I've heard it's a race between Derek McInnes and Callum Davidson. 7 million to pay Gio and backroom staff off and no funds available in January.

Get rid of Gio for 7 million, bring in McInness and don’t give him any funds. Would be getting rid of McInness by the summer.

I cannot believe either of these candidates. Who makes up this nonsense?

If we go for either of them it seems like we will be taking a step back.

If that's the case the club can shove their season books nxt year.

Same as I heard regarding the pay off, but not heard anything on Callum Davidson. Where did his name come from sweep?

7m? Do we just totally make up random numbers these days? Pluck them out the air?

9.) 24 Oct 2022

What about bringing Michael Beale or if doesn’t fancy it then go for Patrick Viera. There are no stand out managers in Scotland.

TJrfc that pay off is about right 7 Million. Gio is on a 5 year deal as is his backroom team. He is only in the job 11 months. I am imagining he is on at least 1.5 million per year and his backroom team will equate to around 500k per year.

11.) 24 Oct 2022
24 Oct 2022 15:06:47
Gio signed a 3.5 year contract has it been extended in the last year.

borna viera on 80k a week plus bonus.

JB72 that's just totally incorrect. He has less than 3 years left, may 2025. And when negotiating managerial compensation, clubs typically agree to pay a year to half of the remaining up front or pay the contract until the manager gets a new job. Wouldn't be anywhere near 7m.

15.) 24 Oct 2022
24 Oct 2022 16:05:36
So £2m a year according to JB1972 and 2.5 years of contract remaining on according to John 26 that equates to £5m so let's assume £4m to sack Gio and backroom staff. Then let’s assume a modest signing on fee of £2m to attract new manager, a total of £6m (salaries excluded) . Now a few on here stating we cannot make any further signings as we are being monitored by UEFA fair play regulations which state expenditure cannot exceed income, but the £6m would be additional expenditure! Correct me if I am wrong.

We've missed the boat on Michael Beale, i'm not ever sure there was a chance we could have got him to stay when Gerrard left for the EPL but now he's in at QPR, he won't come to us.

Only a few days ago he knocked back the chance to go to the premier league with Wolves, stating he had sold a vision to his staff and players recruited in the summer about the long term plan for QPR. He's loyal to them and is enjoying his 1st go at management.

He's hardly going to have a different view on the reasons for staying with QPR only a week ago if Rangers now come calling.

@John26 really? I knew he would be on good money but didn’t realise it was that good. What about Sean Dyche? I think he is currently without a club. I would prefer Michael Beale to be honest.

Am sorry but if it’s those two I would rather keep gio.

Also someone mentioned The palace manager he ain’t going to leave them to come up here.

21.) 24 Oct 2022
24 Oct 2022 17:50:32
13k? Most sites I see for hassenhuttl say he's on 6m a year, 60 odd grand a week. No chance an established Premier league team would pay so little.

22.) 24 Oct 2022
24 Oct 2022 17:57:41
Correct over £6m to pay out the management team. Correct Davidson shortlisted as will cost minimal compensation.

23.) 24 Oct 2022
24 Oct 2022 18:50:29
FruitBear, finally someone who's realistic about Beale - the ships sailed on that I'm afraid. He'll be highly sought after if he gets QPR promoted, no chance will he come back to Scotland.

24.) 24 Oct 2022
24 Oct 2022 19:18:41
cool tj just sky say that he is lowest pains aged in league at 13 k plus bonus.

25.) 25 Oct 2022
25 Oct 2022 18:49:21
Davidson McInnis ???????????????????

If that's the case I quit and park and co better hire security guards like Mr white ????

Seriously sweep has got to be a smelltic fan suggesting those two one knocked us back already and other almost got relegated last year I know we are trying to win league but I didn't think it was first division ??.

26.) 25 Oct 2022

If our board sack gio and appt Davidson or mcinness I'd cancel my subscriptions and not pay a penny for any merchandise. If that's the choice god help us.
