Kent's horses and good lady have returned to a Renfrewshire village.

John2561

1.) 19 Oct 2024 13:23:23
by return John do you mean that they came back to the house they already had. That makes sense as he wouldn't stay in Turkey and both being British Uk seems a sensible landing point.

2.) 19 Oct 2024 13:25:06
Curiouser and Curiouser.

3.) 19 Oct 2024 13:59:10
Off to St Mirren then.

4.) 19 Oct 2024 14:16:37
Yes angus.

5.) 19 Oct 2024 14:59:32
There's no place like home.

6.) 19 Oct 2024 15:18:47
Correct Dorothy.

7.) 19 Oct 2024 15:51:01
All the Kents horses and all the Kents men - Wont bring him to Ibrox not EVER AGAIN???.

8.) 19 Oct 2024 16:32:15
He is coming back mate. Heard from a very good source. Not what i want but it's happening.

9.) 19 Oct 2024 16:50:11
BF??.

10.) 19 Oct 2024 17:04:29
John2561, r u John Greig?,
Watp if yes, rangers forever if no.

11.) 19 Oct 2024 17:13:41
Hearing the exact same florida and hearing it's been practically decided kent was coming back to us a few weeks ago but things were to be sorted first ?.

12.) 19 Oct 2024 17:18:41
good idea to ask Wilkins and the code you use is so difficult for others to guess it means no-one else will ever know if he is or not ?.

13.) 19 Oct 2024 17:28:21
RTID, Wilkins.

14.) 19 Oct 2024 17:57:58
Angus I have never played football higher than English non leage, I was garbage.

15.) 19 Oct 2024 19:11:35
John English non league is higher than most people will ever get I’m pretty sure you were not garbage mate just not Pele ?.

16.) 19 Oct 2024 21:29:12
Shouldn’t matter what level you played at John, it’s irrelevant. Shouldn’t carry any weight in here. Your knowledge and insight is prem league mate lol.

17.) 19 Oct 2024 21:48:34
John it wasnt a disrespect of the level of football you played and higher than I managed. It was more a p-take of Wilkins use of code whereas a straight yes or no would give the same info and wasnt needed. Sorry Wilkins again no slight meant.

18.) 20 Oct 2024 10:50:40
Scotty it is irrelevant, but a man asked polite question I gave him an honest reply.

Angus I got that, it’s why I replied RTID. No offence even entered my mind.

Rangers have now went to the market for Expressions of Interest to supply merchandise from 1/ 7.

John2561

1.) 08 Oct 2024 19:33:06
So John, is that it out to tender to see who'll become our kit manufacturers, starting from 1/ 7/ 25 ? Like i said a few weeks ago i've been told talks have already started with various sportswear manufacturers mate ?.

2.) 08 Oct 2024 19:36:31
Although i was told adidas a couple of weeks back, i think with adidas poised to make/ regard celtic an elite club within their ranks, i feel celtic will now certainly be remaining with adidas beyond this season and would therefore be very unlikely to take us on board ?I think we're certain to remain with castore as our kit manufacturers beyond this season ?time will tell ?.

3.) 08 Oct 2024 20:00:28
So walter what are you inferring that rangers would not be an an elite club to adidas, i have purchased adidas gear in the past and some of their merchandise is Sh*t, if we don't go with castore again we will get more money from some other supplier.

4.) 08 Oct 2024 20:45:13
What i'm saying trueblue, that as long as adidas are celtic's kit manufacturers i honestly don't think they'd have rangers on board also mate, that's what i'm saying ?Celtic are only getting made an elite club with adidas as part of their new deal to remain in partnership together, as celtic were not given elite club status by adidas, in their original 5 year deal with them ?Man utd, arsenal for example were regarded as elite club's with adidas as their supporters can purchase actual players pro shirts like we currently can with castore ?Celtic supporters couldn't purchase actual player's pro shirts as they weren't regarded an elite club with adidas up until now and part of this new deal ?.

5.) 08 Oct 2024 20:45:18
My personal option is Castore is cheap. I would definitely prefer adidas, Nike etc.

