Excited about tomorrows game, no one giving us a hope, Bears included, i have a wee fancy we will put up a great show, and the boss will have a trick up his sleeve. Wouldn't it be a fitting end to the season to beat Celtic in the semi and then gub Hibs in the final.

I just hope everyone has a great day tommorow and behaves cause the microphone and camera of the BBC will all be pointing at the Rangers end waiting to slaughter us.

Thinking we might look at the boy will Grigg from Wigan scored 22 this season only 24 played a lot of football over last few years at his decent career tally for his age and also played at brentford do not know if was under warburton I don't see how it would not have been he's also Northern Ireland international hard working striker with an eye for goal fits warburton criteria and fits into the player profile we look for our rejuvenated warburton and weir era think u looking between 300 to 600 grand but has built decent reputation for scoring and like his work ethic no rumour only someone think we might look at and hope we do what u think troops.

I said that a couple of weeks ago about Grigg. Looks decent. I'm sure the paid 900 grand for him and he's been scoring a lot of goals. I'm sure they would ask more for him Than what they paid.

I want Dundee Utd for the simple reason we have wiped the floor with Hibs already this year. Would love to beat Celtic tomorrow and do Utd in the final.

That's Hibs beat the feeder club twice, Hearts, Aberdeen and St Johnstone. Too many times now to claim anything can happen in a one off game. And are Hibs a better side than us? Is there a gulf between the leagues? A massive gulf? Really?

I somewhat agree seeker. There isn't a great difference in class over a one off game. The difference will be over a season. We will I'm sure strengthen over the summer and also have greater depth to our squad. As I said on here before, tomorrow will show us EXACTLY where we are and what we need to do to be properly competitive over a season. Tomorrow could go either way, if we play well and they don't - we win and if they play well and we don't - they win. Kind of obvious I know but over a one off game that's the variable. We have good players who PLAY for us but Celtic have a very big physical side but only have one guy scoring.
Anyway lads whoever is lucky enough to be going, have a really good and trouble free day.

Well guys the games 2morro and I've been nervous all week, with us missing our front 4 players it's put a major dent in my hopes, I'm a realist i know our team come August will be different from 2morro but i had more confidence if waghorn and co were fit but that's life, no matter what happens just enjoy the day and do our great club justice.

Me too Delboy the Forreter situation has took the wind out my sails a bit as well. I really fancied us with the same team that beat Dundee. Just need to hope the boys play a blinder.
I still think Miller may have the last laugh in this fixture, he's clever enough to know this could be his last start in a game of this magnitude as next year he will be a bit part player. We all seen what he done on his last Scotland game. I hope we get the first goal and then I would be confident again. Either way I'm sure next year with the boys missing back and some new faces we will be ready for a challenge.

Totally agree recbob, it's kind of a free game for Rangers this one, if we get beat then it's no great shock but if we win I don't think Celtics fans will leave their houses for a week, in all seriousness I would have loved to have played them with a full strength team to get a better idea of were we are but unfortunately that's football, I just hope our fans do the club proud and enjoy the day and behave themselves no matter the result but I have a horrible feeling all the old party songs will be back and it will be another reason for pundits and media to have a did at us, guess we will all find out tomorrow.

Rangers need to treat this game like when Aberdeen played Liverpool just before Ferguson made them into Euro winners and Scottish Champs
He said after losing to Liverpool emphatically in the European Cup 4-1 it would be making or breaking of the players they needed to learn from it.

I am not saying Celtic are anywhere near to Liverpool standard but the gaps are similar and I would take a loss then us winning the league next season all day long possibly the season after.
I really fancied Rangers a month ago when they were playing terrible stuff and we were on a high. Since then they have got a tighter defence and the boy Roberts looks very dangerous as does Rogic not to mention Griffith.
If we can sit in and if Ball can shore up our defence we can win with the breaks these games often hinge on, going our way.
If on other hand celtic play well and our defence makes mistakes as in the recent games we cannot win as they will outscore us
I am using my heart hoping for 1-0 or 2-1 Rangers but my head says 3-1 to them.
As I say though it could be the making of Warburton's era.
Been sick with tension all week more the dread of a big loss.

I don't think we have the players to sit in and keep it tight. Think we will struggle to fill the bench and with Forrester out either Shiels or Law has to come both of whom have been poor since we signed them and haven't had much football this season. They can afford to leave players like Commons and Forrest on the bench while Allan probably won't even make the squad. Could be a long 90 mins for us.

I hope we have been working hard in training on taking a different approach, if not Celtic will punish us.
Know this is going to upset some but they are a better side in every position including the bench. If we go into the game with our usual approach we will be making it very easy for them.
With the exception of Barcelona every team in world football adapts it's tactics against top opposition- and even they have paid for not doing so recently.
I can only see us winning 1-0 or 2-1 if we play smart and they pay poorly. We need a bit of luck and fringe players such as Clark, shields and law will have to play at some point and play better than they have. Otherwise I fear a pasting could be on the cards.
As iv said before this game has been built up to much. The games next season once we have strengthened are far more important and will have a major influence on how high we can finish next season.
