:27
Snell, the clubs that voted against, must have something to hide, why would clubs not like to clean the game up, for the good of scottish football, but a third voted for it, so that is enough in my opinion to keep this going, mate, looking forward to our next statement.

08 May 2020 12:29:39
My feelings after a bit of time to reflect- clubs in this country, their fans and the press all like to moan about the way the league is run, how amateurish it is and how things could be so much better.

We come out with points basically highlighting the fact and they all can't wait to shoot it down, try and throw it back in our faces and mock us. The press were the ones pushing the days we were going to deliver our dossier and drove the 'explosive' agenda to make it seem more than a dam squib than it is. There are questions and points in there that are worth raising and investigating for me.

If the majority are happy to waste this opportunity then that's on them. As always been a 'jobs for the boys' culture at the 'top' of our game. Let us continue as a laughing stock, the next time anyone outside our country refers to mickey mouse/ tinpot league though, don't be offended- we (as in SPFL, not Gers) have given them all the ammunition they need.

1.) 08 May 2020 14:31:53
Couldn't agree more, was about to post the same.

I think it is inevitable that we will lose this vote. There are too many clubs that will vote against Rangers regardless and the rest are sticking their heads in the sand. Some day the tide will turn.

2.) 08 May 2020 14:58:12
Can i suggest writing in paragraphs mate, its easier on the eye🤣.

3.) 08 May 2020 15:19:50
Snell I cannot agree enough mate you’ve nailed it.

4.) 08 May 2020 16:43:01
Always happy to take feedback on board Jason 🤣.

5.) 08 May 2020 18:04:55
Gary Ralston is as far as I can read is the only journalist worthy of the title
Leckie just astonishing he found no wrong at all? his bitterness is profound Jackson mildly balanced but still too snide for my liking, Mutton Just naw.

07 May 2020 17:53:02
Ed mate what are your thoughts on all this goings on? Hopefully I don't start a riot 🤣🤣.

{Ed001's Note - I haven't read the dossier so I don't have any thoughts on it. I would not listen to what the accused have to say about it, as they have a vested interest in rubbishing it. So I will just wait until it is actually released to read and then make a judgement.

There does seem to have been a lot of underhanded dealing going on, standard in politics and this seems to have become politics rather than football. The problem is that proving guilt is very difficult, even when you know full well someone is. Just ask OJ Simpson.}

1.) 07 May 2020 18:08:19
Is it correct what I read that the Spfl didn't receive an official copy of the report, just clubs?
If that's the case, where did they get the copy from?!

2.) 07 May 2020 19:06:06
Good answer Ed.

{Ed001's Note - it is just my honest appraisal of what has been going on. English and Scottish football have got themselves into a mess because of the way their leagues are run. Instead of being run for the good of the sport, they are run by the clubs and that creates problems as clubs are looking out for themselves. Sports should always have an independent body setting up the rules and running them.}

3.) 07 May 2020 19:35:18
Appreciate you taking the time to give your thoughts ed 👍.

{Ed001's Note - very welcome mate, sorry it is not very informative!}

4.) 07 May 2020 21:37:58
this is the 19 page dossier.

5.) 07 May 2020 23:36:13
Ed,i 'm in complete agreement with you on sports should always have an independent body setting the rules an running them, proper way to do things imo also.

24 Apr 2020 14:15:16
Thoughts on Tavs latest comments? "Confident we will maintain our winning mentality if the league restarts".

1.) 24 Apr 2020 15:24:50
snell, same as the post up above yours, just use his name, that's my reply, all paper talk.

2.) 24 Apr 2020 15:52:07
Unfortunately for Tav after his last round of comments there is no way back for him.

Bazza was a class player but hardly an unbiased view from him saying sign his nephew! Haha

I do like the look of Lewis when he plays against us he does get stuck in. Don't see enough (would never watch a sheep match not including us) to say if he is consistently up to standard.

By "looking at him" means he will be on a database with thousands of other young players all across Europe. Doesn't mean they are watching him every other week.

That team gives me the fear. Doc only cut it at league one, Cosgrove goes on big gaps with no goals- to be point sheep fans aren't even that happy with him. Dykes has a ratio of a goal in 3. The days of cherry picking players to fit a title winning league are over. The league and national team were a higher standard back then. Neil McCann for example, five times the player of any naned above.
