Not been in for a while guys but if we're talking Scottish players I would be after watt, graham, other players in the league I like are longelo wakanise, elija, halkett but his injury probably put paid to that, but if it was me watt Graham would be a must.

I'm 99.9 % sure Graham ain't happening, but always that % tho.
28 May 2026 01:21:33
You should have said something, David.
28 May 2026 09:42:38
Nice one, Tom. Succinct.
28 May 2026 15:54:32
Another snide remark from TT.

He is in Dodel, here's to a good recruitment and we get off to a flyer.
27 May 2026 11:51:54
Good post dc. i'm also enjoying reading all the posts and discussions. a lot of really good info and points of view being shared. Looks like there's a lot more to come as well in the transfer window as well. Looking forward to it
27 May 2026 15:56:38
Isn't it such a nice place when we aren't dropping points every weekend. What it should be like.
27 May 2026 21:17:17
Nice to have a weekend not ruined. ππππ
27 May 2026 08:37:35
John, not putting you in the spot, but from memory I think you mentioned a couple of weeks ago that we had a couple of players pretty much agreed (sorry John if this wasn't you - but was definitely one of the guys close to these matters)
Not looking for names, but wondered if you might share what positions these players play in and whether or not they have experience in SPL?
Thanks.

Can't remember if there was a CB in there too?
27 May 2026 14:59:19
Bear, we need to be patient, better saying nothing. If I say d midfield and we play him on the right, the moaners say I'm wrong. I've said I won't name names till window is over, as many say our rumours bring nothing as it will be in papers. Sorry Bears, Bear.
The spoiler team have spoiled what was an excellent rumour page.
27 May 2026 15:50:47
Far more enjoy your posts and rumours, John, than those that would put u down. As regularly said, until scarf is over their head and all is signed, lots can change, so your info is correct at the time. Even then can still collapse like Jardel.
28 May 2026 07:45:07
John, I get where you're coming from with spoilers, but they only ruin it if you let them. I'm currently sticking my neck on the line, saying Graham ain't signing. If I'm wrong, so be it. We all, or should I say most of us all, realise it's rumours, and things can change at the last minute regarding signings.

How about Barron plus cash to Bologna for Ferguson π.

26 May 2026 20:36:18
Would Bologna not need to want Barron?
26 May 2026 21:27:21
Apparently they have interest, John.
26 May 2026 21:55:24
Who says they are interested? As I haven't seen anywhere not saying it isn't true, just asking?
26 May 2026 22:57:50
Keep Barron.
27 May 2026 07:26:18
Blue89, correct, few clubs in Italy interested in Barron, Bologna is one of them.
27 May 2026 08:03:18
Is it not that there are rumours that there is interest for Barron from a few clubs in Italy. Nothing official. So totally different. Bit like there being interest in Ferguson from us probably.
27 May 2026 08:15:07
Yes, Angus, just media talk, but Blue89 must have seen it.
27 May 2026 10:55:28
That is what I ams align, Star. Someone has seen a rumour. How many rumours have there been of players we are reported to have interest in that haven't come to fusion for many reasons? Ferguson, I think, is hope, as we have stopped winning and it is because we don't have 'Rangers men' in the team.
Personally, I don't care who they support and just want winners. Lots of other winning teams don't have supporters in them; in fact, supporting the team may make them try too hard and be negative on performance.
28 May 2026 07:45:59
I did read an Italian team had interest, but never said who.
26 May 2026 18:40:29
Excellent news π
Have a good feeling about this summer now
Think we're going to build a strong team.

