I hope someone with some integrity comes forward to pay the legal fees of craig houston. out of all the supporters groups, I think he is the most honest and straightforward spokesman of the lot.

hughphil

1.) Well said mate sandy easdale is dirty person for pursuing this which could ruin craigs life all because he's voicing the opinions that most of the fans feel also every fans site you go onto there's libelous claims made of easdale but he's only going after one man I would urge all fans to show support for Craig by letting easdale know rhat most fans think he's a person

2.) If that's the case there should be some help for him

3.) People risk lawsuits everyday when they post rumours online -especially when they don't have any evidence to back up their claims. No doubt their is tons of rumours not posted on here as it could get the ed's and posters into more trouble than what its worth

{Ed039's Note - Things like the SOS thing were posted but not put up for that very reason, the administration of some posts can be difficult and require a judgement call)

4.) Ime sure the rangers people that post on the sos site would be more than willing to help out if push came to shove

So yet again our esteemed manager proves himself a chicken. he had no problem commenting a month or so ago when king was talking about investing millions, or about ahmed's trial. ask him anything about his employers, and it's a no comment, and before all the lovers come on, I would point out alex mcleish and jimmy calderwood both stood up for their principles and spoke out and left their respective clubs.

mccoist knows the board and backers can't sack him, as they can't financially afford it.

hughphil

1.) Listen my friend you don't like ally simple as that, for the record I actually think ally did the right thing in wanting to talk about football & he should have done this a while ago, mccoist's job at rangers is a football manager, that's his job, if you don't rate him as a football manager that's fine because that's your opinion & what you should judge him on but to call the guy the rangers manager a chicken bang out of order mate & that's my opinion, sometimes with some of you mccoist just can't win enjoy the rest of your evening!

2.) Spot on BR, your comments are 100% correct. I do not think he is the man for the job but that is totally in a football sense.
In the past he made comment on every subject and left himself vulnerable to criticism. Maybe he has learned to stick to the footballing side and we should judge him accordingly.

3.) Thats right I thnk he is a terrible manager but should not be called chicken hearted the same as g wallace should not be called a liar

4.) Absolutely no BS, Ally will not in anyway say anything that may affect his income, does not have the bal. s to hang his hat in any camp, similar to shares voting issue, ally on the fence, grow some.

5.) I agree with above posts regarding ally but op how do you know the loan was not to pay ally off he is employed as manager and I bet he wishes he had only spoke of things managers speak of from the begining ie the team

6.) @1, you're right, I don't like him as a manager. he has the worst record ever in a rangers manager, his style of play can be bettered by most school teams, and he has no plan b. mccoist should stick to talking football, but if you look back, you'll find that's not the case.

If it's true that the easdales and laxey are to put in £1.5 million as a loan, to be paid back in shares, i'd love to know how many shares are involved.

it must be extremely worthwhile for them.

why are they putting in money if wallace says we don't need it?

Just a couple of questions. why are the police and bdo investigations taking so long?

do rangers hold the deeds for ibrox, etc, but not actually own them?

why is jack irvine still employed by the club?

who in their right mind would give mccoist £30 million of a transfer kitty?

will we ever find out the truth about all we want to know about events at our club over the last few years?

hughphil

1.) As far as jack irvine goes it remains a mystery why he is stil there the bdo inquiry won't be revealed to the liquidation process is past whish could last for a long time yet but as far as j irvine goes his media comments to me are not meant to help rangers the only thing it appears to do is deter us

2.) @ hughphil some really good question but alas I don't think they will be answered any time soon. Wee toxic will remain as long as the KRAYS are there as that is his only leverage within the club his company media house is a joke and has done nothing but bring our great club into disrepute.

3.) Totally agree he has done as much damage as thompson

3.) Re 1, they are based in London.

4.) Thanks for the replies. does it say who sold the shares?

5.) Hugh if you go to londonstockexchange.com and search rangers international you will see all the regulatory announcements made by RIFC, the holding in the company announcements must be made for any trades that affect shareholders with more than 3% of shares

@ op, the operating costs increased to almost £17 million for the six months, and you think that's not bad!

As much as I welcome the news of investment from dave king, I cringe when I think of him giving the money to mccoist.

Would have liked to have seen more youth, eg, mcausland, gasparatto, telfer, to name but three, with at least one of them starting.

hughphil

{Ed039's Note - McAusland is on loan at Ayr United)

What happened to the promise to add more youth once the league was won?

hughphil

{Ed039's Note - Crawford?)

@ op, much as i'd love it to happen, I don't think it will. the bottom line is we cannot afford to pay off mccoist and his backroom team.
