As I've said before how did we expect to do with loan signings and 2 rate English players we are miles off the rotten mob if there is no money to spend wich I think is the case as our manager said we have the best squad in the league who told him that King and co it's time for them to be held accountable where has all the money gone they said they spent because it's not on the field we have another chance to rebuild let's do it on home grown talent who know the Scottish game doesn't mean because they are foreign they are good until investment comes in second best in the league is all we can hope for I'm affraid it makes me laugh when I see posts about our current crop are this good etc bottom line is they are what is in our budget second rate players.

Regarding finances Caixinha would NOT have taken the job unless King and co had guaranteed him X amount for Transfers. Now how much do u think that is?

Surely it could not have been less than £5 million, it must have been at least this amount or Caixinha would not have taken the job on! Caixinha may look at Ibrox as a route to England so he would need to have known that he would have a decent chance to build a team that could win things and also show him in a good light he would have known about us and done some research before taking the job!

So I cannot see him taking it without a guarantee that he would have a decent Transfer Kitty, IMO £5 million isn't enough, but I think its the minimum Caixinha would have accepted to be able to bring in 4-5 players, outfit any loans and possibly given the money raised by Transfers out and wages recycled from this and outgoing loans. Bears honestly Caixinha would not have taken job without assurances!

Also want to add that if Glamour goes to Chelsea they will not loan him back immediately. they will not want him anywhere near a 1st team playing at not only 16 but due to his stature! They will build him up in their Academy, the best we can hope for is that on top of any fee, Chelsea have agreed to loan us 1-2 players on the fringes of the 1st team.

This is what we need now. Glamour goes, we get a 16 year old playing 10-15 minutes of a game we have won! So if Billy has decided to go, do you think that we will get 1 or 2 players on loan?

2.) 02 Apr 2017 21:02:52
I would hope that he has been promised at least £10m + the income from any transfers. That being the case I would hope that Warburton comes in for a few of his purchases + Wallace and that we are able to sell McKay for a decent sum.

If we ended up with £15m and were fortunate enough to have a fully fit Rossiter etc., and with Crooks possibly showing his worth after a full close season, then we might just have a team that can challenge for honours.

Not sure you should be pinning your hopes on Rossiter and Crooks. I doubt very much that Rossiter will ever be able to play a number of games and Crooks looks to have found his level at Scunthorpe. This season has been a disaster and the players currently in the team are rotten

4.) 03 Apr 2017 16:38:30
i'm hopeful for rossiter, but don't rate crooks think its just a step too far for him.

i wouldn't say pedro wouldn't have came unless he had money to spend.
i know he wants to manage in england and scotland is a stepping stone to there as we all know.
but he does have to do well if he wants a look in down there

5.) 04 Apr 2017 10:51:47
Have you watched the three times Scunthorpe have been live on the TV. Big Crooks has scored a few but he's been rank rotten. He's big, slow, and his first touch is awful. Our game is way to quick for him. Rossiter had a horrendous injury record before he came here and I don't see his problems which seem to be long term clearing up soon.

Can't honestly believe what all the fuss about the boy Gilmore he is 15 think we have bigger issues to worry about if he wants to go no big deal in my opinion it just shows how far we still have to go let's worry about our first team problems.

1.) 31 Mar 2017 14:50:22
He is destined to leave but it would be better for his development to stay and if he does fulfil his potential then the club could make some serious cash

2.) 31 Mar 2017 16:16:40
some people care about the future of the club and want to hold on to our best for the future so we don't have to spend as much.

3.) 31 Mar 2017 22:39:36
Would have loved him to stay but I remember john fleck got the same reviews what happened to him?

4.) 01 Apr 2017 22:43:49
JD90

Currently plays for Sheffield Utd who are Championship bound. Heard he is playing well

In regards to my last post what I'm saying is we need to start again the players we have are just not good enough and if u think any different u have been watching another team playing if we want to improve we need to start again because English lower league players will never challenge the rotten mob I honestly can't believe some off the rubbish people post get real and face facts we are not good enough as for keeping Miller I did say for one more season prob been our best player at times this year and yes he is 37 what does that say for the rest let's start again and build a better team we deserve better English lower leauge players won't do it.

1.) 23 Mar 2017 13:57:52
There's an argument that lower english stuff would compete no worries in our league i think your being disrespectful, what about vardy or ian wright or other guys that came from lower leagues, not good enough i don't think so, we don't and shouldn't have buckets of money to throw at it unless you want us back where we were, we have to be careful not spunk 30 mil up the wall just to compete with them, we don't have the cash to replece, no shirt revenues, pedro will bring people in and hopefully compliment what we have, a bit of management style can do wonders for players

2.) 23 Mar 2017 15:26:22
these players are well better than the rest of scottish football just tactics where wrong all season give these guys a chance.

i would however get a new spine of a team

3.) 23 Mar 2017 16:45:50
I think you'll find both celtics best players this season were both signed from the English championship. Nondisgrace in shopping in that market as it's one of the most competitive leagues around.

4.) 24 Mar 2017 11:43:11
It's not the shopping in lower leagues that's the problem, it's just the people we sent for the shopping came back with damaged goods.

