Would money be better spent on a player already here proving himself in the league?

I would rather spend the money on who the manager/ DOF wants. No point paying that money for a player the manager doesn’t want is is there? Also every signing is a gamble no matter where they come from.
Shankland will not be a rangers player and 5 million won’t get you miovski they would want more of us.

I think you have to factor in Rangers not giving any good money to Scottish teams. Kept most of these bums on life support for a long time and they'd have happily seen us dead and buried. Rob them of their young talent when out of contract by all means.

But we could say that for alll signings and there won’t be anything left too banter or rumour on
may as well close the forum until all signings are in door then we can talk about what the manager brought in.
We could also say same thing for every player that has walked in the door past 8 years with loads of money on transfers signing on fees wages etc that we have all had a moment and said their not goi g to make it here
And we have questioned the transfer policy
I’m just asking could this be another possible failure or will we get what we’re paying for this time around.
And just wanted views on it from the forum ?.

If Shankland doesn’t leave this summer and doesn’t sign a new contract we could sign him on a pre contract in January. Seems a better option to me imo as he won’t have a sell on if we do sign him. Miovski will be more expensive than Rrahmani but he is definitely a good striker and would be less of a risk as he’s been in the league for a couple years. I trust the manager and Koppen to do what’s right.

Plenty left to banter about and rumours the stig.
You asked for guys opinions and I gave mine.
I also told you why 2 of the strikers you mentioned wouldn’t be at rangers IMO.
For me it wasn’t the greatest of polls because miovski and shankland are not on rangers radar.

Great point sirwaltermcoist, nearly 60% would rather a guy they probably haven't seen play before. Not sure shankland has mobility to lead line for us, miovski certainly could. My pick would be miovski, scores against us, scores against them.
Rrahmani I have never seen play, so couldn't possibly make an informed decision on him. I get we aren't in for miovski, but for discussion sake could anyone who picked Rrahmani in the poll tell me how you come to your decision. Guys am not trying to be snide here, it's a genuine question, looking for genuine answers.
