Very worried about losing Tav and morelos also this Mike A thing hope it does not put us back down that road again.

If we lose tav and morelos then I would imagine we would get in the region of 25mil, therefore let's say we pay the fat rat 5-7mil, that would leave us 18-20mil to get a rb and a st. What's to worry about? 🤔ðŸ‘.

The thing to worry about is we know what we get with Tav. He will provide goals and assists, his defending is improving each season, and the big one is that he doesn’t get injured. He’s played almost 200 games for us in 4 years. If we sell him and Alfie it’s all well saying we’ll buy someone better but realistically how do you know they won’t be a dud or injury prone. Everyone thinks the grass is greener on the other side and says we’ll get someone better but I really think if Tav goes the naysayers will finally realise what we had 👠(a wee thumbs up for you Coldo)

Coldo what you think of the whole MASH Retail? Is it ingenuous to get him off the radar completely or do you think we can be in danger of having to play millions?
Mike Ashley needs to realise that he is only tarnishing his reputation even moreso We don't not want to do Business with him He has already destroyed many company and a massive football club down south Who have been stagnant for years!

Coldo pay the fat rat 5-7m? have you lost your mind the entire kit deal is worth £10m why would we even entertain paying anything like that? As I understand it Ashly would of stood to make around £2m from the merchandising deal so no court in the world would award him more than that especially the 5-7m you’re dribbling about.

The fact the media are reporting it as millions of pounds and a comment from the club said being forced to pay it could have "serious impact on our ability to operate" makes me think it is a good bit over 2 mill Highland bear. Hard to know the facts of course and either of us could be right but to say coldo is slevering is a bit wide of the mark.

I am seriously worried about what is going on with this parasite Mike Ashley can't bare to see the club go down that road again and those cockroaches from the east watch.

As has been shown again and again in the law courts your team entered into legally binding contracts of their own volition and then proceeded to break them. Mr Ashley was merely seeking a remedy in law for financial loss. I believe the court are talking about 'many millions' of pounds. Additionally it seems that the 'Elite' agreement was also illegal and the club / company are liable there too. Mind you, when you put a convicted fraudster in de facto charge I suppose anything can be expected.

TheMagyar I know this may be hard but THINK. Mike Ashley and his cronies drew up these contracts. I am not a lawyer but I work with quite a few. They don't know how these contracts have been allowed to stand, as a director of a company you are bound by law to only make deals which are advantageous to the firm/ company you represent. What our board should do is offer SDI the same profits they accrued in their last year as suppliers. With the vast majority boycotting his merchandise it can't be much. As an Hungarian I'd have thought you'd have more sense. If you are just here on the wind up well played.

Blue. Dave King said at the time and the press repeated it, that the deal he signed had seen Ashley off. You were then told later by King that Ashley had been paid £3million and still had the deal. I didn't know that capitalism only allowed deals which benefitted both parties. If that's the case then the old maxim of 'Caveat Emptor'is clearly not needed.

just how does buyer beware apply here? King paid ASshley off for a) to get his shares out of the club b) the return of our rights to our emblems etc. whoever advised him not to include the merchandising deal was either incompetent or a Celtic supporter.

What's happening at our club regarding legal advice? . Time after time our lawyers are in conflict with Ashley's lawyers and they run rings around us. Surely they can't be that incompetent? Only reasoning I can think of is they advise King that Ashley is Likely to win but King still decided to go ahead with it- It appears that at best King is a hopeless optimist, otherwise he is a fool.

A bit worried for season ahead now with candieas morelos and Tav looking like they will leave can forget about going for title or doing well this season if that's the case what are the board doing.

FFS I’ve seen some pessimism on this site before but you should really look to another sport my friend. Successful teams will always have players attractive to other teams and everyone has their price! The board are doing a fine job under constraints and maybe I’m being over optimistic but have scouted alternatives if this happens. Maybe main again at Christmas to see where we are, me I think we will be in a good place.

Flanno was quite exposed at left back because he could only turn into his good foot. Although if we were to give him a proper try at rb if tav left i think he would be solid.
