Spoke to a very solid course last night on my travels back from Sevilla who has a direct line into the club. A few nuggets as opposed to rumours.

On arrival at the club, PC sat down with all the staff from kitchen to kit and asked them to be part of his team. Assured them that they all play an important role. Has everyone inside.

Players. Up to six will leave. Dowell, Ridvan and in the next two windows, Barasic. Ridvan and BB won't leave in same window obviously. Another three undisclosed players also told their time is up. Open to speculation but you have to think Roofe, McLaughkin and Matondo maybe.

Has told every player that they're playing for their futures through to January and Summer.

Last snippets from the players was the level of arrogance from Beale was off the radar. There was no preseason effectively. He told Lawrence he didn't rate him and could go yet 2 days later in the media spouted about how he's a priority starter.

I'm sure many have heard these tales already but interesting to hear them confirmed by someone who knows for sure.

Hope it means 2-3 new faces in January and some more in the summer.

Anyway, just passing on what I know. I'm away for a sleep after getting home at 2am and regrouping for Hampden tomorrow! ?.

Lol said at the time we didn't take enough games preseason not surprising if training wasn't up to scratch either would explain a lot about our start if true.

Good info. Only thing I have on Beale was that he was very good with the players, very respectful to the players. Although pressure of the job can change anyone I’d guess.

More about the training. Very little running and other endurance work. Beale thought simply playing games was enough. Players hated it and didn’t have any belief in him.

I know a few of the youth coaches and they said that Beales training was very light on running, focussed heavily of games scenarios and that he left the players a lot of personal gym time.

They all rave about PC as a person and as a coach. He's spent a lot of time with them already to ensure they're replicating his methods throughout the age groups - especially in terms of nutrition.

John when we had so many new players should have been more games.

Not all players were playing every game we should have been trying different players different formations.

John all players did not play all games so if a player plays 50% of those games 4 matches in 20 days we have a squad of nearly 30 players and also if you are looking at youth properly you need games.

If those 8 games were only focused around say 18 players I'd say fine.

Correct John our problem was the coach was too inexperienced and his recruitment in the summer was abysmal I actually think MB is a good coach but he's not the main man and he. ll need to learn from his time with us or hhe. ll end up sacked by sunderland.

I know for sure that Beale told the board to sell Lawrence and Dowell was to be his replacement. He made it clear to the board that he did not want any of the players brought in under Gio. The players found out that he was telling them one thing and telling the board another.
