Been on my hols and now catching up on the crack.
This ticket allocation farse needs to stop. Need to ve back to 7-8000 away fans. We only put it in play as we were a shammbles and that lot were pumping us all the time. They days are gone. U want the atmosphere back. Got to showcase the game and the club WILL MAKE MORE MONEY. We can charge briefs at 60 quid a pop x 8000. 480,000 extra per game against them. Nearly 1 mill per seaon. It can be done ut cups so shoukd be same in league!

Give them nothing! The thought of Rangers fans losing out to accommodate that shower gives me the boak! I want them nowhere near Ibrox!

It’s not going to happen it wouldn’t be fair to season ticket holders. I’d prefer the European allocation which was about 3k then nobody has to miss the game but a few get moved.

I'm assuming you're a Rangers fan with a season ticket elsewhere in the stadium who is quite prepared to give up your seat to accommodate those that have bought a season ticket for the Broomloan?
And we have loads of fans on here vilifying the UB ( quite rightly ) for some of their songs but you are quite wiling to have 7500 Celtic fans bring there brand of bile with them?

Fans crying about other fans coming is embarrassing it gives a great atmosphere to the game something it’s no had for years best derby to a shadow of itself. They partied to hard and we spat the dummy.

Right with you there big Ben ?
Is this not the famous John Bhoy Walton btw?

I’m not sure why concerning ourselves about what they sing has anything to do with it.
In Europe we need to provide 5% of the official capacity in a safe area.
That should be the benchmark we should be working to and therefore all season books should get in.

So we charge them 60 quid a pop, it will them be vice versa, so will cost our fans 60 quid, OK if you can afford it, then we are back to selling season tickets minus cetic games, how do you decide how that works, does it mean you have ballot of all ticket holders, to see who ends up missing celtic games. or are you just going to penalise current broomlan ticket holders,

Don’t know how it benefits us, I don’t want any of them in our stadium.

So the UB are an embarrassment at times in the quality of atmosphere they bring.
But we are quite content for nearly the full stadium to be 90 minute bigots when 7500 Tims come to town twice a season?
Let's chuck out a couple of hundred Rangers fans for singing outdated songs and replace them with 7500 fans singing outdated bile filled songs.
Lovely. ?‍♂️
Hypocrisy at it's finest.

Would you give up your ticket for an old firm to accommodate them? I know I wouldn’t so why do you think it would be ok to chuck thousands of loyal and paying Rangers supporters oot their seats so you can bring in that shower so it looks better on Tv? Get a grip of yourself.

This ticket allocation start with one mans wrong decision. Spitting out the dummy.

Mainly for more money and many bills less for policeing it so it saved a ton of money.

I'm in the camp of just leave it the way it is now.
There was not many on here when it happened not seeing the big picture. Not to going crazy about it but other forums where lighting up about it.

Celtic and rangers will save plenty of money and make plenty extra money the way it is now.

Plus police Scotland will have a simpler life.
So I guess it works for all parties.
It's a shame that it comes to this. It's sad he started this.

John boy we’d make that amount gross, then you have to deduct the cost of fumigating the place after they’ve gone so it would hardly be worth it.

I can see both sides of the argument totally. Personally i would prefer the atmosphere to be the way it was, just feel like there is something missing now and some of the joy taken away when you score against them too.

What gets me is, we as a club complain we don't get a fair TV deal and that the SPFL are downplaying our great spectacle - namely the old firm match, is worth X amount per game. While at the same making it less of a spectacle ourselves.
Both sets of fans MAKE IT the old firm and the great spectacle it was, not the wee japanese guys vs our mix of nationalities. Now its getting like a game vs Aberdeen, noisy first 15 mins then a bit 'meh'.

If celtic give Rangers 8k behind the goal instead of sticking them in a corner I'd be happy but until that happens give them nothing. I remember being at a OF and the view in that corner was a joke. Celtic fans don't see it as a Derby anymore so imo they get the same allowance as the rest until rangers get 8k behind the goal.

It should have been cut years earlier, I’ve been stuck in the corner were it isn’t a great view but they get the full stand behind the goals. I’d be quite happy to let none of them in. Plus I would rather our own fans than theirs.

If you are part where you loose a seat if they get 7500, watch it on the telly. Its a disgrace some guys on here not wanting other supporters in the stadium and a reasonable amount. Embarrassing! Enough said. Makes me sick. We try to pronote the game in best possible light but clowns as usual drag it back down!

Good points by Andy and makes it easier for the police as well. This way the home fans get priority and there’s no nonsense about toilets getting vandalised etc.

Aby one else concerned that the rest of the league are now cutting away support to a few hundred? This has snowballed and I'm in the camp of a decent amount should be allowed in . My boy goes to the away games but will be lucky to get to any the way things are going . absolute shambles and I include all the clubs in this, sort it out and make it a spectacle.

Cammy bell there is safety issues with where u put fans from missiles some dangerous, some disgusting, fans jumping down to fight, turnstile problems, access to the stand itself.
Not as simple as giving x amount of seats behind a goal mate.
Certainly the % should match both sets of fans per away game but it’s sometimes easier said than done.
