I fully expect Goldson to go he started to decline significantly in 2nd half in particular of last season before being left out of squad before he got injured, the fact he’s on £38k per week and that we could get a decent fee makes it a no brainer.
Tav thought I would keep unless we get a fee of £5m plus for him. Personally splitting him and Goldson up might be a good thing but I would give armband to Sterling and take that pressure off Tavs shoulders as he’s almost always available to play and scores some vital goals (not always pens) for the club.

Aye OK there may be a place for lesser games, had a few posts with stevie about this recently, but will our captain want to be managed to that extent, I don't think he would. Also TGR he concedes too or is at fault, but agree he is gd on front foot, no legs to get back now to do his defensive duties, in the past he had that energy, its gone now. imho.

We will never get a full back to come in and be able to do what Tav does, he gives us so much going forward crosses, goals, assists, penalties, and I do agree his defence lacks at times.
You don't know what you got till it's gone and he's been immense for us, and if he does go, yeah we might get a bit of a better defender. But nobody's going to be close to what he brings us going forward.

I can’t see us being that lucky that someone will offer big money for tav and let’s face it ranger always under sell or let players walk when they should have sold earlier.
It’s obvious tavs starting to loose a bit and he’s never been a great defender however I do think he’s still best long range shooter at club and can’t see why we don’t even try to play him as right midfielder with a proper right back behind him might strengthen that whole right side.
Tav has to stop or leave eventually is it not better to get some sort of fee to reinvest even 5 million could get us two potential good players.

Che Adams on pre contract arriving end of season . Imo I would say no but this is what I've been told. Loan until end of season then option to buy maybe be better option. Thoughts.
