8ts a wonderful day for all rangers fans, now we have men who, even if they can't quite take us to higher ground, we know they will always do what is best for our club, I believe they will take us much higher, and Mr King and co have stated they are in shock at the state of the actual stadium, here's a thought Dave, many thousands of gets fans are unemployed, some are skilled tradesmen, some good grafters, ask for voluntary help, say at note or Sundays for free labour, food n drinks free, and offer these guys tickets or visits to the stadium, we could work together and redo our home easily, and the guys could take pride in what they did for Rangers,, what you think of that thought ed, guys, and god bless you Dave,

2.) 06 Mar 2015 15:56:26
Tommy 51, we are all part of the rangerd family and I personally agree with you because I would do anything to help, I'm a shareholder, a season ticket holder and go everywhere to support rangers mate and have done for close on 40 years and I'm sure I could do a bit of painting my friend!

Regarding the various posts in relation to Donald Findlay's comments.
Whether you think/vote/decide with your heart or your head the fact of the matter is that there has been a legal decision taken and that is what we as Bears, and everyone else for that matter, must acknowledge and accept. The decision reached by The Rt Hon Lord Nimmo Smith, Nicholas Stewart QC and Charles Flint QC on 12 December 2012 concludes and I quote "In common speech a Club is treated as a recognisable entity which is capable of being owned and operated and which continues in existence despite its transfer to another owner and operator. "
I really don't think the above could be any clearer.

Gogs24 Because a few judges make that ruling, does it make it so? I've made my feelings clear on this site before re this subject. Each fan has to come to their own decision on it,and will know in their heart of hearts the truth.I personally wrestled with my conscience long and weary before accepting we ARE a new club,we had to apply to join SFA in our current form, and that is that. Now, before the barrage of "why are you supporting a new club" or whatever,it kills me to admit what those f***s did to my club, but Ibrox stands,11 men in blue jerseys play there. After 42 years I cannot let go,its in my blood but I tell it as I see it.

2.) Gkk I have been through all emotions& then some!! Every1 is entitled too their own opinion, but if we roll back to the day a CVA was rejected, &liquidation loomed every media outlet in the land& further afield new it was over. For f*s sake even Charles says it live for the world to hear!!Then the inner circle had too urgently get the story reworded& rewritten The speeches of bigotry shown against us, victimisation etc got the fans rallying together& the "Everyone's against us, its there fault every last one em, from BBC SPL all the media etc". The then now forever was the calling & every1 buys into Charles's new outlook (em huge Yorkshire hands are made for holding loads££s)was his only bloody truth!!well we know how it's ended&now have another in ashley who will make Millon's with the rangers brand oh& the naming rites of Ibrox for the fact sum of a pound!!!so anyhow I know what I believe to be the truth&slowly have seen many many more are the same, as for the comment below " regarding smoking what Mr Findlay is smoking). well I would listen &agree with him, rather than be like fingers in ears "blah blah blah" lord nimmos da man watp nowts changed brigade. 4. 1 tonights bet

3.) 04 Nov 2014 19:42:21
That auld Left (dis)Honourable tadger was only asked about tonights game at the weekend, and somehow he gets round to this are they/aren't they debate. One of the other posters said it,why now?

4.) 04 Nov 2014 19:48:16
GKK & Sad bear- you honesty in adversity is admirable. A sad state of affairs but admirable none the less. Good luck to you both, I hope this Rangers eventually realises the value of supporters such as yourselves and provides you a club to be proud of. It's the least you deserve.

5.) @Gogs24. The problem I have with the LNS decision being used in the way it is, is that it was NOT a legal decision. It was a statement made at a private tribunal, run under the auspices and rules of a private concern. That LNS was a judge is of little consequence. For a statement made by a judge IN a legal context, I offer you Colin Bishopp.

"Judge Colin Bishopp said he took into account the financial collapse of Rangers and subsequent fallout into allowing the hearings to be held in public.

He stated: "Perhaps because of such feelings, professional football clubs are often regarded as having a special status. In some respects that may be the correct view; but it should nevertheless not be overlooked that a modern professional football club is not a 'club', in the sense of an unincorporated association of members who join together in pursuit of a common purpose, but a commercial enterprise whose function is to generate profits for its shareholders. ""

Just because a company uses the word 'club' in its name, does not make it a club.

