Cantwell provides the magic, to talk about him like this seems harsh, taken off when performing well, subbed after 30 Mins, yet Dessers and lammars stay on is mind blowing, he would flourish in a young dynamic midfield .
Saying he’s more interested in social media, fans are clueless.
I remember watching mr cooper, he would’ve get slated with shouts of,
‘’Ya lazy person”, ‘useless’, even as a wee boy I used to look at these fans and think how dumb they were.
Thats the hardest job in the world, to find that spark of genius, fans are so quick to condemn .
He’s no cooper, but we shop in bargain basements, as we spent millions on Dessers and lammers .

Cantwell is rhe absolute least of our problems and i'd bet any money right now he's not replaced with better if he was sold. Certainly not for the amounts we are willing to spend. Cantwell puts a lot of effort into games so to say he doesn't go the extra mile is wrong.

My opinion, he's a player yes, but his head is full of mince, and behaves like a child, cuts that out n plays like he can then maybe I'd reconsider, until then you have your thoughts I have mine.

Has great ability but shows more on social media than he does on the pitch. Think there is players in the league already that are more effective and plenty available. We get a decent fee it could get us a similar player that's more effective on the itch.

Cantwells a bit of a maverick and as such not everything comes off but he is one of the few genuine footballers in our squad and a player who is entertaining and on his game gets fans off their seats. Don`t care about all the social media stuff that is just todays culture its what he does on the pitch that matters and there are 4 or 5 attacking midfielders/ wide players that should be gone before him. Personally I think he always does work hard for the team and leads the press well. As for not going that extra mile at least he wants to play every minute of every game unlike some who happily take their wages to sit in the treatment room or the bench.

Imo Cantwells biggest issue is the dross around him. He is miles ahead in terms of football ability and thought process. Dessers etc are nowhere near understanding his intent.
