Listening to the radio clyde phone in tonight and the subject is defining legendary status within a football club we have many and too much to mention but there's one fantastic attacking midfielder that came through our ranks that I regarded in my time as the finest, scottish midfielder EVER to come through our ranks and its the one and only ian durrant, if that hatchet man of a so called football player neil simpson hadn't assaulted durrant with a tackle on the park then I firmly believe wee durranty could have played for any team in europe, his timing of his runs from midfield were truly exceptional! Ian durrant barring injury had the world at his feet and would have played in one of the biggest leagues within europe, an exceptional talent who would have been world class!

26 Feb 2016 19:48:39
While I agree about the shocking assault by the thug Simpson I don't think getting a piggy back off the pitch helped with the injury. What's worse is that the thug didn't even get sent off. Great midfielder who could have done anything in the game but for that assault.

26 Feb 2016 21:48:54
You are both correct, the assault that day was a disgrace and anyone who was at Pittodrie that day will confirm the venom in that stadium was disgusting and 95% of that came from the sheep. The biggest shame was that, possibly the best player to be produced through our ranks, was condemned to be a good player and not the world star that he could have been.

26 Feb 2016 22:53:30
Hated the sheep before this incident. Have despised them since.

26 Feb 2016 23:16:52
I was at that game and the reaction to the assault from the sheep was disgusting. Added to that some of the sick messages sent to Durrant from them as well they really are a horrible bunch.

27 Feb 2016 11:56:58
I was there also, horrible night, and they have managed to absolve themselves of any blame, even the animal Simpson has gained hero status, not even an apology or admittance of his disgusting behaviour, an everlasting stain on Scottish football
Tommy.

26 Feb 2016 20:55:57
Durrants knee was already in tatters before the piggy back that person simpson made sure of that biffo correct about about the wee man doing anything in the game, total class act even better than bobby russell
still can't take boabys finish v psv though.

That was the last time I set foot in that toilet. I've never known a more poisonous atmosphere ever, even at countless Celtic games.

26 Feb 2016 17:28:45
hello fellow bears because i live in ireland i don't get to read very much about my beloved team only what's online . can anyone tell me are there any reporters or newspapers in scotland that are not anti anything rangers and will write about anything that is positive . i have lived away for many years, but i have never seen so much drivel and nonsense that is being written day in day out at the moment. if our manager does every go back south it will only be the fault of the press. he is in my opinion the best thing to happen to scottish football as well as rangers he should be applauded for he is doing not only at i brox but he has brought a lot of intrest from england this will benifit the whole of scottish football so press put your knives away open your eyes and stop trying to bring the game down with your petty snidey remarks which in my mind is designed to wind everyone up and keep certain teams and supporters at each others throats .

26 Feb 2016 17:44:40
Try Chris Jack in the Evening Times, he's guaranteed to report positively on just about every single story regarding Rangers or his colleague Matthew Lindsay who is also a big Rangers fan. In fact, there's quite a number of journalists who liase with Level 5, Jim Traynor's PR company who are I believe very handsomely paid by the club.

27 Feb 2016 10:45:05
Are journalists not supposed to be neutral? If we don't like what we read does that make it wrong factually? I'm not sure if you get a true picture reading articles by Rangers fans with typewriters, er I mean computers, er I mean laptops, er I mean tablets. If you want that just look at the Rangers website every day.

26 Feb 2016 16:15:27
Anyone know how the ticket sales for tomorrow are going would hope to see a big crowd.

26 Feb 2016 17:15:27
The club said there was 45k sold. That was the other day so wouldn't be surprised if its a full house.

{Ed's Note - We have posted a new article entitled, Pass Penalty Is Spreading, O'Neill Advises Player To Quit Everton And More

we are only 3pts better off its still tight and anyone who thinks the league is over should think again macoist threw away a 15 point lead in the past hibs have another hard game at dumfries we have st mirren and falkirk the result of these 3 games will have a bigger factor on the automaic ist place.

26 Feb 2016 09:10:07
Difference is we've got a manager that can manage this time.

26 Feb 2016 09:52:21
The leagues not over till it's over but if we don't win the league from the position were in now, well let's just say I, ll eat my hat.

26 Feb 2016 10:44:41
We should win it from here but we've got to up our game. We need to be converting more chances and get the midfield balance right again. Zelalem or Law must start tomorrow.

26 Feb 2016 11:49:22
Hibs will drop more points than us. There is no way that they will win all remaining games and we will lose three. Just can't see it. We might drop points but so will they.

26 Feb 2016 17:47:41
Well said Craigton Bear, it is inconceivable that a manager with Warb's talents will let this league be lost. Let's not even compare with the 'Super' Ally era.

26 Feb 2016 21:26:04
We'll canter the league, its next season i'm worried about the inconsistency and mistakes will get found out next year but what can you do the hat already knows what the problems are we'll not win the league with the same players and the same system next year, got to buy class to suit the system up front to keep the ball or or buy class in centre defence positions with serious pace but we will eventually get it right of that i'm sure, canny wait to be champions again its on its way.