6.) 09 Oct 2024 03:04:09
Castore Has made some good looking tops.

7.) 09 Oct 2024 06:23:26
Nike and Adidas churn out some absolute garbage. Like a conveyor belt of football strips with no thought or consideration for what the fans want in a football strip.

8.) 09 Oct 2024 09:05:44
I'm very happy with my Castore products. Very happy.

9.) 09 Oct 2024 11:23:49
Why wouldn`t adidas become Rangers kit manufacturers just because they are staying with the other mob. Its not as if fans will buy one or the other, they will only buy their own kits. The sales of Rangers kits are always huge so that would be the main driver in any deal.
Adidas sticking with the other mob, may prompt interest from their main rival, Nike but maybe we need to show them we`re not going to remain trailing behind them on the field for that to happen.
Personally I`ve been delighted with any stuff I`ve got from Castore so if we stay with them that would be okay, as long as the deal is better for the club .

10.) 09 Oct 2024 11:52:23
I’ve never had any problems with the Castore gear I have purchased over the years. ?????????.

11.) 09 Oct 2024 13:35:09
No matter who it is the product is crap, the club could easily be the 'brand' if doing an OEM deal with a Chinese manufacturer.

If unsure what OEM is just do a quick search online, Google would help.

The biggest sellers of products on the planet do it that way including adidas and the like.

12.) 10 Oct 2024 10:51:36
Moffat to be the manufacturer you then need to have the infrastructure in place to do everything in the process not just get some Chinese firm to make it for you, there is the larger part afterwards. If it was the best way to do it do you not think clubs would have done it that way before but the extra profit negates the extra hassle. Yes more profit perhaps but much more hassle. the existing manufacturers (no need to bamboozle with acronyms to appear smart) have all that in place already so it is the easiest, most sensible way for clubs to do it.
BTW if you do become the manufacturer you still buy your product form the same Chinese factories so what makes you think the product would be better.

13.) 10 Oct 2024 17:14:55
sorry wrong way around the extra hassle negates the extra profit.

03 Oct 2024 09:19:09
Good to see two trialist played minutes against fleetwood yesterday

One played last week.

John2561

1.) 03 Oct 2024 11:57:42
Any idea who they are?

2.) 03 Oct 2024 12:59:32
Do we know who these 2 players were, John? ?

3.) 03 Oct 2024 13:38:38
Ibrox news did not rate them or Clinton Nsiala very highly in the 2-0 defeat.

4.) 03 Oct 2024 14:48:19
Rfc ibrox news no nothing.

5.) 03 Oct 2024 15:13:54
Did you hear how they played or who they are John?

6.) 03 Oct 2024 16:03:12
Rec both have been invited back

One of the two was the boy who played last week.

Spoke to someone who was there and in his opinion nsiala was our standout player.

7.) 03 Oct 2024 16:43:01
For information reliability, Ibrox News is on a par with the Beano.

8.) 03 Oct 2024 16:49:58
Ok cool.
Some positive prospects for the future.

9.) 03 Oct 2024 17:00:27
Gordy one lad from epl academy similar route re academy and England age group as sterling

Not sur re recent trialist.

10.) 03 Oct 2024 17:17:38
Cheers John. ??.

11.) 03 Oct 2024 17:25:12
Here's the thing are we actually going to see any progress to the first team, training with, yes, match day squad, yes, playing, not really a regular occurrence, only a limited few getting limited minutes. We need to start using some of these lads.

12.) 03 Oct 2024 17:55:36
Rice would have better now if he stayed at Motherwell.

13.) 03 Oct 2024 17:59:57
Ibrox news is the most negative parody out there wouldn't be surprised if lowel owned it.

14.) 03 Oct 2024 18:00:20
Fork need to be better than what we have, we gambled on aribo and Bassey, we now look for the next one.

15.) 03 Oct 2024 18:03:07
I get that John, still think we should be using them more than a revenue stream mate. ?.

16.) 03 Oct 2024 18:11:29
Been better.

17.) 03 Oct 2024 18:21:09
John, Nsiala is really starting to kick on - he is a high risk player though, so think he'll give us a few scares when he's in the first 11.

