game last night wasn't the best but it's a win and onto the next round
Brown can howl at the moon wouldn't expect anything else from him
I think Silva is goi g to be a right good player infact he's already showing he's right up for it runs for every ball gets into great positions and has a bit of dig about him how anyone can anything else well is beyond me and I'm not one for usually saying that I want a player to shout for everything he's our player sticking up for our team and club he can shout all day as far as I'm concerned
he's got great ability from what I've seen so far and think he will become very good when he settles in more possibly tried to hard at times but he's a player and one I wish we could afford
Still hold onto that wish of keeping him on another loan next season but highly doubt it
Raskin not at the races unfortunately doesn't show more going forward not sure how long he will have left under clement
Cortes looks a great wee player and more game he gets he will get better
Wright I'm sorry not for me never was not sure how he ever ended up at our club
Thinking he's getting minutes to put in shop window to help move on
Souter has came right onto a game and looking excellent just now he's been rock solid and for me showing up better than Goldson is
Infact go as far to say Goldson for me could be replaced in summer?
Overall minutes in legs and through to next round and we left Brown raging good night overall ?.

Agree about Goldson not same player, add Tav to that and put Sterling in at RB, Tavs great going forward as his amazing goal tally shows, he's
prob asked to play inverted, but feel we suffer as teams target him, mentioned a while back that we need a right side defence upgrade, just my humble opinion.

Fair assessment there mate, I posted pretty much the same about Raskin last night. I just don't see how he improves our midfield. I actually thought Lawerence was better in there against Aberdeen which to be honest I was quite surprised that PC started Lawerence in there, like most I was sure Sterling was a cert. Anyway I think that was quite telling and I do agree with you, I don't think PC rates Raskin all that much and with Diomande now in there, Sterling there and Lunny about to sign a new contract then I think Raskin's days are numbered.

I’m sure raskin will find his form again, never thought he was brilliant but certainly better than he’s showing at the moment. I’m sure he was signed as a defensive midfielder but not sure we have seen him in that role much.

Tend to agree with most you posted stig, my concern is Silva becomes an easy target for opponents and those refs we have in our game.
I wouldn't like to see him curb his passion, but keep his opinions to himself at times, we all suspect some of these refs are a tad dodgy.

Agree with all of that Stig.
I like to think that similar to PC’s approach on injuries around Jack that was talked about this week, he and his staff have been managing Souttar’s recovery from all the injuries he has had in the background with a view to putting that in the past and getting him fully fit and able to avoid more injuries. I have never been a massive Goldson fan and Souttar fully fit and playing regularly would always be first pick at RCB but until we can get that solid LCB they are likely to be the pairing going forward.

Tav won't move on and will still be captian and 1st choice right back next season. When we're attacking down the left he's in thr box and a bigger threat than our strikers.

I think Tav is having one of his best years defensively with rangers.
Raskin will come good I think.
Silva I am unsure about but he won’t be here after the summer anyway. He does need to stop all that whinging and get on with his football.

I'm not sure if Raskin is fully fit but then the same could be said for a number of our players. Thankfully, Clement and our new CEO appear to have addressed the historical issues and things will continue to improve on and off the park.
The summer should see us move a number of players on that are out of contract and have either had major injury issues or have just not been good enough to be Rangers players.
Personally I would like to see us bring in a quality new centre back, hopefully Souttar will stay fit and continue to improve, only time will tell but Goldson isn't getting any younger, Davies is not what we need and Balogun's contract is up at the end of the season. I don't see any ready made replacements currently at the Club.

GR4, he may be fit to kay but he`s not match fit or match sharp. Just like Lawrence, Matondo, Jack and others the manager will continue to give him minutes but not full games . Lawrence was pretty poor when he came back but we can see the benefit of playing him, now beginning to pay off. It will hopefully be the same for Raskin . Its a bit early to write him off I think.

Berkshire good post, the manager has clearly stated several players are not fit enough to last ninety minutes in the past week
In fact in his interviews in the last week he has stated Jack lawrence raskin cantwell demande Davies Cortez r not fit enough
He is managing these players and the squad very well imo.

Sorry wslgers, PC also said that he would not play players who were not ready to play. His poor performances are not down to any aspect of fitness.

I think the manager has been protecting poor form players with that statement John. If you take Raskin and Cantwell both were taken off at HT against Hibs and then Cantwell again at HT against St Mirren. We can all see the difference in Cantwell after being subbed twice, he is moving the ball a helluva lot quicker rather than taking too many touches. In my opinion the "fitness" talk from PC was protecting Cantwell.
Raskin has had plenty minutes but can't seem to take his opportunity and again I think is being protected by PC.
Jack we know is injury prone, and Dio and Cortes were not playing a lot of minutes not because of fitness but more to do with getting up to speed with how we play.
