The Rangers captain should be an international player. They should have the class to get into a squad. This is a disapointing time 7 players called up and probably one or two will play. Souter and Jack have no chance of a game. Thoughts.

If Tavernier were Scottish he would have walked into the team but its a lot harder getting into the England team. Guys like Kent and Goldson too would have been regular Scotland starters. We have three players in the Scotland squad who wouldn`t get near the England squad, in fact most of the Scotland squad wouldn`t get near the England team. So, what you are saying is that if Tavernier was a regular starter for San Marino or Gibralter it would be okay for him to be our captain but not as it stands because he`s English. Its what he does for the club that makes him our captain.

Agreed Fez. Tav needs replaced as captain. We need to sign one. Decent player tav I say that as good attacking, garbage defending. Should have got Lewis Ferguson when we could. He would have been that man.

You earn your stripes at club level, international honours are a bonus, prime example Stevie Bruce when he was captain of Man Utd only got capped at England B level and he would have walked into the Rangers team.

See, posts like this make me very suspicious. With everything that's going on with the club you post something as bizarre as this, why? Then, to make me more suspicious, I look at your only other post, and you start it by saying "Hello Hello"? Schoolboy error, you tried to hard to look staunch, but all you managed to do was fail fail.
There's a poster on here who calls me a tim because of my criticism of Beale, but take a look at this joker's first post and what he wrote, it's a beauty.

Wow. Everyone is a Tim for not agreeing with you. I 100% agree Tav should not be captain. He has won literally nothing. He is the consistency for the last 6 years. Managers have came and gone. He has stayed. Good attacker, rotten defender. He looks as inspiring as a wet jellyfish to be frank. That's just my opinion.
