Hagi to return after Euro's, Lawrence to Besitkas, Druioech prefers PSV, just some of the cannon fodder fired out by media today. Usual veracity uncertainty applies.

If we’re playing with a 10 I’d like Hagi to be that man.

I do to ow that we will as Celtic tear us apart in central mf a day fullback due to not having 3 cm’s PC must see this aswell:

If we do t play with a 10 I’d move him on.

28 Jun 2024 09:29:48
Stevie, what does that post mean?

28 Jun 2024 09:45:57
Hagi would probably benefit from another loan. Perhaps at a lower level where he will get a lot more game time than last season. It is still unclear just how much that 18 month injury took out of him. The guy needs to be playing regular first-team football.

As soon as next season begins Rangers have Champions League qualifiers and an Old Firm game at Parkhead to win. There’s no time to nurse players back to fitness and form. Rangers will play the strongest eleven and guys like Hagi won’t get the minutes he needs.

Typing with a toffee hammer there.

hagi needs some, nothing less, first two games were decent and a great free kick elevated him to a status he could never uphold, never held down a place and the quintessential substitute.

Typing in the work van ??

I don’t know that we will play with a 10 next season as Celtic are tearing us apart in central mf and at both fullback positions due to us playing g with 2 central mids instead of 3 to accommodate the no 10z.

Stevie’s post asks if Rangers will play a ten next season. They almost certainly will since 4-2-3-1 is the formation PC almost always runs with.

Celtic’s three man midfield were getting the better of ours last season. It is arguably the one area where there has been a major difference in quality. Rangers will improve that three man midfield - They need to. Barron isn’t enough to tip the scales.

If PC is going to stick with the 4-2-3-1 this rigidly he might be best getting a proper number 6, and a number 10. But then, Rangers need a couple of wingers too. More needs to be brought in midfield to front, and of a greater quality than we have now. I don’t actually think striker is the priority position this summer, it’s everyone else around the striker.

GenericRangersFan - What minutes does Hagi need?
Ianis has played 22 games in the spanish premier league, in a low quality team, has fully recovered from his injury.

If he is fit he will be in the first team, still has 24 months left on his contract with us, the Galatasaray transfer specualtaion happens every year he has been playing since his days in the Belgian league, Clement has came very close to working with Hagi on 2 occasions once at KRC genk, when he came to us for Gerrards rebuild, when Clement managed them just after Hagi left and again when Hagi left for spain just before clement came to Rangers, clement is well aware of Hagi's qualities, unless we get offered good money Ianis will get his chance.

if he was still recovering then why is he playing for the Romanian national side? lol. Who was the top assister in the league for the whole season when he played consistently in Gerrards rangers 1st team? Hagi was.
would rather have Hagi as Cam than a half arsed Cantwell who Clement clearly has no time for.

Hagi still has plenty to offer the lads only 25 same age as Danilo.
Sure he lacks pace, but he makes up for it with his vision and passing abilities and chips in with goals as well, he had a herrendous injury that ends several players footballing careers permanently, the fact he has recovered is superb.

Clement preffered formation is 4-2-3-1 same as Gerrard same as Gio, it's the modern formation, he has had great success with that formation in belgium winning 3 titles in a row at 2 different clubs.
I'm fairly sure we will play a 10 next season and his name is Ianis Hagi.

GenericRangersFan - We cab read Stevies posts mate.

No one on here gives a toss about celtics midfield their teams gash, and the only thing stopping us tearing them apart has been injuries to key players most of last season, this season will be very different as Koppen and Clement really get to work on the rebuild.

Have you not seen Barron play? he is a quality young talent and will be a problem for celtic with out a shadow of a doubt.
He was voted best player on the pitch in the recent Celtic v Aberdeen cup draw, better than any celtic player that day, but aye he is not good enough now lmfao.
Connor is perfect for our midfield and will add some qualities we lacked last season, did you miss the fact Serie A clubs were vying with us for his signature, we were lucky to get him, lad will be a star for us i have zero doubt about that.

The CF position is fixed now we have our 3 for next season. with Lovelace potentially 4th choice if clement likes what he sees.
Koppen will be bringing raw youth players as well just like he did in belgium and holland.

Stevie is it a fire engine? or are you on safari?

28 Jun 2024 17:44:53
Another loan for hagi doesn't benefit rangers at all PC knows what he can do he. ll have watched his games and if he's not part of our plans selling him hs the best option.

28 Jun 2024 17:48:23
Is the simple answer not to just bring hagi back and give him 6 months then decide.

People are judging him on his last few games for rangers when he had returned from a long lay off he should be over that now.

And has he still not got a bit of time on his contract anyway?

28 jun 2024 19:02:55
so, verdant,
you stopped repeating other peoples words so you can look like your the only one who can answer them

now your telling us what a poster said so you can look like your explaining it

are you ok mate? , because maybe you have an issue where you feel you need to tell us what we can read ourselves, very very weird.

28 jun 2024 19:03:32
your absolutely correct laudrup, very strange indeed,

28 Jun 2024 19:45:13

28 Jun 2024 20:18:46
I think GRFs input is actually pretty good he's not arguing with anyone think he is just referring to the comment he's going to reply to what's up with that?

29 jun 2024 07:58:23
yip fork, verdant done exact same things.

29 Jun 2024 08:52:28