18.) 03 Oct 2024 18:34:35
issue is that play young kids and lose and everyone starts to complain as we end up 2nd in 2 horse race. they need game time to progress most of the time so having a B team in leagues would be the perfect solution but unlikely to happen. Look at Ferguson, left us went to Hamilton where he got game time and just got better. Not all will progress like that but they need that challenge and game time. If we can't give it to them then making some money from them by selling them on is a good revenue source. they might not be good enough at that time for our 1st team but they are for someone's. Just need to bite the bullet when we see them being sold for millions later though.

19.) 03 Oct 2024 19:29:49
My star I agree, him and miller would both be in the 1st team with Motherwell playing together if he didn’t make the move.

20.) 03 Oct 2024 23:02:25
Ehl, I’m told nsiala is seen as a very top player.

21.) 03 Oct 2024 23:31:16
We need to start bring through young players from the academy but the issue we have is that we also need an academy league again so the B team is competing every week, or look at joining an academy school like Diomonde came through.

22.) 04 Oct 2024 08:32:18
Right to dream academy would be a perfect partnership although I believe Manchester City now own FC Nordsjaelland so that would suggest they have invested in right to dream also.

23.) 04 Oct 2024 11:28:41
John unless I misunderstood are the 2 trialists 24/ 25 years old if they are the same age group as sterling?

24.) 04 Oct 2024 11:39:07
Ehl what is his pace like? high risk what does that mean mate? hopefully it means he's trying things his other cb's will not ie killer balls from centre of defence.

25.) 04 Oct 2024 18:56:39
I'm hearing 2 different stories 1 that Croatian lad failed to impress and it was 2 different trialists.

Second is it was lad from last week joined by another. Not been given any names yet.

26.) 04 Oct 2024 20:13:28
Burt, no re age, played with England 17,18, 19,20s

Bellshill my info your second suggestion.

27.) 04 Oct 2024 22:28:31
I am hoping we are looking at midfielders because they were posted missing last night. Every time the ball dropped into midfield there was no rangers players in sight. Barron comes too deep and diomande goes missing leaving a massive gap in which the lyon players could bring the ball down without pressure on them. There was no urgency and no effective pressing from the front. In the first 10/ 15 mins we were pressing and their defence didn't like it and panicked then Cerny missed that chance and lyon took control of the match from then on.

28.) 05 Oct 2024 14:33:59
I just read a report on the Fleetwood website that didn`t give any details except that Rangers B won the game 3-1, so where did Ibrox Noise get a 2-0 defeat from.

29.) 05 Oct 2024 15:57:27
Wsl we lost he game 2-0.

30.) 05 Oct 2024 16:03:13
Must be an old article, can`t see a date on it . Apologies.

31.) 05 Oct 2024 18:29:45
John - interesting two players on trial.
Defenders, Midfielders, or strikers?

32.) 07 Oct 2024 10:14:54
John, Nsiala is very impressive and seems to have the right mentality to progress.

MyStar, he's quick but not lightening quick, he does read the game well though. He's high risk in terms of likes to take touches when under pressure and plays some very questionable passes. Obviously looks good at b team level, but not sure how it will translate in the first team.

33.) 07 Oct 2024 15:58:45
I egret re nsiala, watched him on four occasions,

34.) 09 Oct 2024 09:13:09
Cheers Ehl.

25 Sep 2024 10:32:47
Confirmed on sky absolutely no approach for hearts guy to be our ceo.

Good stuff. We need a big hitter.

John2561

1.) 25 Sep 2024 10:44:08
And the official best CEO in scotland isn't that?

2.) 25 Sep 2024 12:19:38
To be fair, how does anyone on here know who is a good CEO and who isn't? I couldn't have told you who Hearts CEO was and had never heard of Gillespie at St Mirren, but now it's a disaster when we don't get them to some people or a disaster if we do to others.

The wee guy before Bisgrove (Robertson?) was seen as doing a good job at Motherwell, but the job at Rangers seemed to be too big for him. Every one has a right to have an opinion, but this is a business decision and not the signing of a footballer, so we don't really know who would be good or who wouldn't.

