How wonderful it will be when we are being promoted to the SPL this season when Thompson and the **** feeder team are being relegated! Be careful what you wish for and never kick somebody on the way down as they may pass you on the way back up - both spring to mind, looking forward to a splendid gloating session, keep it up United!

Agreed. great to see Thomson the numpty quivering in his interview, having to apologise to fans for the team bein utter useless. agree with 1st post on this topic, can't wait for them to go down as we go up!

The poor man canny sleep at night! Have a bit a compassion. LOL.

3.) 17 Feb 2016 20:20:11
I was a bit surprised by his claim that they have 3rd highest spl wage bill. I assume behind the soap dodgers and sheep. Who are they paying all the money to- all the decent players they had are now on Celtics wage bill.

As they say, couldn't happen to a nicer bloke. A real shame. Haha.

4.) 18 Feb 2016 15:29:52
And didn't he enjoy our pain, never a wood or the Rangers fans who suffered, not one word, just hate and a deeprooted intent on harm, feel the suffering now Thomson, you SOLD utds players to your real team, and along with your then manager, in a seemingly unexplained manner, IE, the manager got a cut of the proceeds? If that's sporting integrity then I'm a Dutchman

Son Ch'ing wan.

Guys,
I know we are in a mess but look at the 15 point lead we squandered before Admin, Whyte gambled on Rangers getting into the Champions League as expected, when we failed his plan was goosed, but our football and tactics were shocking, signings included, the buck stops at the manager, Ally was a great Rangers player - I am 49 years old - so was John Greig, doesn't make them a great manager, I think Ally should come to an agreement and go now, notice periods are not a recipe for success in any business, we need new ideas and a new outlook asap not a protracted period with Ally's pals on board! You may not like my post but it's 100% correct for our club,

1.) If we can get a manager who tactically aware and a good man manager hearts have so far had no injuries or suspensions to speak of we have some decent players who with some coaching etc will improve and don't forget hearts sometime this season will have stutter in form and loose a couple of games so far they have had all the breaks but that will not last all season

2.) My dad's just turned 80 and has followed Rangers all his life, he isn't into all the boardroom politics etc etc, he just wants to watch the football, he reared me with stories of Baxter, Caldow Miller, Brand and so on, With me working and living down in England I don't get up as much as I'd like to but each year I buy my Dad's season ticket for just behind the home dugout in the east enclosure, he left after 25 minutes of one game earlier on the season and has not been back to Ibrox since, when I asked him why, he says it's because he cannot bear to watch the football being played under Ally McCoist, now that's coming from a man who has been to thousands of games good and bad in his life, it break's not only his heart but mine too as I know it's hurting him so much, I just hope he lives to see his beloved Rangers back where they belong and playing a decent standard of football, but is adamant he will not go again while McCoist is in charge. He's not the only one.

3.) @bIgwull

"Hearts have so far had no injuries or suspensions to speak of "
"Hearts have had all the breaks"

Do me a favour. Have they not just spent several weeks without several first choice players and ground out the required results? Oh, and one of the teams they beat in that period. Rangers.

Disturbing thing if true is that he had to be told to play them - was he not watching on Sunday then? Could only be an improvement on what we've got, also re Eagles other poster has it spot on, didn't want to play for £12000 a week as the SPL was a drop in standard in his opinion. has the standard suddenly improved since then or surely it couldn't be due to the fact that he has no club, no wage and no sign of any club except supposedly us even remotely interested in him, in England when his name is mentioned its Chris who? Another pay day shameless hanger-on!

Hear hear could not be any worse! I am still optimistic for mike Ashley, let's be honest there's only 291 richer people in the world than him.

Right ED i will reply one last time, remember we are talking about business here, so NUFC the club funded the scouting system and the signings - who funds the club, doh! THE OWNER and do not accuse me of lying - NUFC are in a far superior position now than with any of the previous owners financially - we shall see what happens within the next few months, I at least am trying to be upbeat about it and not another doom and gloom everyone is trying to shaft us merchant ! The Blue Knights, Kennedy, Murray etc all had numerous chances and did SFA - positivity is now called for and unity - with that I've had my say many thanks to you all - look forward to the coming 90 days changes are afoot and for the better

greg202

{Ed001's Note - the fans fund the club, doh! You clearly have no idea what you are talking, so please go away and learn something. They are not in a far superior position, they are in major debt to their owner, which he could call in at any time or if something happened to him they would have to repay that debt. Also, they have no income from advertising hoardings or most of their merchandising, which instead goes to Sports DIrect. Only a fool or someone who is ignorant thinks Newcastle are in a stronger position due to Mike Ashley!}

Well ED let's take into account the 7 signings Newcastle made in August - who funded that - yes whether you like it or not it was Ashley, also the scouting system he has funded at NUFC, brought in young players for small money the sold them 2 or 3 seasons later for big money, that's business, I think Ashley is not bad news - give it some time and if I am wrong you are all welcome to lambast me from the highest buildings in London - until I am proved wrong just think of the 48 hours we were away from Administration, and don't come back and bore me about Brian Kennedy et al who always seem to be there at the last moment but produce nothing - why don't they step forward if they are serious players in the weeks leading up to this latest fiasco ! while i am on here Paul Murray and Dave King were on the previous board which failed miserably, that's why Ashley did not even talk to them - let us be thankful bears that we have secured funding and hope for the best, and by the way just think about every c****c s**t kit that Sports Direct sell its potentially going into our coffers ha ha !

greg202

{Ed001's Note - he did no such thing, the club funded them through sales. Why lie about it? He never funded the scouting system either, the club did. What do you intend to achieve by making up crap? Sports Direct provide no funding at all, nor do they pay for turning St James' Park into a massive billboard for their crap.}
