Friend of mine has just told me weir has convinced Leon osman and Tony hibbert to sign a one year deal to help rangers compete this year, I personally do t think it's true but bin told it by my mate who is actually good mates with hibbo so don't no y he would make this up, what's your thoughts on that lads, ps good luck this season boys.

Tony hibbert good player in my opinion and never got the plaudits he deserved at everton.

Leon Osman would do a job, good on the ball and a grafter too! Hibbert not one I'm out my seat about but has experience and undoubtedly a better defensive option than Tav!

don't think hibbert is better than tav no chance tav had three bad denfensive games all season the rest he was solid and a great attacking threat which is what you want a wb to be.

Joey Barton should be made your captain not suspended, rangers are not coming out ov this with any respect from anyone the way it's been handled.

Says who? The whole world knows what Barton is like, his past history speaks for itself. If there was trouble it's because he instigated it there were no problems with the harmony of the team last year.

If any player speak out against management he must be reprimanded. The Club has acted correctly, except whoever leaked the story.
We'll move on, Barton might change me back and dig in to fight his place up or he'll ask for his contract to be terminated. Will either be the making or end his Ibrox career, it's ip to him.

Barton has a past but if you know him personally you realise he just loves winning and if he has told some home truths then it's because the players in question needed the kick up the back side he loves football and he will want absolutely nothing more than to win the league at rangers.

The guy that seems to have been the most vociferous in the argument with Barton was Halliday. What Barton said is true, Halliday couldn't take it. He should have been dealt with by the Management as well. I agree that Barton needed to have action taken against him for his argument with Warburton but Halliday should also have been suspended. For me he just can't accept that he is no where near good enough for Rangers! Playing in a crap league like the Championship does not make his good enough for the SPL. I just hope that Rossiter gets the role that Barton was playing and that Halliday at best is on the bench.

Tom, unless you know exactly what was said, how do you know Halliday couldn't handle it. Barton is a scumbag, we knew this before he arrived. He hasn't changed, and possibly/ probably, his presence in the dressing room has had a detrimental effect. Get rid of him, and watch how the Celtic fans start clinging to every word as he bad mouths Rangers. He has been a mistake, and an expensive mistake.

I never wanted Barton- but I am disgusted by many of the comments from so called fans.
I hope we do see him in a rangers shirt- if nothing else to irritate those who are condemning him without knowing the full circumstances.
All we know is the pathetic leak from club- how would you like your boss to publicly scapegoat you and try to force you out of your job?
