Ed&Fellow Bears Help.
I was asked a question last night by a mate, and I'm struggling with the answer. It was Name 11 Rangers players in the last 25 years(1995)who's name start and end in the same letter, I think I've managed to get 8, (I won't say them yet in case you want a guess, one of my answers was Nigel Sparkman, but that was wrong, would appreciate some help if anyone knows.Cheers.fibj

Hi fellow bears.
Having a wee drink tonight and sitting reflecting on all that has gone on these last few years and feeling very emotional.People ask me how can I be so passionate about a football club, and I tell them to wear a Rangers scarf for a day and then they will see why.The four lads who started the dream, Bill struth, Willie Waddell, Jim Baxter, Jock Wallace, Davie Cooper, Sandy Jardine and the many many others all true blues, I hope your all looking down today and have a wee smile on your faces, Your memory will live on, and so will your beloved club Glasgow Rangers.

God bless Dave King, and his pals, without them we would never have been the same again, ever, we are so fortunate that we have such passionate fans, that's because we are not an ordinary club, we are.RANGERS, not any club, we really are an institution,
To the people who didn't stand the that of Dave winning, u lost,! The gers won!

2.) 06 Mar 2015 23:01:49
Great post mate, totally agree with everything you said, some people just don't understand what glasgow rangers means to us true blues, to support the most successful & greatest football club in the world ie.the famous glasgow rangers is a way of life passed through you're family, my late dad passed it on to me and I've been in love with the teddy bears from birth, god rest his soul!

3.) 06 Mar 2015 23:14:31
J R, Your dad will be looking down pal with a big smile.

Paul Murray has been there since the liquidation trying to get the club on the correct footing and he has to be applauded more than anyone for his determination.
We also have to be thankful to Dave king and the three bears and most importantly all the fans who believed we could beat the shysters who were using our club as easy money based on all our loyalty.
The most important thing we need to get back, more than beating celtic, is the clubs integrity and honesty which has been severely lacking since SDM lead us into the precarious state we are in now.
The most important thing for our club is to regain our standing and integrity more than any championship we have ever won as that is who we are and who rangers are, unfortunately this has been lost over the last few years because of the conmen who blead our club for every penny they could.
But now is the time to be positive. It will take time and pain but at least we have the right men to lead us now.
Thank you Dave king and the three bears but most importantly thank you to everyone of the fans who bought shares, stopped buying merchandise form sports direct and stood up for OUR GREAT CLUB

8.) 07 Mar 2015 08:22:06
Gents, I totlally agree with the above posts. This club be is not what some people choose to follow but are born into and was close to being dragged to hell for good, as the new board rightly pointed out. I have been very fortunate to site with my parents in the Broomloan rd growing up, friends in the enclosure and my own family in the Copland rd. This can now continue for everyone who is a part of this great club.

Rangers now and Rangers forever.

9.) 07 Mar 2015 09:07:53
Tommy agree with most of what you say mate, apart from getting the punters in to fix the stadium. Its not the village rugby pavillion, as you say we are Rangers, an institution. We will be restored to greatness inside and out soon enough.

10.) 07 Mar 2015 10:41:20
A wee post to all my fellow bears who like myself were thinking of loved ones we've all lost and with yesterday's fantastic win for king & co probably made us think we would have done anything 4 our loved ones to have been here to see this, they will be looking down and smiling and always with us so here's to absent friends who we'll never forget!God bless them!

11.) 07 Mar 2015 11:10:18
Hear hear mate.

12.) 07 Mar 2015 13:56:05
Gkk, I thought it would be good to get unemployed or guys with skills and spare time the chance to be inside Ibrox, helping to fix what is broken, only a thought, all the best m8

13.) 07 Mar 2015 15:03:26

Hi Jr. Its Stuart McCall all the way for me,i Remember a few years ago I went to watch Plymouth v Sheffield united at home park he was assistant manager to Neil Warnock, McCall was out on the pitch before the game putting the players through their paces,i was standing near to the tunnel and on the way off the pitch he noticed my Rangers top, he came straight over and spent the next ten minutes talking about everything Rangers, he absolutely loves this club,i know that just because someone loves a club that it doesn't necessarily make them a good manager, but I've no doubts whatsoever that Stuart McCall is the right man for the job of taking Rangers back to the top, it might take a wee bit longer than a lot of fans want, but he will get us there,i just hope some fans will be patient, and allow him the time to build his own team.

I'm also a proud scot, but don't really care much about the international team, its not because of any type of bitterness, as a wee boy many years ago I used to love watching Scotland but the older I got the less interested I became, I hope they win and do well, but it won't effect me in any way whether I see the game on TV or not.I much prefer watching club matches than internationals.

Hear Hear. That was one of the saddest days of my life when I heard Supercoop had died, I seen him score some great goals, but the one that sticks in my mind was against Hibs at Ibrox if memory serves me correctly it was a league cup semi final 2cnd leg, what a goal, at least he got to play for the team he loved and boy could he play.
