Gio mentioned last night that Jack wasn't fully fit and that he wanted everyone on the bench to be ready to play.
I'm sure he'll be working had to get up to speed.

Can't just chuck him in after such a bad injury and recovery, he'll need to build up minutes slowly. Livy away on a frozen carpet and then a tight game at Easter road are not the games to put him in. Games like Saturday at home to Dundee be a mire realistic game for him to get a run out (similar to when he came on against ross County)

Unfortunately he is looking like a bit player, and if as John25 says he is still having issues, we may have to bite the bullet and go without him.
After all we've managed 8 months already without him really.

I feel sorry for Jack if his injury is still niggling him with swelling after training sessions, he offers so much to the team so hopefully he gets back to full fitness soon!

Sadly think he's only ever going to be a bit part player. Even before the injury he was on special training regime to manage him. Just can't see him playing regularly for us again.

Am I right in thinking that the specialists down south haven't got to the root of the problem and this is something that Jacks going to have to live with? If so that's such a shame for the man. Very rarely did he let us down on the park.

Paul, yes i mentioned that, the Ross County game. that's the kind of games to give him minutes to get back up to speed. Not start games on a poor pitch or a tough away fixture. If what John says is true then he needs more time to manage himself, in truth he may never get back to where he was before, we just need to be patient with him and hope for the best.

John25 do you know if the boy Baccuna is maybe not fully fit then as he hasn’t even been on the bench in the last 2 games or is it a case of the management not rating him or a bad attitude as many Huddersfield fans have said this about him. Bags of potential but stinking attitude.

Hope to god it's not an Alan McLaren scenario with Ryan Jack. I remember Alan having a problem with swelling in the knee after every match that eventually resulted in him having to pack in 😒.

I think gio will use the winter shut down to properly assess all the players and properly imprint his style of play on the team, as he can't possibly do anything meaningful with team in this hectic run of game.
Yes we have won the last 3 games but we are still not firing in large chunks of the game.
Atm we have only seen Hagi and Kent in gio winger system. Which is our best but will be interesting to see how it goes if and when he replaces Davis with Lumpstrum or Jack if fit, hagi with Wrighty, Kent with Bacuna or Fashion and Morelas with Roofe. Ps not all st the same time. still a lot options for our team
Regarding big Conner, I would bring back big Katic in Jan and hopefully big phil will be fit again. Play them 2 and poss sign the dutch boy. Then try and get a million for Goldson.
I also wouldn't right off big Itton just yet as SG never really played to the big guys strengths ie when we signed him he was the focal point of the attack and was scoring on a regular basis. imho he would maybe benefit from a winger system. time will tell.
