I would like to see the following at the Gers:
Lissah
Graham
Gogic
Watt
Aribo
Stick with Chermiti, Miovski and Naderi.
Give more playing time to Barron, Cameron and Curtis.
Let go Butland, Sterling, Aasgaard, Bajrami, Gassama.

Wouldn't be selling either Aasgaard or Gassama, Batmo.
Graham, Watt and Lissah, I'd be happy with they three.
23 May 2026 14:09:22
I think it depends on Gassama's price, my star. Were there not rumours of £8m in January from Monaco? If so, that's great business in my opinion.
23 May 2026 14:23:53
I hope that's not Tony Watt. 😂
23 May 2026 14:47:19
We ain't signing Graham.
23 May 2026 17:07:09
Davie, why is that.
23 May 2026 17:37:34
Graham would potentially be a good signing for me.
23 May 2026 19:29:18
Graham signs, he'll be our lcb next season.
23 May 2026 20:15:37
If we are signing him, then, like Fernadez, he will take a while to become a first team player for us, I feel. I think he is decent, but one with potential rather than a stick on starter.
23 May 2026 20:30:13
I asked this the other night. Has Aribo played well last season (just past) or based on what he did with us?
23 May 2026 20:53:38
Angus, I don't think he'll be as long Fernandez, seen him a good few times for Falkirk a couple of years ago, very raw then but he had something, only seen him a handful of times since, but only heard very good things about him, wouldn't mind him and Souttar squad players, but think Graham will kick on with better quality around him.
23 May 2026 21:12:21
Star, I have watched a few times and think he will be decent. I like the way he is happy to carry the ball forward from defence when I have watched. We need that.
I just think it takes time for these 'development' players to come and settle. It isn't just ability which counts playing for us, mentality is much more important imo.
23 May 2026 21:47:19
A player I'd like to sign that I don't see mentioned very often is Longelo. I'm not clever enough to know if he'd be able to play in our team or not, but think he'd be a cracking back up for Rommens. Would prefer him to Penrice. Reminds me of Bassey when he played at full back.
22 May 2026 14:07:41
Just thinking before Ajax and Schalke are rumoured to be sniffing around Rice are we being a bit premature in not trying to get him to stay? Ajax esp have an almost unparalleled reputation for having a fantastic youth system so clearly know a promising youngster when they see one.

22 May 2026 15:24:27
I'm pretty sure we attempted to retain his services.
22 May 2026 15:53:41
Mass, he has rejected at least two offers.
22 May 2026 18:01:22
Ah, ok. I wasn't aware he had rejected offers. Well, good luck to the boy wherever he goes.
22 May 2026 19:10:56
Mass, he wants a chance to play football.
23 May 2026 07:18:36
He isn't going to be playing for Ajax or Schalke or Forest, the names I've seen mentioned. Still, think we could keep him if we agree to loan him to a good Prem team.
23 May 2026 07:37:07
Kaiser, the difference is taste, those teams have U21 and U23 that he can continue his development in.
23 May 2026 07:53:10
Ehl, will his physicality and recovery in a match situation be addressed? I mind you touched on it previously that his numbers were down in this area.
23 May 2026 10:09:29
Fork, I think he needs to play in a more challenging environment to progress.
Which is why I think U21 / U23 will be perfect for him, as his technical abilities will allow him to be competitive whilst developing physically.
23 May 2026 11:02:11
Sorry, EHL, see all this develop physically, I'm not a fan. He's 19, not 12. If he's technically good enough to play, give the boy game time. Btw, respect you as a poster, but for me there have been 16/17 year olds playing for bigger clubs. We need to stop wrapping these boys in cotton wool, especially when they are 19.
23 May 2026 11:10:06
Rfc, human beings don't all develop at the same rate, hence why those who play regular first team football at the age of 16 and 17 are the exception and not the norm.
23 May 2026 11:14:48
If I'm Rice, I'm going to somewhere like Kilmarnock to get regular games and career on track.
23 May 2026 11:20:05
An ideal place for Rice is a loan to Morton or Partick.
23 May 2026 12:04:59
Cheers for the answer EHL. 👍
24 May 2026 02:33:47
Rice seems to be OK in teams where he is in his comfort zone. He seems to be lacking desire to really put in the hard work required in any profession to progress.
That's not meant as criticism, that's just how things work out.
22 May 2026 12:15:04
With Bologna failing to qualify for Europe does this increase the liklihood of Ferguson leaving this summer?
Would they look to cash in?

