This might sound absolutely absurd but I’m going to put it on here as it’s a rumours forum after all. Was told by a mate who works for an agency who represent a number of players in the premier league including Van Djik and Havertz that Ange Postecoglou is a huge fan of Malik Tillman and prior to us getting him last season had held talks with him. He’s telling me that if he goes to Spurs he is looking to bring him to Spurs. Again, like I say, it sounds absurd but only passing on what I’ve heard.

Agreed that does sound absurd, both of them at Tottenham.
I reckon both will stay at the current clubs there at now.
Bayern and Celtic, With Tillman the more talented of the 2 of them.
Would not be surprised if Steven Gerrard gets the Spurs job,
Ange ain't on the level they need, proven by his zero record in Europe, if he can't achieve anything in Europe except the treble European fail when his team were knocked out at the first stage of all 3 European completion in the same season, he is nowhere near the level spurs are looking for, Gerrard has a solid record in Europe as a manager. thanks to his management of our team during his era, and of course Beale's superb tactical knowledge.

Not going against your info but I can’t see it. He’s not good enough to play for spurs yet. In the future maybe but he’s got a lot in his game he can grow before reaching that level.

People may doubt this but let's face it tillman or ange have zero allegiances to any old firm team. managers are managers and want the best for there team regardless of who they may have played for in the past. look at Scott brown at Fleetwood for example.

I don’t think it sounds absurd that Ange would have previously been looking at Tillman for Celtic. The recruit profiles will now be similar for both clubs in terms of the markets / prices we’re looking at. Thanks, and let us know if you hear any other wee nuggets.

Wouldn’t be surprised if SG gets the spurs job but no to ange ? I needed a laugh today ange is a better manager than SG hands down. Also doesn’t need to worry about Europe with spurs as they ain’t in it.

Do any of you watch spurs? Hojberg plays every week I know he’s a diff style but he’s horrid, Oliver skipp decent but not levels above Tilman Bissouma hasn’t set the world alight, Spurs are crying out for a some creativity in the midfield they missed Bentancur massively when he got injured this wouldn’t surprise me one bit if he went to spurs the first thing a new manager looks at at spurs is the CM area it’s stale and IMO Tilman already good enough.

I think people are letting Thier feelings get in the way on this one.

I'm not saying it's true but why wouldn't someone like spurs want to look at a player that was voted our young player of the year in his first season who scored some good goals and would be nothing to spurs in terms of a transfer fee.

They could even buy him and loan back to a German team.

Rangers and Celtic shop in the same markets historically. It’s not unthinkable that both might have targeted Tillman prior to his move to Rangers. However, Tillman is nowhere near ready for Spurs. The whole point of going to Rangers was to get regular playing time. Spurs want Champions League football and they’ve got over a hundred million to throw at player recruitment this summer. They’ll want the finished article.

Tillman will play in a top league very soon and getting him for 5m is a great bit of business we'll sell him next summer for far more than that, getting a player with his ability for 5m is nothing for the talent he's got, we manage it he'll be best signing of the summer we could spend 10m on a cf in my opinion he's still the best signing his summer, Cifuentes is a player as well.