3.) 25 Sep 2024 14:19:08
Wsl, some people on here may have been a ceo or employed one, so to say no one knows what a good ceo is wrong imo.

Because u don’t know who hearts ceo is or had never knew who Gillespie is suggests u only focus on our club, no issue with that, but many know these people.

4.) 25 Sep 2024 15:10:29
Would imagine the "best ceo in Scotland" award on his desk is quite a good indicator.

5.) 25 Sep 2024 17:11:25
79 what you on about the best ceo in Scotland award ?.

6.) 25 Sep 2024 19:06:01
John, I didn't say no-one on here knows what a good CEO is? I said how does anyone on here know what a good CEO is, it was a question. It may be that some people either are CEOs or have employed one but if so, it will not be very many.

I do keep track of Scottish football not just Rangers but I will confess I'm not interested in board room members at other clubs. I did see McKinlay on SKY today talking about sacking Naismith, but that is the first time I`ve ever seen him put his head above the parapet.

To be honest, I wish the board members at our own club weren't in the news so much because that's always a sign that a club isn't doing well.

7.) 25 Sep 2024 23:00:43
Storm there is an award voted for by all CEOs in Scotland as to who they think is the best. A sort of CEO of the year. In the last 3 seasons McKinlay has won twice and the guy from Ross County won the other. not commenting on whether they are good or not but says it all really. Celtic winning lots of trophies, making huge profits and no mention. does that make them the best CEO for our job, difficult to say because as John says I wouldn't know a good CEO if he bought me a round at my local.

8.) 26 Sep 2024 12:32:42
John didn't say that, but never mind.

9.) 26 Sep 2024 14:27:17
I'm with John on this one having been both a CEO and the Chairman of a Company! Would I want the Rangers Job, absolutely not, not in a month of Sundays.
As far as being 'best in Scotland' was that not in the Charity Sector? There is a big difference in being in a CEO Role or Chairman role at Hearts or St Mirren than being in those roles at Rangers.
We have to go back a long time to find the last quality CEO that was at Rangers, a gentleman by the names of David Homes.

I would like to think that the appointment of a new Chairman would come with new Investment and that the CEO would follow as happened with Lawrence Marlborough and the aforementioned.

I don't personally see a role for Dave King and the Parks Family for me are dinosaurs that will not take the club forward. Likewise, and despite being a sprightly septuagenarian myself I do not see with role being undertaken by Gilligan or anyone else that is over 65 years of age.

I will admit to being a supporter of Bennett who I believed could see us through to new investment, (which incidentally I still believe will happen and from existing shareholders - but not necessarily current Board Members) .

The sooner the changes come into play the better but the time around the AGM looks like a good bet!

24 Sep 2024 21:53:01
Being told Williams was our lb today.

John2561

1.) 24 Sep 2024 22:07:44
Correct John it was. I posted earlier about this. A good player that has went off the rails. Still young enough to change his ways.

2.) 24 Sep 2024 22:29:12
Can assure it wasn’t Brandon Williams.

3.) 24 Sep 2024 23:49:39
It wasn't brandon Williams.

It wasn't matip.

It was a young croat defender.

4.) 25 Sep 2024 00:29:34
I posted earlier that it was Williams, but since then I have seen a picture and it's not him. The trialist has no tattoos while Williams is covered in them.

5.) 25 Sep 2024 07:22:07
2 goals Hagi again. time to give the boy his chance, me thinks.

6.) 25 Sep 2024 08:30:09
I’ve had further info. It definitely was not Williams. 79 could be correct as told he was foreign.

Hopefully hear over next couple of days.

7.) 25 Sep 2024 09:13:05
GC1872 posted last night that it was not Williams.

8.) 25 Sep 2024 11:26:25
Could it have been Filip Brekalo, 21 left back released by Zagreb in the summer. Brother of Joseph who was linked to us in summer?

9.) 25 Sep 2024 11:27:21
Blue dreamer no it’s not time it never will be time.

10.) 25 Sep 2024 11:26:25
Could it have been Filip Brekalo, 21 left back released by Zagreb in the summer. Brother of Joseph who was linked to us in summer?

