Good to see a few changes in the squad today and Gio not afraid to leave out Kent and Davis who for me both of them haven't had great games the past 2 matches. Going for a big win today 4-0 Rangers. With Alfie and the Zambian Prince getting on the scoresheet.

What's everyone's predictions for tonight's game? Do you think we will see a more defensive team tonight. I think with Bassey at centre back we will be a lot more equipped to deal with the pace of Boyle but think we could still concede a goal or two. I am going for 3-2 to us with Arfield on the score sheet again.

Depends on what Hibs turn up. The one that lost to Ross County would get soundly horsed while the cup semi final one would be hard to beat but definitely not unbeatable. I'm going for 3-1 for us tonight.

The same Hibs will turn up as always do against us the ones trying their best as if their life's depends on it. I think it will be tight tonight but I think we will sneak a win 1-0 as long as we don't fall back into the same traps as the cup game. Need another clean sheet to give the defence more confidence.

First time post but been coming on the site for a couple of years now.
While I can't get my head around Gerrard going mid season. Top of the league, in all 3 cup competitions and just about to face the most important run of fixtures since Dec/ Jan last season I can't help but think maybe he has taken us as far as he can in his eyes due to financial constraints ie not being given money to spend on the players to challenge in Europe. Something has not been right all season so far with this team to go from solid at the back and free flowing attacking football of last season to some of the performances witnessed this season I don't understand it at all. Is it a case of he can see that rotten mob strengthening in January and is worried that we can't retain the title so he is jumping ship now so it's not going to damage his managerial reputation losing his first title defence to a character from Home and Away? Out of Europe before Christmas and let's face it his cup record since coming to us hasn't been great so there's potential for that to be over come the end of January too? He said it after the Sparta game you need to spend to compete at this level. We have just posted losses of 23.5 million. There will be zero spent unless he sells and maybe he doesn't want to weaken or disrupt the squad to do this and the club can't match his ambition. For him to say two weeks ago "do I look happy, why are you asking me silly questions" to this today it's mind boggling. It's all ifs and buts and this has consumed my day at work and since I have been in the door.

It’s football mate full to the gunnels with dishonesties and treachery, , there is no loyalty now, I’ve gone overboard tonight, but I’ve never seen such open treacherous behaviour, if he is indeed talking to villa, but nothing points to anything less, I’m not upset with him going, I’ve never been sure of his managerial capability to be honest, but this is not the way.

Storm Tav to Villa? Do you think he would get a game ahead of the boy Cash? Can’t see it. Maybe as a back up but would he leave a club where he is the captain and a guaranteed starter every game to sit on vlllas bench? Would happily take £35,000,000 for both Kent and Hagi. Invest 15/ 20 back in the squad to see us through to 56 and then CL money then big rebuild in the summer. Keepin Aribo at Ibrox until the summer is a must though if we want to retain the title then who knows maybe he will sign a new deal and get a crack at CL.

John25 do you know if the boy Baccuna is maybe not fully fit then as he hasn’t even been on the bench in the last 2 games or is it a case of the management not rating him or a bad attitude as many Huddersfield fans have said this about him. Bags of potential but stinking attitude.
