We will still be playing the same tactics. Its concerning. I never thought of it until a guy posted it on another page. We were 2-0 up going into a second leg in CL and we went completely gung ho at times leaving us stretched and exposed. that's 3 games where this formation / style leaves vulnerable to quick attacks. People say we improved. Its hard to say as two different levels of teams.

You were blowing him up as a class player Star, denying it doesn't change that he was in fact good at Leeds, he needs to be that class of player up here, he has done nothing to convince me that Raskin should be moved left to accommodate him, raskin is far better in that role than him, it's an opinion and up to him to change my thinking.

Saying Rothwell is no better than Lowry or Can't well is clearly nonsense from someone who can't see past a haircut.

However, I think saying that Raskin, our best player, is better in that position and is currently being sacrificed for Rothwell in the team is absolutely fair.

Rothwell doesn't look a bad footballer to me. Doesn't look a world beater either. But after 3 games and having seen Raskin in that position many times for club and country, I'm absolutely comfortable in saying both we're a worse team with Rothwell in that position than Raskin and that Raskin looks a shadow of himself playing as a left 8.

You move Raskin back into the 6 and I think you make an instant improvement to us.

And for those who love the new shiny things, that's not me saying Rothwell is cr*p, it's me saying Raskin is better (which we've all seen) .

By all means swap them and see what Rothwell can do at left midfield if you still want him in the team.

I thought he'd play as a number 8 for us but clearly the man in charge doesn't, but he needs plenty more time for getting his system working constantly.

To be fair to martin was always going to need time but he also has to help jimself i get they were just back from an energy sapping game in greece but that is life at Rangers of you can't deal with it at start of season how do we expect to deal with it at the end of a lomg season