11.) 25 Sep 2024 11:27:21
Blue dreamer no it’s not time it never will be time.

12.) 25 Sep 2024 12:07:10
Need another CB.

13.) 25 Sep 2024 12:23:00
Don't know who it was but why would we trial a young full back at centre back? It was a friendly so surely we would just have left Hutton or Devine out and seen what the boy could do in his proper position. That makes me think it was a centre back either to cover the gap left by Davies or just as a development player in the B team.

14.) 25 Sep 2024 13:02:19
Florida bear, that's about 3 posts you've said 100% it brandon Williams on trial and it was 100% not.

McCallum confirmed as interim Academy Director.

John2561

1.) 30 Oct 2024 17:28:50
Good or bad for the club?

2.) 30 Oct 2024 17:39:11
What do you think John, any view?

3.) 30 Oct 2024 17:41:12
Is that a good appointment John?

4.) 30 Oct 2024 17:51:34
Cheers wise John.

5.) 30 Oct 2024 18:22:45
All over social media earlier, not sure the pros or cons of taking months to appoint someone to an interm position that was already within the clubs infrastructure.

6.) 30 Oct 2024 18:56:31
Imo it’s a holding role, however mcallum is more suited to academy director than a day to day manager.

Yes Ger we all saw it, hence reason to post it for ones who may not have seen it.

7.) 30 Oct 2024 19:17:29
I have knowing McCallum since he we were 7 tho I haven’t spoken to him in a couple of years. Nice guy to be fair.

8.) 30 Oct 2024 21:05:52
Very interesting what dado said about a gers manager with hair, we never do well with bald managers, & our most successful have a full head of hair, in recent times anyway, ckever.

22 Oct 2024 19:12:24
At forthbank, interesting team,

John2561

1.) 22 Oct 2024 19:42:08
Is that the team John:-

Goalkeeper: Haliwell

Defenders: Adam Devine, Kristian Webster, Clinton Nsiala, and Zander Hutton

Midfielders: Bailey Rice, Paul Nsio, and Ianis Hagi

Forwards: Josh Gentles, Findlay Curtis, and Alex Lowry

-: some of that talent should be getting gametime in first team.

2.) 22 Oct 2024 19:55:45
Did any players stand out John?

3.) 22 Oct 2024 20:02:17
Lots of 2008 born subs. Must be some good prospects there.

4.) 22 Oct 2024 20:30:15
Danilo just scored?.

5.) 22 Oct 2024 20:31:54
That's the wrong team I posted, I'm a doofus?.

6.) 22 Oct 2024 20:56:06
Why have they not put the B team on RTV instead of the Kilmarnock game. Don’t want to watch that again. ?.

7.) 22 Oct 2024 20:57:51
John could Bailey rice step up to the 1st team
Just now?

8.) 22 Oct 2024 21:51:31
Fork

Mum Hutton Webster king nsiala
Hagi rice nsio
Curtis Danilo Lovelace

Goals Curtis 2
Danil
Hagi

Standout nsio with three sassy should also have score a couple imo
Lovelace good 45. Danilo busy. Nasala and rice also played well.

9.) 22 Oct 2024 22:04:52
Gd to see them develop bud, gt the wrong team strangely off the gers site, hagi n danilo scoring and Curtis doing well?? gt to start thinking about a bigger involvement for some of these lads, cheers John??.

10.) 22 Oct 2024 23:00:26
If we are not going to trust the academy boys we are as well shutting it down. i'm not saying fill the team with them but surely one or two can be trusted.

11.) 23 Oct 2024 01:18:51
Storm imo he merits minutes as does nsio or we will lose them.

12.) 23 Oct 2024 06:51:39
Posted similar a few times recently Jaws??.

20 Oct 2024 21:42:15
Dreadful news from Chris Hoy today.
God bless him and his family.

John2561

1.) 20 Oct 2024 22:12:26
Well said John, bad enough for him, and his wife also diagnosed with MS, god bless them and the kids.

2.) 20 Oct 2024 22:13:18
Saw that John. Puts into perspective a football match.