6.) 05 Nov 2014 09:08:47
Still the same club according to U. E. F. A rules that will do for me and do you honestly think the east end mob would be giving it high 5s whooping and cheering if they believed we were a new club c'mon behave yourselves.
r. f

7.) 05 Nov 2014 12:27:59
We are RANGERS. gr8 peice goggs,, only nobody turning up can end a club ! My club is alive and getting better, apart from the actual football obviously!
Long live the Gers

8.) 05 Nov 2014 15:59:54
To be honest we ARE the same club and the judge ruling only confirmed what we know. Nobody has stated we r any different, in fact we have been pronounced unchanged, same colours, same stadium, if we were different then why such a circus around us, why r the East end mob so looking forward to an old firm game if it has never happened before.

9.) So enlighten me on "You can't buy history & tradition" Findlay's quote, so tell me just 1 example of history & tradition being bought, purchased ever anywhere !!!!!! It's a MYTH!!!!

10.) No history needed bought, it was always there, that is where we differ, Funnily enough Donald Findlay could be wrong you know.

11.) 05 Nov 2014 19:30:05
Let's leave aside analysing what other people have said for a moment. Remember the mass fan protest at ibrox when placards were held up all over the stadium at minutes 18 and 72 of the match, to protest against bill miller because he had openly stated he would liquidate the club? The gist was that we wouldn't stand for liquidation as the history was not to be tampered with. Can any fan who took part in that protest and who now maintains, after liquidation, that we are simply the same club please come on here and explain how they reconcile their change of attitude towards the effect of liquidation?

12.) 05 Nov 2014 21:37:51
Just as an aside. Donald Findlay spends his life in court defending murders and major criminals. ? Does this mean he is always telling the truth. ????

13.) Yip red cards everywhere in the whole stadium against liquidation as we knew it was Armageddon & stood as 1 in the hope of a CVA or a sugar daddy, alas none of the former came around & the rest is history!!!!!

14.) Yip red cards everywhere in the whole stadium against liquidation as we knew it was Armageddon & stood as 1 in the hope of a CVA or a sugar daddy, alas none of the former came around & the rest is history!!!!!

15.) Tommy 45: Yes, people paying too much attention to Findlay, more than they did before, he isn't even in civic law, so how is he going to know anyway?

16.) R. f - where did UEFA state the same club? According to UEFA there is no distinction between club and company - therefore must be a new club.

17.) 06 Nov 2014 22:00:25
With reference to my post @11 above, was nobody on here amongst those who held up the placards on minutes 18 and 72 that day to protest against bill miller tampering with the history by his proposed liquidation?

18.) 06 Nov 2014 16:07:54
We're still on the official u. e. f. a ratings list, and to anyone who thinks we're not the same club you have all came on here debating if ashley is good for the club some of u have even said what has happened to the traditions of the club well if you think we're not the same club why do you bother just stay away or follow another team it even astounds me that u come on here & say "not the same club " then finish up by saying born a ranger die a ranger ffs get a grip if u don't believe then stay away its as simple as that.
r. f

19.) 07 Nov 2014 21:37:08
@18 r. f. were you holding up a placard on minutes 18 and 72 that day? If so then what has made you change your view about the effect of liquidation on the history? If you weren't there holding up a placard, are you saying that the tens of thousands who did so were just making a stupid mistake?

20.) R. f - if it is the same club when will the creditors receive the millions of pounds they are owed?

Absolutely spot on about McGregor. He strikes me as someone who knows what it means to play for Rangers and gives 100 per cent in every game. Quick, good in the air and strong on the tackle - he ticks all the boxes for me.
On another note, does anyone else feel Cammy Bell appears to lack the confidence necessary to be a top keeper?

Couldn't agree more.
What exactly does Hutton bring to the team?
Clark is a lightweight and any half decent centre would have him in his pocket.
At least McCall was a bit more animated in the technical area than his predecessors so he appears to know what he wants the players to do but his raw materials ain't great!
