Read a couple comments on here and a few on different fans website angry that Neil Murray has been suspended. The only shock for me is that it has taken so long.
His job is to identify players which he is clearly useless at. Argyiou, Cribari, Celik, bedoya, Faure to mention a few. Its his job and he is failing dramatically at it. If I was performing as badly at my day job i'd expect the same treatment. can't get him out the door quick enough for me and he can take all his gem findings with him!

marko1786

1.) See earlier comment re Anestis Argyriou and Sebastien Faure. Not Neil Murray recommendations but taken on to do a favour for Charlie Green's agant pal who was putting money into Ibrox.

Not that Charlie will be mentioning the fact any time soon.

2.) Didn't Green arrange for a couple of those to be signed?

3.) Why has it taken Chuckie so long to Sussex this out? Think finances are now getting very tight and he's looking to offload from the wage bill, IMO.

4.) Why are people angry? There are no facts in the public domain so no reason to get upset. He might well be totally innocent.

5.) How do you know (which I'm sure it was said somewhere, but no proof so call it rumour) that ally was givin a list of players to pick from that looked good and knocked it back 4 times?

Lenny

6.) You should worry about your own overated team youve lost more points this season than any other manager in 10 years

7.) Do not care reason, hopefully this is start of required clearout.

8.) I heard that the spls overall attendance is roughly 1million less this season compared to averages. Could be a few clubs tethering on the brink

9.) @6. Deflection. A champions league run to the last sixteen and over £20 m banked. All teams suffer dips after competing in that

10.) @6 did that one hurt? Don't care if we win the league by a point money wise this is the best Celtic have been in years, something Chico can only dribble about

Lenny

11.) Who is next to go? Hopefully Green.

12.) Why slag off Celik? He's doing well now. Scoring and creating. He'll end up at a big club.

Hullo hurrah

GO NOW Ally!
I was on a couple weeks back saying that your time was up and that u would end up driving thousands away from the game and feelings towards a greay player would turn very sour.
This has now happend, big spaces, crowd booing and an embarresment of a performance against a team of part timers and one boy who done a paper round this morning.
The scary thing is some persons that come on here were calling for Hemmings to be given a shot as he looks good. Today should be his last appearance for the club.
Season ticket renewals coming up, act now Charles

marko1786

1.) Totally agree especially about Hemmings, he didn't look like he had ever played the game before. If that's the future then we are in big trouble. Faure again was awful totally lost in the middle of the park along with Crawford. Lowest crowd of the season and I can see many people not renewing season tickets. The fans have been amazing and they have been cheated by the manager and the players. Green shouldn't think we are fools and think we will blindly follow this rubbish.

2.) U having a laugh mate should be hemmings last appearance what do u expect when only 1 up front from our poor manager again young lad short of game time plus first start for us so would been nervous and snatching it his chances give the lad a chance with a strike partner if u want blame sum one then look at mccoist and his staff not hemmings managment is poor a see better at ma local park

3.) Agree with that except game time. They sent him out to get game time and he was playing 2 divisions above this and done well. If he bottled it as you are suggesting then maybe he's up to playing for Rangers.

Thought he was disappointing to be honest even taking into consideration he was up top on his own. If the rest of the team didn't look so bad and shaky at the back Ally would have put McCulloch up beside him but he was obviously worried about them converting one of they're chances.

hey guys just a couple quick questions?

How long is the Greeks contract? (by far one of the worst players rangers have ever signed!)
Cribaris contract?
Faures Contract
Sandazas contract
The reason I ask is I believe the only way the club can move forward is to get rid of these wage thiefs and start again by bringing in the necessary quality to move us up through the divisons whilst at least attempting to challenge for the cups

marko1786

1.) Your right these players have been woeful and it's hard to understand how they could have passed a trial. Better players on less wages should have been signed instead. Would rather have seem Marvin Andrews back than Cribari. This all comes down to the managers judgement and that is why he should go

2.) The players you mention have been part of the team that have all but sealed promotion. That's what they were brought in to do so it's job done. I'm afraid it's going to be another season or 2 of ugly football but if the leauge I won fans can't really complain.

3.) @2 sorry but I don't buy that line about 2 more years of ugly football. Why should it be like that? Rangers have signed SPL players and paid big wages to seal promotion from the bottom rung of Scottish football. They are up against part time players and the have struggled in more than half the games. It's a sad sad day when we have sunk so low that some fans are satisfied with what's being produced

4.) My ugly football comment was regarding the opposition that rangers are playing against. These teams don't have players with great technical ability, they relly on hat work an endevour getting stuck in. If you've ever played football it's very difficult to get the ball down and play nice football when the other teams tactic is the old up and over turn the defence and close down. Ends up both teams doing the same.

5.) To post 1. absoulte nonsense mate, down to the managers judgement don't make me laugh, ally had 6 players turn up for pre season training he had less than a month to get players in the door for a stint of 1 and a half seasons he had no choice he had to take the best of the dross put infront of him, *ksd*

6.) @5 so what u r saying is that Rangers couldn't have signed any players from teams like Dundermline, Partick th & QOS and instead signed foreign duds. What rubbish! There are plenty of players in these divisions that are used to playing in Scotland and would have cost much less in wages. The example of Andrews is a good one. Better player than Cribari, used to playing in Scottish football and cheaper. Only a fool would disagree

First time poster and didn't want to start on a negative note but I feel its necessary. Why are we paying Neil Murray? He as head scout has not identified 1 player that's anywhere near good enough. Whoever has looked at the Greek, the Brazilian and the French boy deserves sacked ASAP. We signed a couple players based in Scotland who on paper were good signings but we've also signed boys like Celik and Bedoya who wouldn't get a game with Dunfermline!
We need answers as to who is identifying these donkeys?

marko1786

1.) McCoist and the management team also decided to sign the players Murray scouted so the buck doesn't stop with him.

2.) Murray was a terrible player and a worse scout, ally has final say though, rumour has it ally signed cribari after he made a slide tackle in training.

3.) What can u disagree about?are there actually gers fans out there who think these foreign duds are any good. I sit in the govan rear and I can assure u the view from up there suggests they are stealing wages from my club. the Greek Brazilian and French lads are rank rotten

Bocanegra was reportedly on £15-18,000 a week. Without doubt a good player and someone who would solve our defensive problems but if you think the way forward is to pay these sort of wages in the 2nd division of scottish football to play against plumbers, posties etc then the club will soon be in another finicial mess

Ross Perry is 23 and Hutton is 22. They're not wee boys anymore. I don't recall anyone criticising Danny Wilson when he broke into the first team or Rhys McCabe. This is because they looked the part. they made mistakes but they showed potential. Perry Hutton and Hegarty are palying against Plumbers, posties and joiners and they are struggling big time. Wilson and McCabe were playing against SPL players.
ps I agree about the brazilian and I've said on here before that whoever identified/signed that Greek **** deserves their jotters. He has not got one attribute worth mentioning

I hope this is just speculation as he is rank rotten. wouldn't get a game for any SPL team and prob found his level in the 3rd division along with Ross Perry

Look at the players ally has signed over the past 2 years. A DISGRACE!
I wouldn't give ally money to go to the shops for messages never mind any substantial amount of cash that will bankroll our future (promising talent to sell on at profit)
I know we are rstricted to out of contract players but John Daly. Really?
Is this what we've settled for?
Go now Ally before the fans turn very bitter
