Far, far, far too passive first half.
When we had the ball they were all over us but we waited until they came into our half before closing them down.
Cantwell on the right? Half of the time he was our best defender but not involved in an attacking sense in the first half.
Dessers physical play doesn’t seem suited to this ‘new’ Old Firm game where a foul is given if someone blows their nose!
Danilo at least showed something when he came on, but as usual we had to wait to the 60th minute!
Not the most structured argument I know, I’ve had a couple of beers….

Tactics were a joke although I am not convinced that the players even knew the game plan. Defence was all over the place and our two centre backs are almost guaranteed to give away at least one goal in a game, but Beal thinks that they are fine. We play a right sided fullback on the left and leave Yilmaz on the bench, Dessers is slow, doesn't seem to understand the offside rule and just isn't the answer but he stays on when the subs are made and our most dangerous striker, Roofe, is taken off. I could go on but it is pointless. Beale is no where close to what we need, if he remains as manager then things will only get worse. Are Bennet and Bisgrove really going to accept second or third best and more embarrassment in Europe or do they bite the bullet now and bring in manager with a strong track record and hope that they can turn these players into a league winning football team.

Hey guys, I'm bringing my family back to Scotland for the first time in 15 years.
We've managed to get tickets for the St Mirren game and of course I've booked a stadium tour as well.
I was wondering if there is a way for my son to meet/ see the players either at the stadium or training ground?
Any info or advice would be appreciated.

Player used to arrived at murray park about 9am and start to leave between 1pm an 2pm these days it might still be the same arrival time etc i always just stood outside main gates but some times gazza etc sneeked out the back gate but i would think these days they all leave main gates
Have a nice tour and hopefully if you head to murray park to get all the squad.

Murray Park opened for use in 2001 and Gascoigne left in 1998 so not sure how he used to sneak out the back door.

Its bn mega years since i was there and they used the bk door way out i was usin gazza name as example same as laudrup used to run straight of jordanhill collage when they used them facilities straight on to the bus while gpugh mccoist mcall negri etc all signed fans tops etc.

I've been overseas for many years but I'm heading back to Scotland in April and I'm keen to take the family to see a Rangers game.

Welcome Mick, regarding MYGers, it does give you an advantage over fans who don't have MyGers when it comes to ticket availability. however please ensure that you apply for any tickets as quickly as possible, there are very few games now that tickets are available for general sale so even with mygers its first come first served.

I liked the fact that Barisic was the only one who manned up and went into apologise to Gerrard after a debacle of a bounce game performance (I can’t remember who against.! ) which was the end for Grezda and Lafferty.
Also, can we stop this ‘serial losers’ rubbish, enough parroting Sutton!
