Paul i think i need to make myself clear here mate, i really rate Cifuentes as a footballer, but i was wrong with what i said to raisetheroofe about him not spotting talent, after watching a bit of him later on in a Rangers jersey he was correct with what he said.

Cifuentes is in the same scenario as Yilmaz. Needs a run of games to show what he can do. If we remember Yilmaz was getting written off on here, by some, saying he wasn't good enough after a few sub appearances, had an injury, played a game, missed some games. Now look at him.

Monty the problem with that is the amount of CMs we have. he's not going to get a chance. We only have 2 left backs so easier for ridvan. Cifuentes when diomande comes in is going to be around 5th choice.

My view on Cifu is that there is a player in there but he hasn’t managed to come out since he came to Rangers, other than in very brief flashes.

No need to apologise, My star, you have an opinion, and I have one, mate.
Personally, I don't think he'll be here much longer, and I think coming to Scotland has been a major culture shock for the boy, and I don't see him settling.
You referenced Dessers when making a case for Cifuentes, but even though Dessers can look like a very poor footballer at times, his 12 goals, and 7 assists, have contributed to the team, whereas, Cifuentes has done nothing.
I have nothing against him, but there is not a snowballs chance in hell he's getting in front of any our other midfielders now, so it's best he moves on.
On the subject of Dessers. They say it takes a man to hold his hands up and admit he's wrong, and I for one, really hope I'm on here at the end of the season with my tail between my legs admitting that I was wrong about the big man. I must admit, he is slowly growing on me.

Raisetheroofe it was Yilmaz mate, yes i have an apology mate, couple of mates came over last night for a few refreshments, we got talking about if Cifuentes will get time to settle now with all the other centre mids, anyway one mate has seen him play a good few times when not at Rangers and he has a very similar opinion to me, but watching him last night in a Rangers jersey i mentioned our wee debate (when i mentioned about me saying you can't spot talent) one mate said that was very hard because he hasn't done it in a Rangers Jersey, so apologise again mate because after thinking about last night i was definitely wrong in saying that.