3.) 20 Oct 2024 22:28:49
Yeah. Sad news indeed. ?.

4.) 20 Oct 2024 22:37:18
We don't agree on much John, but 100% agree mate. The guy is an absolute legend and all round good human being. Cancer has probably touched everyone of us on here, one way or another, devastating disease that scares the living day lights out of me. God bless chris and family.

5.) 20 Oct 2024 22:49:52
Terrible news, my heart goes out to him and his Wife and the Family.

6.) 20 Oct 2024 23:08:50
Very sad news, also shows how anyone can get it no matter your fitness and lifestyle choice.

Cancer can strike anyone at anytime felt really sad and scared for him when I heard the news. ❤️.

7.) 21 Oct 2024 05:10:05
Here here guys ?My thoughts with chris hoy and all his family at these sad times, god bless everyone of them ??.

8.) 21 Oct 2024 07:31:29
Life is oh so cruel - God bless and support all the Hoy family and their friends at this difficult time??.

9.) 21 Oct 2024 08:37:01
Very sad news indeed. Your health really is your wealth.

10.) 21 Oct 2024 09:00:06
Really is sad news with his wife diagnoses a couple of weeks ago too.

11.) 21 Oct 2024 10:27:11
I read this, and still can't believe it!

This just shows you that this horrible, brutal disease, does not discriminate, and it can strike down the fittest of people. It's truly heartbreaking to think Chris is going to lose his life at such a young age, and will leave behind his wife to deal with her own terrible illness and their young family to bring up. This just puts everything into perspective!

12.) 21 Oct 2024 11:37:19
The only thing I can think of is how devastating this is.

16 Oct 2024 09:48:41
Good to see koppen confirm that Cortes has signed a five year deal no get outs
Least we know.

John2561

1.) 16 Oct 2024 09:54:34
Great news, if he can get past his bad luck with injury I think he is capable of being a very good player for us. he's only 20 and will get better.

2.) 16 Oct 2024 10:05:15
Let’s hope he can shake off these injuries. I would like to see how good he is with a good run of games.
There is definitely a player in there.

3.) 16 Oct 2024 10:24:33
Is it official then John
Haven’t seen Cortes has signed a 5year deal

Looks a player but for me it’s a big risk with his injuries so far and not been able to see him have a run of games?

4.) 16 Oct 2024 10:49:28
Great news, more money wasted. How does he look a player? What evidence is there to back that up? Been out injured ever since he came and got shown up by Hearts right back.

5.) 16 Oct 2024 10:49:46
Thestigno it’s on Rangers review that he’s signed a 5 year deal in the same story Koppen confirms we made a similar move for Sima but it became way to expensive for us.

6.) 16 Oct 2024 11:01:59
Thanks G4 ?.

7.) 16 Oct 2024 11:13:07
Stig it’s in a interview with koppen saying the he has signed a five year deal.

8.) 16 Oct 2024 11:17:02
Read that Koppen said we did bid for Sima in the summer and more than the Cortes fee, Cortes was only returning from injury this season and we didn't see the player he is but seen enough from him in a couple of games from the previous season, don't play for Colombia at 19 if you can't play, remember someone saying Palma is better than Sima that someone is now saying Cortes isn't good enough, (Archie or other know as coldo) try a bit harder, couple of posts man and it's all getting easier working you out.

9.) 16 Oct 2024 11:29:48
Oh Archie, have a wee lie down and then start your day again.

10.) 16 Oct 2024 12:02:07
Morelos played for Colombia and he can't play.

11.) 16 Oct 2024 12:20:28
It is still reported as a loan to buy deal and checked the Rangers web and it says there 1 year loan and he will put pen to paper on a 4 year deal at end of that. so 5 year deal agreed and signed. no mention of threshold of percentage of matches to play. good news either way IMO.

12.) 16 Oct 2024 12:34:09
Coldo 3rd top scorer in uefa/ Europa history but he can't play deary dear man cc.

13.) 16 Oct 2024 12:47:49
Not even the celtic fans would say Palma is better Sima. They wouldn't say their midfield is weaker either.

