Heard Brighton will be looking for 8m+ for sima. Does that completely rule out his return? Or would it depend if they were willing to accept say 3m in add ons? Would absolutely love to see him and Cortez full fit either side of a new striker.

I see rhamanis club are also hiking his price up again ? I wonder why when we come calling players prices go up yet we don't have much money ?

I'm starting to get a little worried about 0 links to any experienced players. Surely there are players with experience on a free we could be talking to anyone got any insights?

What do we think the chances are koppen and Clement could talk Ben yedder in to coming here? I'd love Ramos on a free aswell but that's absolutely out our league these days.

Agreed on both EPL players are never worth what they make people pay for them it's the EPL tax where every players costs double what they are worth. Kind of ruining football so it is.

Sima not worth £8m to us.
We’d need to see a future sell on in 2 years at £12m + to mae it worth it for us.
We also don’t have £8m to spend on a player in sima position when we have so many positions to fill.

Also it seems we’re going to spend big on an actual striker, so don’t see us spending 6-8m twice in 2 attackers.

Kabadayi would be one for the future imo matondo not good enough wright absolutely nowhere near top 6 level never mind rangers level. Sure the igmani boy can play wings also but with champions league qualifying rapidly approaching it's starting to look pretty grim. 0 experience signed and every top target either to expensive or preferring the likes of Norwich. We need that champions league money we won't get it with wright dessers and mccausland starting upfront raskin cantwell and diomande (who is some player imo) in midfield and goldson tav at the back still we just won't qualify.

What I’m seeing here is maybe an explanation as to why we were shopping in the lower English market for years.
Going into the markets were targeting Thai summer seems to be a hard sell getting them to buy into rangers / Scotland.

This could explain why we resorted to the players we did.
It’s worrying we’re losing out in our 1st n 2nd choice targets.

Need to be patient, free transfers are easy to get done early on but when we have to negotiate deals it takes longer . There will be disappointments as other clubs outbid us, or players don`t want to come but that's just the reality of where we are as a club in the pecking order of world football not to mention how unappealing our league is. My feeling is that the more experienced players will need to be bought and that at the moment we are just tying up the deals that we can. It may depend on who leaves but I feel we still need 4 experienced players up the spine of the team, CD, DM, AM and CF.

Spot on mate we really don't have the pull we used to. The fact the other mob win most things aswell makes it an even harder sell to players. but even they struggle to get top targets as this league is very very poor. Championship players are worth double what spl players are and a good portion are on far better wages. We should always avoid England for players unless they are on a free far better value in other leagues and you would suspect players playing in the danish league for example would be happy to play in Scotland.

Our main target is a striker given concerns over danilo's fitness after a bad injury and lack of quality with dessers so if we are to spend around 6/ 7m on 1 we can't afford 8m for sima imo.

Would wait to sign sima on a pre in January them offer 1/ 2million to get him in the door then if they want the £8million as that is to much £5million is to much imo as he is on his last year of contract think how cheap we sold aribo due to him being on his last year.

Rfc I think Brighton have an option to extend his deal by 12 months. So he won’t be a free next season unless they say so which they obviously won’t sue to him being worth money.

6/ 7 weeks isn't far away in football settling in terms storm new country new football styles new house new expectations can take some players half a season to settle in. The sooner we have players in the better.

Loads of teams miss out on no1 targets even teams like barca, Liverpool, Chelsea etc, that's why we have lists of players. I don't think there no1 target because they are so much better, loads of different things are took into consideration age, contract, pedigree etc. We would all like to get our no1 targets obviously but I'll not be to worried if we need to go elsewhere at times, as long as our club aren't held to ransom. We do need patience though. let's trust koppen until he gives us reason not to.

Clement I ain’t 100% sure but the transfer window for rest of Europe doesn’t start till 1st of July so it’s only frees from abroad we can sign just now.

Its still not rapidly approaching.