22 May 2026 12:34:57
Barron plus 6m worth a try. I like Barron but I think Ferguson would be an inspired signing.
22 May 2026 19:17:00
For me, I think these owners would not be afraid to drop 10m on him. The thing that would stop it from happening, imo, is him wanting to come back to Scotland.
22 May 2026 20:14:57
Bologna have been sniffing about Barron for a while.
22 May 2026 20:50:36
I just see Ferguson being the new Shankland with fans. His name will be mentioned every window as a signing, but what really is the chance of him coming? By the time he would consider it he will be at the end of his career.
I think his agent says as much: wants to play in the EPL and also for us some day. I see the EPL as being the logical next move, as if he leaves it too long it won't happen.
23 May 2026 11:02:57
I would keep Barron asguard and £6million sounds a better deal. 😂
23 May 2026 11:18:23
Sorry, but I'm not paying the big fee on Ferguson unless loan first, with that knee injury.
I said here early last season how good Barron was playing. People were slow to see it until he got injured, then people seen the hole it left.
Barron is a decent squad player and should not be sold, domestic trained too.
23 May 2026 13:50:32
I'd offer £10m.
23 May 2026 14:49:49
No doubt Fergusson leaving anyhow, but will be to another Italian team.
21 May 2026 16:48:46

23 May 2026 11:20:43
Good news, but think this also means no keeper signing. Can't see Butland leaving until he's a Bosman to get his choice in clubs.
21 May 2026 13:00:27
I'm not missing any point he only never played because the manager chose not to play him. In my opinion that was a mistake. He always looked dangerous in a Rangers jersey brfore his move. I also though j he looked much better than Gassama. But again it was the manager who thought differently.

21 May 2026 15:31:41
Curtis wanted loaned out, Rab, love that.
21 May 2026 17:14:48
Is this still the same discussion in the third thread now? Club decided that he would get guaranteed starts at Killie, and under McCann would learn to play wide positions, which is what we want and need.
It worked, as he got lots of game time and worked so well, in fact, that he has been chosen to go to WC. Or would you rather he got 15-20 minutes at end of game?
21 May 2026 19:28:00
100% you are missing the point. 👍
21 May 2026 20:14:47
It has been showing his ability in games as sub in first half season, the few chances he got showed that he was dangerous for us.
He showed a no that he should be given the jersey.
No need to buy Olsen at that fee and wage on loan or perm when wee man had shown his ability in games.
So yes, it was a big mistake as he should've started for us 2nd half season.
21 May 2026 20:58:12
So, Stevie, as the club owner under Rohl's direction, I imagine is saying we lack experience and leadership. Do you think that playing more young lads will happen? Perhaps Olsen was just a poor example of trying to get that experienced leadership of a player who had won the league in other leagues.
Curtis isn't going to play every game for us as a starter at his age. We need to nurture youth. If he was playing, it would be the 20 or so games mentioned a few days ago for the back up player. I don't see that changing tbh.
21 May 2026 22:43:11
Angus, why not?
Barry was captain at 20.
Abroad u play if you're good enough.
Barcelona had 16 yo cubarsi as first choice cb, playing every game.
Olsen was maybe a bud to make fans happy and an attempt at a luxury star signing and it went horribly wrong.
22 May 2026 07:25:21
Stevie, I won't even bother looking for the much longer list of names of young lads who didn't make it at that age. So, a few did. These are exceptions rather than the rule. But, so you see: Jose Baxter, Freddie Adu, Bjorn Krkic, Macheda, Januzaj, Ravel Morrison. Because one makes it or doesn't, though, makes no difference to the next. These guys were all thrown in too early, though.
But mainly, the owner said our market this window was leadership and experience, which says that the club knows what our young team needs to support and progress. He may come back and stay next season, but I doubt if he gets the 50+ games as first choice.
So Curtis will be good, but only if he is managed properly imo.
22 May 2026 15:05:52
Rab, you crack me up, man, you start a new thread every post instead of using the reply button on the topic's current thread.
23 May 2026 11:24:38
Have to agree with mystar boy, seems to know exactly what he needs, and was a great decision. World Cup place and form more than proves that, couldn't have gone any better, and for me, Neil McCann, a huge part of that, and we should trust him with any future loans.
21 May 2026 07:59:41
Aribo on a free? What's the thoughts?

21 May 2026 09:16:53
Look forward not back, Fork. Has not been great for abit now, and we ain't getting the same young hungry player he once was imo of course.
21 May 2026 09:27:07
On the fence with that mate. 1 year deal and wages would have to be average.
21 May 2026 09:39:22
I'd try that, Big D, with a view to an extension if successful. At the same time, bbj is probably right to be cautious.
21 May 2026 10:05:58
I don't want anyone back who was desperate to leave first time around. Especially now they're not the player they once were.
21 May 2026 10:32:01
Kids and grown ups love it so. The happy world of Aribo.
21 May 2026 12:03:31
Not for me, but I never like to bring back players.
21 May 2026 12:16:05
Has he been playing at a level where he is good enough to make a difference?
It can't be based on what he was, it's where he is now.
21 May 2026 14:15:23
Not for me. Didn't overly rate him 1st time.
21 May 2026 15:11:42
Loved Aribo.
Though, I'm not a fan of going back for players hoping they regain the form from first time around.
21 May 2026 19:28:26
Nothing is ever free, and I would say naw to him.
23 May 2026 11:28:08
It's a no from me. Thought he was decent but a bit inconsistent. Also, his wages will be a lot higher than they were.
20 May 2026 22:08:16
He gets the club. Knows what it takes to play for Rangers. Gets the league. Is a Rangers man.
There's the transfer strategy AC, in case you didn't know. 😂

Well that is 1 position sorted but not sure we have another 10. 😉
