Seeing rumblings in the media that SPFL and us still discussing Hampden as the preferred stadium choice.

Hampden for domestic games is fine but I’d prefer us to be at Murrayfield for European fixtures. Extra 10k fans could be a big boost and would be unique. Also Murrayfield is easier to get to by public transport than hampden.

David u seem to be assuming we will sell 67k tickets.

I'd just prefer Murrayfield tbh, don't want to line SFA pockets, they do little for us, in saying that there's a gd few buses gets you to Hampden and Mount Florida close too.

I think we would for a European game John I don’t see us selling that many for a killie at home for instance.

Im sure the board have went with what is more cost efficient. Even considering if we sold extra tickets for murrayfield.

Fork I mentioned on here last week its hampden, i knowxnothing about signing. However i'm clued up about the working inside ibrox, hampden have our arm up our backs, for the record an Ayrshire firm tendered for the work (same guy done work on anfield) all fabrication work to be done here, not waiting for cheàp china steel, bisgrove said no, the rest is history.

It’s Glasgow rangers no Edinburgh rangers Hampden will do.

67k not a problem if the price is right.

Wishy bear, we didn’t even sell out the Benfica game. Perhaps they could lower the prices playing at murrayfield which may attract more fans.

Rumours around Queens Park are they would stay in the new Lesser Hampden to allow Rangers to use Hampden. Hampden pitch originally due to be ready for start September, discussions over whether this can be brought forward or if first 2 homes games would be switched to away. National team also have agreements around use of Hampden and Lesser which also complicates it. Murrayfield more likely for European.

A think we are heading towards three stands, not ideal but neither is any alternative.

I don’t recall seeing any empty seats against benfica from where my seat was. Was there a lot of empty seats near you Borna?

Goes without saying we should be playing at home! This has properly left me deflated and we ain’t even kicked a ball yet! Get a grip man!

John we keep hearing about having 12-15 waiting list for season ticket as well as single tickets, so in theory we should be able to sell out no bother.

Would we get 67,000 people for a game through in Edinburgh. We may pick up some people who don't normally go to games, but we can't assume our whole support will attend a game in a different city. If the pitch is ready, Hampden is the obvious choice.

Wish, attendance at rangers v benfica 49943, I’d call that a sell out what with segregation and media seats etc.

Loyalist I'm led to believe it was BHC steel from carnwath that was doing the job, I'm not sure if they make it or just do the ordering.

Rangers aren’t going to jump between two different stadiums for domestic European football. It’ll be Hampden until September/ October.

They can fill the Gaza dome so we can fill Murrayfield .
