RE: Real Madrid. I was talking about the 11 players on show last night not actually Real Madrid, want I meant was in terms of great players i'm not sure any of them get in a Real best 11 of last 30 years.

I think vini jr kroos carvajal are certs another couple debatable. It was really imo only this year they weren't playing silky football, some of there performances over the years have been ridiculously good. Modric although a sub would come into that category aswell I think.

TJ follow you now mate, my reply last night wasn't meant to come across as snide I was just a few madris deep celebrating another champions league victory for Los Blancos. In fairness though mate, since the "Galactico" era began, they only won 2 champs leagues (00 and 02) so despite having some unbelievable talent they couldn't get the job done finishing as low as 5th in the league one season I believe.
So I agree to an extent in terms of individuality, but as a collective, since Don Carlo came in, then left the reigns to his understudy Zidane and now back again, you can't argue their record and the fact that even now without players like Ronaldo and Ramos, they can still get the job done, they just never know when they're beaten and if needed can flick a switch at any time and punish teams.

Ger88 no offence taken at all, its an interesting debate as football has changed in many ways, not all good. I remember really looking forward to Euros and world cups as you would normally see a new trick or an emerging wonder player, these days all a bit sterile imo. I don't have any answers just my own thoughts and memories of some wonderful footballers.

Bellingham, Modric and Kroos would be a fair shout. Apart from Zidane, who else in midfield was better than those? Maybe Seedorf and Kaka? There would definately be an argument for those three. Tough choice though I'll give you that.

Not about trophies it’s about who’s the better player.
Makalele is a better player than kroos without a shadow of doubt.
Play makalele and the rest of mf can do there thing.