14.) 16 Oct 2024 12:48:48
Rangers luck needs to change soon . Cortes signed on a 5 year deal with supposedly no get outs . That ‘s great if he wasn’t injured all the time .
I find it hard to believe no get out . Surely if we want rid of him we can tell him to go and negotiate a transfer. If he, or his agent thinks the grass is greener elsewhere, he will be gone in the next window.

15.) 16 Oct 2024 13:00:08
Is archiemac some previous poster reincarnated, sounding awfy negative.

16.) 16 Oct 2024 13:28:16
Baz his issue is he throws in a negative comment, we respond and he ignores it to put in his next negative comment. I see him as a young lad sitting in his darkened room getting excited by us responding to his (master) bating posts. (Eds sorry if this doesn't meet forum rules but the brackets were added as a list thought. )

17.) 16 Oct 2024 13:29:16
Star u found him again ?.

18.) 16 Oct 2024 13:41:18
Coldo you 100% did say Palma was a better player than Sima, I also believe you are a celtic fan.

19.) 16 Oct 2024 14:41:03
Fort it's only getting easier now, you'd think he'd change his chat mate.

20.) 16 Oct 2024 15:00:18
Just pick a name and keep it, or as you say he could stay on his own site.

21.) 16 Oct 2024 15:16:14
I can 100% confirm that no one on here ever said Palma was better than Sima.

I can also 100% confirm that Morelos, Dowell, Lammers, Cifu, Dessers, Dio, Cortes are not quality players.

I can also 100% confirm that Cerny is not better than Kent.

I can also 100% confirm I'm not a Celtic fan.

I can also 100% confirm Celtic are not weaker in midfield.

I can also 100% confirm that Beale's system doesn't work.

22.) 16 Oct 2024 15:28:45
Let's hope the lad cortes doesn't become our new 'Jack'

23.) 16 Oct 2024 16:14:27
Archie you are speaking out of yourself again. You say 100% confirm but what you then spout is opinion.
1st line can't be bothered checking as the rest are so wrong. as someone who likes too check facts that is a first.
facts 2 and 3 are opinions.
fact 4 could be a lie we just have too take your word for it
fact 5 is an opinion as well
fact 6 is an incorrect opinion. you could argue as an alternative opinion that it worked when we won 55 as it allowed us to go unbeaten for the whole season.
I 100% confirm I am the greatest poster this site has seen. Now do you understand the difference between opinion and fact. BTW I don't in case someone chooses to pick on that element as the only one.

24.) 16 Oct 2024 16:43:33
Archie, you need a burd mate.

25.) 16 Oct 2024 17:04:22
Aye a cassawary on a lead?.

26.) 16 Oct 2024 17:16:15
he's got his mum big dado or is it his sister ?.

27.) 16 Oct 2024 17:39:39
Hope he signed Kasa on a similar deal.

Don’t want a repeat of the Tillman carry on.

15 Oct 2024 08:09:03
Two xcellent assists from kasanwirj for Netherlands under 21 last night, we need to get this guy signed b4 we can't afford him.

John2561

1.) 15 Oct 2024 08:18:39
100% agree John but is he goona sign for us to be a bench warmer for Tav?

2.) 15 Oct 2024 08:25:22
It's us John, never straightforward mate.

3.) 15 Oct 2024 08:28:54
Correct John. He is the future so get him in the side. Tillman and Sima slipped through the net we can't keep letting it happen.

4.) 15 Oct 2024 08:39:19
So the boy is only on loan, I thought he was one of the options to buy, we need to get him signed up and in the team ASAP, at Tavs expense? I'd be happy with that?.

5.) 15 Oct 2024 08:50:22
Fork there is an option to buy (not obligation) and I think I remember a price for that being quoted of just over £1M. Dado hopefully like Tillman we have a clause built in just in case his club renege on the option. We did exercise that option but Bayern decided they wanted to keep him to sell for more and we got 2 lots of compensation instead; 1 for the removal of option and 10% of the fee they eventually sold him for. Sima we didn't have an option over I don't think and he wanted to play ECL so wouldn't sign for us.