26 May 2026 20:30:42
All good having individuals, Stingo, not good if they can't form a team. Think we'll see a few experienced players with leadership qualities signed this window, mate. Like to see more Scottish players, Penrice, McCrorie spare fullbacks, and good enough for pushing for a start, and Luke Graham, that would be my first choice three.
We can manage Lewis Ferguson, he'd jump right to the front.
26 May 2026 21:55:39
We say that every year Stig.
26 May 2026 22:33:53
And, we go again, Stig. Every year lately the same. ππ
26 May 2026 22:58:19
Haha, I know.
But, we have to believe it will happen one year, and this year I'm all in on it.
As someone else said, it couldn't get any worse finishing 3rd.
Think we're going to really build a successful team this year, one to bring back the Ibrox Roar.
Treble for me next season, feel it in my bones. πππ
27 May 2026 06:30:23
I'm with u, Stig, much more positive for next season. Especially compared to last year, knowing it would be a complete disaster.
27 May 2026 18:17:08
Stig, keep being positive and, like the broken clock, we will eventually be right. I hope, like you, it will be this year.
26 May 2026 13:11:05
Update from Rangers Review today is:
Shankland will be announced this evening
Windass is not a target confirmed by Ibrox sources
There has been no bid for Elliot Watt but he is shortlisted for the 6 position
A deal to sign Dan Neil is not close to agreement but we are in talks
We have held initial talks with Luke Graham but no official approach has been made to Dundee and he is just shortlisted at this point.

Thanks Ayrshire, good information. π
26 May 2026 15:36:03
I'm hearing something completely different on Watt. And from a family member too. Maybe they are doung the old club shill bit and saying no offer because it's not an official offer.
26 May 2026 16:05:09
Thanks Ayrshire.
27 May 2026 09:39:54
Ayrshire, sorry but that's rubbish regarding Graham. We would need to take an official approach to Dundee to even speak to Graham. He's under contract, so what you're saying is we're tapping a player then?
27 May 2026 11:29:21
Davie, agents talk to clubs all the time. Nothing new here.
27 May 2026 11:45:09
Gees, so we're tapping players. I get agents talk to clubs touting their players, but we certainly have not held talks with Graham. Maybe asking an agent of availability possibly.
27 May 2026 12:59:49
Davie, you are right. A football club can only legally talk to a contracted player or their agent under the following specific circumstances:
Official Club Permission: The buying club obtains written permission from the player's current club. This typically happens after the two clubs have agreed on the parameters of a transfer fee.
The Final Six Months: If the player is entering the final six months of their contract, they are permitted to sign a pre-contract agreement with a new team. In this scenario, the buying club is free to negotiate directly with the player or their agent without asking their current club.
Release Clause Trigger: If a player has a valid release clause (or buyout clause) in their contract and an interested club meets that specified valuation, the current club is obligated to grant the player permission to negotiate personal terms.
Attempting to negotiate directly with a player or their agent without meeting these conditions is strictly prohibited by governing bodies like FIFA and is known as "tapping up".
Perhaps by approach it is meant that he has been asked if he would be interested in moving. That, I think, is within the laws.
01 Jun 2026 11:56:03
So what happens if a player who signs wants to, in his contract, he can talk to any higher ranked club than the one he's at.
Would that not render rules about approaching invalid?
26 May 2026 09:11:42
Dan Neil next in the door it would seem

