Would he play when Goldson and Helander are fit? Probably not but he's stronger than the rest of our CB's imo. And could be a natural successor to goldson next season.

Talented CB but incredibly unlucky with injuries. If he could stay injury free would definitely add a bit of steel to our defence.

We would be more than ok with doehki, Helander, Balogun and one of Simpson or Katic. I’d expect 1 of the 2 to be moved on. personally I’d like to see a CB from our B team step up instead of signing Soutter. I don’t think he would be a starter for us.

Paying off GVB at a cost of maybe £7m and then bringing in another manager where a payoff will be looming shortly after the appointment is a real problem. Our fans have been very loyal but this current Board needs to be very careful that they don't push the support too far!
There is a need for fresh investment and fresh ideas at the Top of the top of the Club.
The signing of Gerrard as manager was exciting just as the signing of Souness as Player Manager was all those years ago and like most supporters I was excited to see us bring in GVB when Gerrard left. Unfortunately, while the then Custodian of our Club backed Souness considerably and Gerard was initially given considerable support, GVB has not been given that same level and indeed has seen three of his better players sold and not replaced.
Whoever comes in if GVB does go then they need to be given significant financial backing. That means further investment being found.
Perhaps it is time to bring in new Investors that are willing to provide finance and have a game plan for the future!

Our priority in January should be to upgrade the middle of the park, we need to bring in a couple of fast energetic center mids, big lundstram is good, jack is good but made of glass, Davis is a legend but time has caught up with him, arfield another great servant but he is getting on aswell, young Tillman has to be played further forward, losses the ball to much to play in there, and finally kamara has downed tools, has great ability but very rarely produces it. Hopefully young lowrie and mcann can step up but I really think we need to invest some money in there.

Kamara came on against Napoli and basically cost us two goals, He has hardly been seen since, don’t get me wrong I think there is definitely a player there but anytime I’ve seen him in the last few months he looks as if his heads not in any more. I think Lawerence is a good player but I hope he not another injury prone player. I don’t see young Tillman as a centre mid at all.

We need a no nonsense CH with experience, If there’s anyone available, Who will put his body on the line, As we don’t have anyone that has these capabilities at the moment in time, A winger who can go past his opponent with the ball, Have a shot or get a decent cross into the box, Anyway onto Wednesday hopefully 2 or 3 young ones get an opportunity. As we all know these guys will be bursting a gut to impress. Up the Gers ???????????.

Not posted in a while, but have to say the bassey deal is Fantastic business from us, I've no doubt big Shirley is worth a lot more money in todays crazy market but for us to buy someone for 230 grand and sell him for over 20 million is brilliant. Also trust me in saying big colak is an excellent signing.