6.) 15 Oct 2024 09:49:01
indeed contrary to what many believe its not always rangers fault. a player needs to want to come to scotland and its not attractive hence why we end up paying more than what a players true worth is. unfortunately there are many other alternatives now rather than plying your trade in a freezing, wet and rubbish league. so we make europe every year but so do many other teams now. really needing young guys that want to go places and use us as a stepping board into a better league. we should really only be hoping to get 2 years from a player, ie develop and sell on.

7.) 15 Oct 2024 10:31:41
just so everyone knows he actually played at left back last night for the u21s so he is really a benchwarmer for Jefte?

8.) 15 Oct 2024 10:45:14
Angus he has played more in his career at rb or cb.

9.) 15 Oct 2024 10:52:19
Angus because Dutch played him in his least favourite position we don’t have to.

What I’ve seen of him he enhances us.

10.) 15 Oct 2024 11:00:23
Wouldn't mind seeing Sterling Soutter Kasanwirjo Yilmaz as our back four.

11.) 15 Oct 2024 11:17:49
Said this in one of the live chats john, Nana should be our starting Rb and Tav dropped. He is more solid at the back and isn't half bad going forward and pretty sure if we keep him on the bench then Feyenoord can decide to recall him. Also won't want to make him sign either.

12.) 15 Oct 2024 11:36:08
John the problem seems our manager prefers playing a guy past his best and who costs us goals rather than a young powerful defender who's best year's are ahead of him.

13.) 15 Oct 2024 12:07:35
I`ve always defended Tav but after the Lyon game I really think it is time to make the change at R. B. Kasamwirjo won`t score as many goals but he certainly knows how to defend and gets forward quite well. If we have am option to sign him that means the ball is in our court ( and the players of course) . No comparison to Tillman who Bayern changed the goalposts and didn`t want to stay and Sima who we were never going to afford or attract to stay unless we qualified for the Champions League.
Kasanwirjo is the kind of signing I had hoped we would find in Holland and Belgium with Koppen in charge of recruitment.

14.) 15 Oct 2024 12:16:45
Spot on OWS and BBJ, also, Angus I did mention I thought he was an option to buy bud? and agree John he does enhance us defensively and on the front foot?.

15.) 15 Oct 2024 12:52:12
Just over 1m is an absolute steal.

16.) 15 Oct 2024 15:27:22
Fork I know you did just making it clear bro others it wasnt an obligation. BTW the figure of just over a million isn't from anywhere official just some online sites. He cost PSV 1.5M euros which is possibly where the figure came from
winding people up on Jefte/ Tav as i knew the fact Kasa had a good game for his U21s would result in a get rid of Tav conversation.

17.) 15 Oct 2024 16:20:57
Walter many of us b4 the summer wanted tav to move on, we r labelled tav haters,

Myself and I suspect most want a better team to challenge,

Big dado apparently PSV valued him over five million euros, we are not getting him for one million I’m afraid,

18.) 15 Oct 2024 16:59:59
No probs Angus?.

19.) 15 Oct 2024 17:06:27
We needed Tav to go during the summer window. I'd like to see sterling at RB for a run of games, unfortunately i can't see that happening. I don't think Clement has the balls to drop him.

20.) 15 Oct 2024 21:46:18
the "I think he should be dropped but because the manager doesn't follow my brilliant insight he doesn't have the balls" argument. I love it. it couldn't possibly be the fact that he knows the game better than you do could it. ?.

21.) 15 Oct 2024 23:35:49
Like Kasa, is it just me or has Sterling looked a shadow of himself so far this season, he was critical of the team last year and wonder if he's frustrated at not getting the shout at RB.

22.) 15 Oct 2024 23:37:08
Feyenoord john?

23.) 16 Oct 2024 08:20:04
Paul. I think John may have put PSV as I did in my post. you are correct it is Feyenoord.

Sorry for having an opinion, Watson 2 million struggles for games at moment, but we could take a punt as we have plenty spare cash,

Cameron and miller best two by far. I don’t think we will sign miller circa 5 million

Two I’d take are Mackenzie and Cameron both free in January.

Issue is Watson struggles for a start at Kilmarnock but we see him as the answer for our midfield.