5.) 24 Mar 2017 16:50:41
Loved the posts about the old days. In my days if you had Hotspur boots you were rich. A ball was a Bladder. I played in goal with no nets everytime the ball went past you had to run about a hundred yards to retrieve it .

20 Mar 2017 19:05:14
Im trying not to be negative but i would sell Wallace tav Halliday wag horn forester windass Kieran Wilson
Senderos hill will retire
I hope kenny Miller signs for another season
The loan signings will go back
This is what worries me we have no strength and depth we will need to start building again this should of happend 4 years ago we should of started with kids then and my reasons for letting the above guys go I have been at every game this year at not one of them has 50 percent pass marks.

Believe99

1.) 20 Mar 2017 19:54:27
Strength in depth? youve sold everybody🙄

2.) 20 Mar 2017 20:32:20
So you've just sold 10 regulars from the team?

Continuity clearly means nothing to you - dump the lots and try our luck with another bunch?

Crazy!

3.) 20 Mar 2017 20:57:06
Not 1 player in the rangers team is good enough. Hence the fact we are 33 points behind.

4.) 20 Mar 2017 22:27:33
You can only sell if you have a buyer and to sell the majority of the team as you are suggesting is ridiculous

5.) 21 Mar 2017 02:34:51
I would be happy to see Halliday leave along with Kiernan and hopefully Warburton will come in for both of them. I would like to see Hill stay on and concentrate on coaching since central defence is an area that will need consistency that has been missing for a long time.

In terms of other players, I would like to retain Tavernier, not sure about our midfield if we don't manage to replace the two loanees with players of equal status. Hyndman in particular has had a major impact.

Up front I would still like to see an out and out striker but then so would most teams!

6.) 21 Mar 2017 02:39:57
Lets hope that Warburton wants Kiernan and Halliday. Kiernan is not suited to Scottish Football but might do OK in the English Championship, Halliday was Warburton's blue eyed boy so hopefully he will take him to Nottingham!

Neither would be missed!

7.) 21 Mar 2017 11:16:18
Add O'halloran, Mckay, Dodoo, Garner, Holt and Hodson to that list, we need better players, not juat for domestox but European football.

8.) 21 Mar 2017 11:19:49
I wouldn't sell waghorn, Wallace and if we're going to challenge Celtic we can't have Miller as our number one striker next season we need better! I would much prefer Miller hanging up his boots and becoming part of the coaching staff.

9.) 21 Mar 2017 11:21:49
believe99! You can't ship that amount of players out at the one time! It will be a gradual process, of caixinha gradually weaning out who he wants and slowly replacing them! This of course is the correct way to do it!

10.) 21 Mar 2017 11:23:01
Would get shot of senderos, kiernan, halliday, ohal for definite, I don't think they will ever improve. I would give the others until the end of the season to prove their worth. I know it was only one game, but the players looked a lot more suited to pedro's style of play. Miller and hill should be given another years contract.

11.) 21 Mar 2017 11:25:15
Sell all them but keep miller? are you serious?

12.) 22 Mar 2017 10:30:37
So cee, you would keep them and sell miller ( our best player this season without doubt) . You would keep senderos, kiernan, halliday, ohal? Four players that couldn't pass the salt dish. Are you cee-rious?

19 Mar 2017 21:36:09
Why would u even compare lakaku to Barry mc says it all for me as for believe I attend every home and away game I'm just being honest i don't think that squad has the potential to get better under any manager it's made of of loan signings and English lower league players let's keep it real here we are 8 points behind Aberdeen because we drew against the rotten mob and beat Hamilton we are great again.

Believe99

1.) 20 Mar 2017 09:52:50
I think Pedro will have a wider knowledge of European football and possibly a wider scoring network. We don't need to sign established stars look what Leicester did with mahrez and Kante.

If we can pull off signings like that then we won't need to worry about solely looking at the English lower leagues.

2.) 20 Mar 2017 09:34:25
Different managers can get different results out of a team. Look at sir Alex Ferguson he managed to motivate whoever played for him. he won a league title with Evans, Anderson, nani and smelling as regulars lol!

3.) 20 Mar 2017 15:02:59
Evans is still better that any current CB utd have. Great defender

4.) 21 Mar 2017 10:36:16
At the end of last season there were around 2,500 Uefa registered players out of contract. We picked up a handful from the English lower leagues. I'm sure Pedro will be fishing in a much bigger pond than that and it's there that we will capture good players. And Believe 99 we're 8 points behind Aberdeen because of the dud Warburton.

5.) 21 Mar 2017 10:50:32
made of loanees name them mate name more than 3 that actually get a game infact name as many as u can and while u are at it can u explain to me why u don't think a manager makes a difference just look at the dark side their players that they already had are much better under a better manager!
thats just one instance.

look at sir fergie left man u with a winning team and they ended up terrible under another manager so to say things like that makes other people who know about football lose all respect for your opinion.

but that's just my opinion!

6.) 21 Mar 2017 11:25:20
Great defender? Really by that logic rob kiernan must be half decent.