26 May 2026 10:29:11
I think he's the type of player we've been missing or perhaps too reliant on Barron. I hope we get this over the line.
26 May 2026 10:44:38
Chris Jack said this morning that there is interest but it's not close to being done. Debunked the Windas rumours as well.
26 May 2026 10:48:18
Dado, you'll know I Barron, mate, but Niel is an improvement in most departments, more technical, better range of passing, he'll win more duels, but get this, more workrate, if that's even possible, because Barron is everywhere, he is always voicing his leadership on the park, he plays like he did for Sunderland, he'll be loved at Rangers very quickly.
26 May 2026 11:58:26
Yeah, I agree, my star, I do believe he's an improvement from Barron, who does do well for us. I'd hope that signing Neil might take some pressure off him.
26 May 2026 12:55:36
Should have been rated what Barron brings.
26 May 2026 13:16:20
Star, I don't want my number 6 to be all over the place, though. I want him to sit and link play and cover the back 2 (our FBs will be rampaging up wings). So, depends what that work rate is, though.
26 May 2026 13:32:54
Angus, he's playing our 6, he won't be all over the park, mate, he'll control the game. I'm only talking about his workrate, from the 1st minute until the 90th.
26 May 2026 15:03:12
Seem to remember you talking folk down on Dowell as well Mystar, maybe it would be better if we wait and see firstly if he joins, which I don't know if he will. That's two teams now rejected him after getting to Prem, why are you or others not asking why?
Still think he's using our name to drum up headlines and interest.
I agree he's the right profile, but how many Prem teams would be interested to buy if two have already passed, even if he does do well for us? Should we not be targeting players that could end up drawing Premier League interest.
26 May 2026 15:26:21
Deary dear, Forever, who has rejected him like? Or you just making stuff up? He's out of contact at Sunderland, he decides who he signs for anyone, massive difference with Niel, I've seen him play hundreds of games, not like Dowell.
Lampard wants him at Coventry, league they in? Loved in Sunderland and will be loved in Glasgow if he signs. And this talking folk down, pissing myself man, more stuff you're making up gofor. My opinion means talking others down, heard it all now. π
26 May 2026 15:44:31
Sorry mystar but if a club does not give you a contract as a home grown player that helped get you up how is that not a rejection.
And again its funny how you go to try insult people instead of talking the point shows a bit about your character or lack of it.
Have you even ever admited you were wrong on Dowell was he not a flop at Rangers?
Was cifuentes not a flop?
Was Rothwell not a flop?
You like to put people down mystar but can't see your own flaws
And again did i say he wouldn't do well at Rangers i merely posed a question of why two teams have not taken him to Prem with them and asked should we not be asking why.
26 May 2026 16:44:31
Never done it a Rangers jersey, does that make them bad players, gofor? You're someone else, mate. Putting down is only in your head, I give my option, if you see that as bringing others down, that is nothing more than laughable.
You said clubs, he never got a contract at Sunderland because they'll just spend 30m on a cm.
26 May 2026 16:45:34
Don't you think Lampard could spot a cm gofor? He's wanting him at Coventry.
26 May 2026 17:07:17
Something else even. βΊοΈ
26 May 2026 17:50:18
Star was correct in saying Diwell was a good footballer. He was highly regarded at Everton and expected to be much better, sadly he hasn't kicked on anywhere really, some just don't go forward.
Star is knowledgeable enough in football terms. You only tell us that you told us all everything long ago, guessing is what that's called.
26 May 2026 21:58:00
Dowell was terrible, but it's pointless forever. Wouldn't waste your time on him. This place is great now, I can't see what he posts. π
Rothwell was a player also and so was Cifu. π Remember those.
27 May 2026 09:57:28
Aye Tom, thinking Dowell or Rothwell are bad footballers because then never cut at Rangers, that tells me enough.
27 May 2026 13:04:33
I wish I was so dreadful as a player that I got to play 21 times in the English Premier League and 137 times in the Championship (Dowell or for Rothwell 31 times in EPL and 215 times in Championship). They must have been really dreadful. π
27 May 2026 14:22:55
Angus, bad players play in good leagues all the time and I judge them on what happens at Rangers as I don't care about elsewhere and they were rotten.
27 May 2026 14:47:34
Spot on Angus, the reason that tells me enough about they posters.
01 Jun 2026 12:02:49
Tom, you are also missing the point. Where did I say they were not good down in England.
In fact, I've already stated that I agreed with Mystar that a couple were good footballers before Rangers.
My point is it doesn't work out for what seems like most players from that level here, and we should not be bigging them up anymore until they actually perform. Also, Mystar has a tendency to put others down if they don't agree with his lofty assessment of players, and never admits to being wrong, something we all are at times.
He also likes to say people said stuff they didn't to suit his narrative.
Storm obviously gets it with his comment. You would think by now, with the amount of English league flops we've signed, that others would get it too.
01 Jun 2026 12:08:27
And, for the record, many Ipswich fans are saying he was rank rotten and they've been watching him far closer than any of us.
01 Jun 2026 12:09:05
And again, for cheap seats, that doesn't mean he won't do well here, just that we should temper expectations.
